Install new box preferably within 40 meters
of the slip ring compartment.
Plug in the power cable and secure the
power cable using the latch.
Plug in the power cable Secure
Fasten the box using four M8 screws. Turn on the i-BRUSH 2.0 box. Connect the box to the
internet using an ethernet
cable and insert it in in the
port named “Ethernet”.

Install HMI display within 100m of the
i-BRUSH 2.0 box.
Fasten the display using four M8 screws.

Plug in the power cable. Plug in the HMI cable to the
HMI display and in the
i-BRUSH 2.0 box.
Plug the barcode scanner into
the HMI display. Turn on the HMI display.

Install the receiver inside of the slip ring
compartment. Fasten it using screws.
Route the cable to the i-BRUSH 2.0 box and connect the
cable in the USB-plug outlet labeled “USB Receiver”.
Seal the connector housing by
screwing the housing on to the
panel outlet, in order to keep
out dust and dirt.

Insert brush into brush holder. Make sure the brush glides freely in the brush pocket.
Make sure the transmitter (blue or red capsule) is on the side of the brush holder
in order for the handle to be closed properly.

If needed, twist the transmitter
around the power cable.

located on the side of the
handle.

Try to close the handle and
confirm that the transmitter
is not an obstacle

Place the tool according to picture above. Push the tool into the contact.
The contact can then be dismounted
Dismount the cable clip from the cable to push as picture below.
Only install brushes with + (RED) transmitter on the plus side of the generator
and the - (BLUE) on the minus side of the generator.

To dismount the Transmitter contact use this tool.
