the
elliptical
trainer.
2.
Use
the
elliptical
trainer
only
as
described
in
this
manual.
3.
It
is
the
responsibility
of
the
owner
to
ensure
that
all
users
of
the
elliptical
trainer
are
adequately
informed
of
all
precautions.
4.
Place
the
elliptical
trainer
on a level
surface,
with
a
mat
beneath
it
to
protect
the
floor
or
carpet. Keep
the
equipment
indoors,
away
from
moisture
and
dust.
·
5.
Keep
the
elliptical
trainer
away
from
walls
and
clear
from
any
obstructions
and
furniture.
6.
Inspect
and
tighten
all
parts
regularly.
Replace
any
worn
parts
immediately.
7.
Never
operate
the
unit
if
it
has
been
dropped
or
damaged.
Do
not
use
until
the
defective
parts
are replaced.
8.
Keep
children
and
pets
away
from
the
elliptical
trainer
at
all
times.
9.
The
elliptical
trainer
should
not
be
used
by
persons
weighing
more
than
100
kgs
(220 Ibs).
10.
Wear
appropriate
clothing
when
using
the
elliptical
trainer.
Always
wear
athletic
shoes
for
foot
protection
. Keep all
loose
clothing,
shoelaces,
and
towels
away
from
moving
parts.
11.
Always
hold
the
handlebar
when
mounting,
dismounting
or
using
the
elliptical
trainer.
12.
Consult
your
physician
before
starting
any
fitness
program.
13.
Always
keep
your
back
straight
when
using
the
elliptical
trainer. Do
not
arch
your
back.
14.
If
you
feel pain
or
dizziness
at
any
time
while
exercising,
stop
immediately
and
begin
cooling
down.
15. The
elliptical
trainer
is
intended
for
in-home
use
only.
Do
not
use
the
elliptical
trainer
in a
commercial,
rental,
or
institutional
setting.
ASSEMBLY
Before you begin, please consider the following steps:
1) Locate a cleared area for assembly and remove all packaging material.
It
is recommended that you
do
not
dispose of the packing material until assembly is completed.
2) Organize your bolts and nuts before assembly. Nuts are identified by the diameter of their cavities. For more
information, refer to the product diagram and parts list
on
pages
10
and
11
of this manual. Note: Some small parts
may already
be
assembled.

Assembly Instructions:
Step One:
• Fasten the rear stabilizer (31) and front stabilizer
(57) with 4 carriage bolts (32) from the underside of
stabilizers.
• Secure with 2 washers (29) and cap nuts (28) to
main frame (56).

Step Two:
• Connect the upper tension cable (53) and upper
sensor cable (43) to the lower tension cable (54)
and lower sensor cable (55) securely.
• Insert the handlebar post (51) into the main frame
(56) and secure with 6 screws (52), spring washers
(67) and washers (29).
• Secure the water bottle shelf (68) onto the handle
bar post (51) with 2 screws (27), and then insert the
water bottle (
70
) into the water bottle shelf (68).
Please note: When installing the tension cables, do not pull
too tightly,
as
it
might cause a disconnection
in
cables.

WARNING!!!
Please don't pull out the connector too hard,
it
may cause the tensi
on
wire
to
move
out of position.
Set the bottom of the upper tension cable into the cable connector bracket (cable box)
as
per the photo. Then pull
the ha
nd
lebar post away from the unit. The cable connector bracket will slide forward
to
allow the nipple
on
the
e
nd
of
th
e cable insu
la
tion
to
seat into the end of the cable box
as
shown
in
the last photo.

Step Three:
• Attach the end of the lower right swing bar (9) to the
axle with spacer (49). Attach screw cap (17) and
secure tightly with a washer (6) and screw (5
).
• Attach the end of the lower left swing bar (36) to the
axle with spacer (49). Attach screw cap (7) and
secure tightly with a washer (6) and screw (5).
Step Four:
• Attach the end of right swing bar (
9)
and left swing
bar (36) to the front ofthe pedal bar (15R/L) and
secure with a screw (14), washer (12) and nut (11)
tightly.
• Slide washer (65) onto axle (19).
• Slide axle (19) through right and left pedal bars
(15R/L) and thread the axle through the cranks
(24).
• Secure with nylon lock nuts (22). Do not over
tighten.
• Attach pedals (16R/L) on to the pedal bars (15R/L).
Secure with 3 screws (18), washer (6), and nut
(35).
Tip: It
is
recommended to attach the pedals to the pedal
bars before attaching the pedal bar to the swing bars and
cranks.

Step Five:
• Attach the upper right swing bar (3)
to
the lower
right swing bar (9) and secure with 2 carriage bolts
(4). washer (29). nut (28). and with screw(52).
• Attach the upper left swing bar (46) to the lower
right swing bar (36) and secure with 2 carriage bolts
(4). washer (29). nut (28). and screw(52)
Step Six:

• Secure front handle bar (41)
to
the handle bar post
(51). Turn the handlebar wrench (44) counter-
clockwise
to
open the clamp. place handle bar (41)
in
the clamp and turn handlebar wrench with the
washer (6) clockwise
to
tighten clamp and secure
handle bar (41).
Step Seven: Computer Installation
• Remove the screws from the back of computer (1).
• Install batteries into tne battery compartment.
• Plug the sensor cable (43) into the computer (1)
• Slide computer (1) onto bracket of handlebar post
(51), secure with screws (47)
• Plug the handle pulse cable (42) into the computer
(1
).
Notes:
• Make sure that all parts of the elliptical trainer are properly tightened.
• There may
be
some hardware left over after assembly is completed.

Elliptical Trainer
TO INSTALL BATTERIES:
Remove battery cover
on
back of monitor.
Insert two fresh "M " batteries.
Ensure that the batteries are correctly positioned and that proper contact
is
made with terminals.
NOTE: Removing the batteries will erase any stored monitor function.
NOTE The monitor
is
equipped with
an
auto
ON
/auto OFF function that will turn the monitor
ON
when the Elliptical
Trainer is
in
use, and OFF if the Elliptical Trainer is not used for 8 minutes.
FUNCTIONS
AND
OPERATIONS
To
select
the
function
display
on
the
monitor
by
pressing
MODE
button.
There
will
be
an
indicator
(arrow
sign)
on
the
right/left
side
of
the
screen
shows
which
function

SCAN:To activate scanning function, press button until arrow on LCD points to "SCAN". The monitor will

SPEED: To display current speed, press button until LCD arrow points
to
"SPEED".
NOTE: If monitor displays "M"

lower right-hand corner of LCD, the unit of speed

in
mph.
DISTANCE: To activate distance function, press button until arrow
on
LCD points to "DIS
T".
The monitor

TIME: To activate timer function, press button until arrow

LCD points to "TIME". The monitor will now display the
current time of the exercise session (min:sec
).

ODOMETER: To activate the odometer function, press button until arrow
on
LCD point6 to

now display the traveled distance.
NOTE: If monitor displays "M"
in
lower right-hand corner of LCD, the traveled distance is
in
miles. If monitor does
NOT display "M"

lower right-hand corner, the traveled distance
is
in
kilometers.
CAL: To activate calories burned function, press button until arrow
on
LCD points to "CAL". The monitor will now
disp

y the calories burned.
PULSE: Press "MODE" button until "\7 "appears beside "PUL
SE
" on LCD. Place and hold both of your palms
on
the contact pads. After a few seconds, the monitor will display your current h
ea
rt rate
in
beats per minute (BPM). As
long as your

the contact pads,

TO USE
How to get
on
and off the elliptical trainer
Mounting
the
elliptical
trainer
:
• To mount the elliptical trainer, hold the handlebar and step onto the pedal that
is
in
the lowest position.
• Next, step onto the other pedal.
• Push the pedals until they begin to move with a continuous motion.
• Pedals can
be
pushed
in
either direction.
Dismounting
the
elliptical
trainer:
• To dismount the elliptical trainer, wait until the pedals come to a complete stop.
• When the pedals are stationary, step off the highest pedal first. Then step off the lowest pedal.
MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLE SHOOTING
How to keep your elliptical trainer clean
• Using a soft cloth, clean dust and other residue from the frame and parts that are
in
contact with
the moving parts of the elliptical trainer.
• Do not put water near the computer.
Storage
• When storing the elliptical trainer, remove the batteries from the computer.
• Keep the elliptical trainer
in
a clean, dry location, away from moisture and dust.
Overall Function of Elliptical Trainer
Ensure all parts and screws are tightly secured. If the following areas are making noise or are loose, adjust the screws
to
ensure they are secure:
• Foot Pedals
• Handles
• Front upright section
If
the noise continues. after tightening apply some grease
to
the connecting part.
Adjusting resistance levels
• As you exercise, you
can
adjust the resistance of the pedals with the resistance knob
on
the upright.
• To increase the resistance, turn the knob clockwise
• To decrease the resistance, turn the knob counter clockwise.
• If the resistance adjustment does not work, ensure the cable
in
the front upright
is
connected. To connect,
disassemble the front upright and
co
nnect upper and lower tension cable. For details, refer
to
assembly step two
on
page
4.
Computer Troubleshooting
• If the computer does not function properly, the batteries should
be
replaced. To replace the batteries, refer
to
a
ss
emb
ly
step sev
en
on
page
6.
• Ifthere is
no
pulse reading, check cables
to
ensure there is a connection. To connect, plug
in
to
the rear of the
c
om
puter.
• If there is no speed, distance, RPM reading, check cables to ensure there is a co
nn
ection.

lse Sensor Troubleshoo
ti
ng
• Avoid moving your hands while using the pulse sensor. Excessive movement may interfere with heart rate readings.
• Do not hold the metal contacts too tightly; doing so may interfere with heart rate readings.
• For the most accurate heart rate reading, hold the metal contacts for about 15 seconds.
• For optimal performance of the pulse sensor, keep the metal contacts clean. The contacts can be cleaned with a soft
cloth. Never use alcohol, abrasives, or chemicals.
