IGNITION:

IMPORTANT
źRead the following instructions carefully and be sure your barbecue is properly installed, assembled and cared for. Failure to
follow these instructions may result in serious body injury and/or property damage.
źIf you have any questions concerning assembly or operation, consult your dealer or LPG Gas Company.
źAlways place the appliance and gas bottle on leveled flat ground.
źNever light the appliance with the HOOD in the closed position.
źYour barbecue can be used with gas bottles between 11 kg to15 kg. Your barbecue will perform better if propane or LPG
mixtures are used. Butane can be used also, but because of the rate of gas flow, the bottle tend to freeze so the gas is then
supplied at reduced pressures, thus affecting the performance of your barbecue.
When setting the barbecue the following clearances must be obeyed:
źSides and rear of appliance: 1 metre from any obstruction.
źAbove the appliance: NO OVERHEAD OBSTRUCTION ARE PERMITTED.

CONNECTING THE GAS CYLINDER TO THE APPLIANCE
źThis appliance is only suitable for use with low-pressure butane or propane gas or LPG mixtures, fitted with the appropriate low-
pressure regulator via a flexible hose. The hose should be secured to the regulator and the appliance. This barbecue is set to
operate with 30 mbar regulator with LPG gas. Use a suitable regulator certified of BSEN 16129. Please consult your LPG dealer
for informations regarding a suitable regulator for the gas bottles.
REGULATOR AND HOSE
źThese items are supplied with barbecue, but replacements are available from your equipment retailer or an authorised LPG gas
stocket. Use only regulators and hose approved for LP Gas at the above pressures. The life expectancy of the regulator is
estimated as 10 years. It is recommended that the regulator should be changed within 10 years of the date of manufacture.
źThe use of the wrong regulator or hose is dangerous, always check that you have the correct items before operating the
barbecue.
źThe hose used must conform to the relevant standards for the country of use. The length of the hose must be 1.5 metres
(maximum). Worn or damaged hose must be replaced. Ensure that the hose is not obstructed, kinked or in contact with any part
of the barbecue other than at its connection.
STORAGE OF APPLIANCE
źThe appliance should be only allowed to store indoors when appliance is disconnected and removed from the cylinder. When
the appliance is not in use for a period of time it should be stored in its original packaging and stored in a dry, dust free
environment.
GAS CYLINDER
źThe gas bottle should not be dropped or handled roughly. If the appliance is not in use, the bottle must be disconnected.
Replace the protective cap on the cylinder after disconnecting the cylinder from the appliance.
źCylinders must be stored outdoors in an upright position and out of the reach of children. The cylinder must never be stored
where temperatures can reach over 50o C. Do not store the cylinder near flames, pilot lights or other sources of ignition. DO
NOT SMOKE NEAR THE CYLINDER(S).
źThis barbecue is designed for outdoor use only, away from any flammable materials. It is important that there are no overhead
obstructions and that there is a minimum distance of 1m from the side and rear of the appliance. It is important that the
ventilation openings of the appliance are not obstructed. The barbecue must be used on a level, stable surface. The appliance
should be protected from direct draughts and should be positioned or protected against direct penetration by any trickling water
(e.g. rain).
źParts sealed by the manufacturer or his agent must not be altered by the user. No modifications should be made to any
part of this barbecue and repairs and maintenance should only be carried out by a CORGI registered service engineer.

CONNECTION TO APPLIANCE
źBefore connection, ensure that there are no debris caught on the head of the gas bottle, regulator, burner and burner parts.
Spiders and insects can nest within and clog the burner/venturi tube at the orifice. A clogged burner can lead to a fire beneath
the appliance.
źClean burner holes with a heavy-duty pipe cleaner.
źFit the hose to the appliance using a spanner to tighten it onto the connection thread. If the hose is replaced, it must be secured
to the appliance and regulator connections with hose clips. Disconnect the regulator from the bottle (according to the directions
indicated on regulator) when the barbecue is not in use.
źThe barbecue must be used in a well-ventilated area. Do not use indoors or in garage.
źONLY USE THIS BARBECUE OUTDOORS.
CHECK FOR LEAKS
źMake 2-3 ounces of leak detecting solution by mixing ¼ washing up liquid with 3/4 water.
źEnsure that the control valve is OFF.
źConnect the regulator to the bottle and ON/OFF valve to the burner, ensure the connections are secured, then turn ON the gas.
źBrush the soapy solution onto the hose and all joints. If bubbles appear you have a leakage, which must be fixed before use.
źRetest after fixing the fault.
źTurn OFF the gas supply at the gas bottle after testing.
źIf leakage is detected and cannot be rectified, do not attempt to repair leakage but consult your gas dealer.
DIRECTIONS FOR IGNITION
źOpen the grill lid and turn on the gas supply.
źPush the knob and turn it to the MAX position, to lit the burner.
źIf the burner does not ignite within 5 seconds, turn the knob to the OFF position and repeat the second step.
źSet the burner flame by turning the knob between the MAX and MIN positions.
źTo turn off the grill, first switch off the gas supply and then turn the knob to the OFF position.
CAUTION: If you cannot ignite the burner, turn the knob to the OFF position and turn off the gas supply. Wait 5 minutes before
repeating the ignition process.
Before cooking for the first time, operate the barbecue for about 15 minutes with the lid closed and the gas turned on HIGH. This
will 'heat clean' the internal parts and dissipate odours from the painted finish.
CLEANING AND CARE
CAUTION:
źAll cleaning and maintenance should be carried out when the barbecue is cool and the gas supply turned OFF.
źCLEANING: “Burning off” the barbecue after every use (for approx. 15 minutes) will keep excessive food residue to a minimum.
OUTSIDE SURFACE
źUse mild detergent, or baking soda and hot water solution. Non-abrasive scouring powder can be used on stubborn stains, then
rinse with water.
źIf the inside surface of the barbecue lid has the appearance of pealing paint, baked on grease build-up has turned to carbon and
is flaking off. Clean thoroughly with strong, hot soapy water solution. Rinse with water and allow to completely dry.
źNEVER USE OVEN CLEANER.
INTERIOR OF BARBECUE BOTTOM
źRemove residue using brush, scraper and/or cleaning pad, then wash with soapy water solution. Rinse with water and allow to
dry.
COOKING GRID
źUse a mild soapy water solution and rinse with water. Non-abrasive scouring powder can be used on stubborn stain.
CLEANING THE BURNER
źTurn the gas OFF at the control knob and disconnect the bottle.
źRemove cooling grate.
źClean the burner with a soft brush or blow with compressed air and wipe with a cloth.
źClean any clogged parts with a pipe cleaner or stiff wire (such as an opened paper clip).
źInspect burner for any damage (cracks or holes). If damage is found, replace with a new burner. Re-install the burner, check to
ensure that the gas valve orifices are correctly positioned and secured inside the burner inlet (venturi).
SERVICE
źThis gas appliance must be inspected by an authorized gas appliance service center every year.

źDieses Gerät ist nur für den Einsatz in Niederdruck-Butan- oder Propangas- oder Flüssiggasgemischen geeignet, die über einen flexiblen Schlauch mit dem

LAGERUNG DER APPLIANCE

VERBINDUNG ZUR APPLIANCE
źVergewissern Sie sich vor dem Anschließen, dass sich keine Ablagerungen im Kopf der Gasflasche, des Reglers, des Brenners und der Brenner befinden.

PŘIPOJENÍ PLYNOVÉ LAHVE KE SPOTŘEBIČI
źTento plynový spotřebič je vhodný pouze pro použití s nízkotlakými plynovými lahvemi plněnými plynem butan, propan nebo směsí LPG, vybavenými
odpovídajícím nízkotlakým regulátorem a pružnou hadicí. Hadice musí být na regulátoru i na spotřebiči zajištěna hadicovými sponami. Provozní tlak tohoto
spotřebiče je nastaven na 28 mbar pro plyn butan, 37 mbar pro plyn propan a 30 mbar pro směsi LPG, nebo 37 mbar pro směsi LPG, nebo 50 mbar pro
směsi LPG. Použijte vhodný regulátor certifikovaný BSEN 12864: 2001. Poraďte se se svým prodejcem plynu ohledně vhodného regulátoru tlaku pro dané
tlakové lahve.
REGULATOR A HADICE
źTyto díly jsou dodávány společně s grilem, ale náhradní jsou k dispozici pouze u autorizovaných obchodníků či autorizovaných servisů plynových zařízení.
Používejte pouze regulátory a hadice schválených pro plynové spotřebiče s výše uvedenými tlaky. Životnost regulátoru je cca 10 let. Doporučujeme regulátor

SKLADOVÁNÍ SPOTŘEBIČE
źSkladování spotřebiče v interiéru, je přípustné pouze v případě, kdy je plynová láhev odpojena. Pokud spotřebič není používán po delší období, měl být
skladován v originálním balení a uložen v suchém bezprašném prostředí.
PLYNOVÁ LAHEV
źS plynovou láhví musí být zacházeno opatrně! Není-li spotřebič v provozu, musí být plynová láhev odpojena. Po spojení od spotřebiče vždy umístěte
ochranný kryt na plynovou láhev.
źPlynové láhve musí být skladovány ve venkovním, dobře větraném prostoru, ve svislé poloze a mimo dosah dětí. Plynové láhve nesmí být vystaveny větším
teplotám než 50°C. Neskladujte plynové lahve poblíž ohně, žhavých či horkých předmětů nebo jiných zdrojů vznícení. Při manipulaci s plynovou lahví ani v
jejím okolí nekuřte ani nepoužívejte otevřený oheň.

Connection to Appliance
