DIGIC DV provides superior images while new sound
technology gives crystal-clear audio. One-touch controls
make all this technology available instantly, while a
REC end-search feature remembers where you stopped
recording, so previously recorded precious footage need
never be lost.

With up to 22x zoom, the MV700
series lets you get even closer to
your family and friends. Developed
over 60 years, it’s one of the best
zooms on the market, allowing you
to capture outstanding detail without
having to get in close yourself.
With an 800,000 pixel CCD combined with DIGIC DV,
image resolution is razor-sharp. All MV700 series models
have an Image Stabilizer to reduce camera shake.
For stunning panoramic clips you can use the optional
wide-angle accessory. So now you’ve read the fine detail,
you’re ready to make some great films.

A mode for every mood.
Whatever mood the weather’s in (or you’re in for that matter), MV700 camcorders
have a mode for it. Whether you’re shooting at night, in the pitch black or even in
sand or snow, you can shoot with complete confidence.
SUPER NIGHT MODE
Super Night Mode (only available with
the MV750i) means you can capture
colours in the pitch black, so even if
you can’t see, the camera can.
SKIN MODE
Skin Mode picks up the tone of skin and gives a
more soft-focus feel. Skin looks more delicate and
marks or wrinkles are less noticeable.
NIGHT MODE
Night Mode means you can shoot
great colours at night –the camcorder
automatically adjusting to the darkness.
EXTENDED MOTION
JPEG RECORDING
You can record up to 60-minute
long Motion JPEG recordings and
store them to MultiMedia or
SD Memory card (only available
in MV750i and MV730i models).
SIMULTANEOUS DIGITAL
STILL RECORDING
Not all your recordings have to be
full-length epics. The MV700 series
lets you capture digital stills and store
them to MultiMedia or SD Memory card
at the same time as you’re shooting
a video (only available in MV750i and
MV730i models).
DIGITAL ANIMATION MIX
If you want to be more adventurous,
try Digital Animation Mix Mode, where
you can mix live image recordings with
animation (only available in MV750i
and MV730i models).

WHAT’S ON TV TONIGHT?
You are. This is your premiere and everyone’s invited.
Just connect the S-Video lead from your camera to
your TV and you can begin. No fiddling with knobs
and switches, and no tuning-in either.
GET CONNECTED
IEEE1394 connectivity gives you a direct connection to
your PC, so downloading award-winning recordings of
your children is a lot easier than getting them to
behave. You can also convert analogue movies to
digital and vice-versa –so converting your old VHS
tapes is simple. Once they’re converted you can save
them onto DVD’s or a PC. DV Messenger software
allows MV700 series camcorders to function as
webcams, so you can get face-to-face with your
friends even if you’re in different countries.
PRINT, SAVE, SEND
Printing digital stills is completely straightforward. All
you do is connect to a Canon printer (or any PictBridge
compatible printer), select the image you want and print.
Sending Motion JPEGs via the Internet couldn’t be easier
either –just connect, download and send. You can even
transfer movies from miniDV tape to Multimedia or SD
Memory card.
