need for fast, high-quality scans and maximum convenience. The USB 2.0 Hi-Speed connection enables you to scan large
images up to 2.5 times faster than USB 1.1*. Color reproduction is outstanding with up to 1200 x 2400 dpi and up to 48-bit color
processing for over 281 trillion possible colors. Four external buttons—copy, scan, e-mail and file enable true one-touch
convenience for each function—and allow easy sharing of images with any audience. For multiple images, “Multi-Scan” mode
automatically scans all the photos in one pass. The LiDE 50 scanner even includes a powerful suite of applications featuring
Adobe®Photoshop®Elements.

The LiDE 50 scanner may be slim, but it can tackle the big jobs. The exclusive Z-Lid expansion top lifts up to 1" high and stays
flat for scanning books and magazines. Other scanner covers lift only at an angle—not lying flat for thick items, resulting in poor
scans. Unique to the Canon LiDE scanner series is the single cable connection
for both power and data transfer—no bulky AC adapter required. A handy
scanner stand allows “on-edge” convenient use or storage.
