WIRING SAFETY FOR UK USE ONLY
IMPORTANT
As the colours in the
mains lead of this
appliance may not
correspond with the
coloured markings
identifying the terminals
in your plug, please
proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable).
The wire coloured blue is the neutral and must be
connected to the terminal marked [N] or coloured
black.
The wire coloured brown is the live wire and
must be connected to the terminal marked [L] or
coloured red.
On no account must either the brown or the blue
wire be connected to the [EARTH] terminal .
Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened
correctly.
The plug must be tted with a fuse of the same
rating already tted and conforming to BS 1362
and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewireable
plug tted to the mains lead and should the fuse
need replacing, you must use an ASTA approved
one (conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
If you need to remove the plug – disconnect it
from the mains – and then cut it o of the mains
lead and immediately dispose of it in a safe
manner. Never attempt to reuse the plug or insert
it into a socket outlet as there is a danger of an
electric shock.
WARNING:
This appliance is double insulated. Do not connect any wire to the earth terminal.

directly into basin.

temperature does not exceed
40°C.
• Never switch o the unit with
wet hands ensure that you
dry them before connecting or
disconnecting from the power
supply.
• Store the unit right way up.
• When lling DO NOT exceed the
maximum level indicator mark.
• Should the product leak for any
reason please cease using it and
have it inspected by electrically
qualied person.
• If you have any medical
conditions or medical implants
that may be aected by this
product please seek medical
advice from your doctor or
consultant before using this
product.
• In the unlikely event the
appliance develops a fault,
stop using it immediately and
seek advice from the Customer
Support Team.

1. Remove your appliance from the packaging.
2. Check that there is no damage to the cord or any visible damage to the body.
3. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE
Fill the foot spa with warm water making sure it is
unplugged.
Place the appliance on the oor in front of you
with the control dial turned to the ‘0’ position.
Plug the foot spa in and turn it on at the mains.
Use the control dial to select the desired setting.
Lower your feet into the foot spa and relax.
For an extra massage, roll your feet over the
rolling massagers.

Benets of using a Carmen Massaging
Foot Spa
• Helps detoxication: The infrared light helps
to promote blood circulation, detoxication
and stress relief.
• Benecial for proper blood circulation:
massaging your feet on the massage rollers
will help improve circulation.
• Relieves stress: the keep warm setting
will keep the water at around 38°C for 30
minutes, allowing you time to relax and rest.
• Relieves headaches and pain: you can put
your feet in the basin and the nodules of the
basin will stimulate the acupuncture points
of your feet.
For best results
• Use the foot spa with clean feet.
• Always empty the foot spa after use.
• Use weekly as part of your foot care regime.
• Use only clean (preferably ltered) water.
Note: Do not ll the massaging foot spa with
lotions, oils or any other bath/shower gels as this
can block the pump.
CLEANING AND CARE
1. Before you commence cleaning ensure
that the product is disconnected from the
electrical supply.
2. Wipe with a damp, soapy cloth and dry
thoroughly with a soft cloth to ensure that
the product does not become scratched.
Storage
Replace in packaging when dry and store in a
cool dry place away from children.

OF THE APPLIANCE IN WATER SUCH AS
MOTOR UNITS OR PLUGS.
