Troubleshoot
Ifthedeviceisnotworkingproperly,pleasechecktroubleshootbelow.
1. CheckelectricaloutletisproperlypluggedintotheAP5541andthedeviceispoweron.
2. CheckLEDlightstatusonthedeviceisworkingproperly.FormoreinformationcheckLEDbehavior.

•ChecktheAP5541isproperlypluggedintotheACelectricalwalloutlet.Ifstillnotworking,changeanotherelectrical
outletormakesureelectricaloutletisworkproperly.
•Ifthedevicestillcannotbeoverpowerednormally,itmaybethatpoweradapterisdefectiveandmustbereplaced.
*Note:Pleaseusethepoweradapterweprovide.Theoutputvoltageis+12VDC/1.5A.Makesureyouplugintheright
voltage.Pleasecontactyourcablecompanyforreplacementwhenpoweradapterisnotfunctionnormally.
Afterthedeviceisturnedon1min,LEDredlightisturnonorflashing
‐Makesurethecomputernetworkcarddriverisinstalledcorrectly/uptodate.
‐CheckwhetherthecomputernetworkissettoobtainanIPaddressautomatically.IfthecomputerissettoobtainanIP
addressautomatically,pleasecheckwhetherthenetworkconnectioniscorrect.
‐IftheLEDredlightcontinuouslybrightorflashingfor5minute,itmeansthattheMeshnetworkcannotestablish
normalservicesorcannotobtainanIPaddress.Pleasecontactyourinternetserviceprovidertoreportforrepairs.

Meshnetwork5GHzWi‐Fisignalisweak(bluelightflashing),or2.4GHzWi‐Fisignalisweak(greenlightflashing).Users
canchangethepositionofthewirelessbasestationuntiltheblueorgreenLEDlightofthewirelessdeviceissteadyor
LEDlightisconstantlyon,indicatingthattheMeshnetworkestablishedbythewirelessstationandthecablemodemis
stable,properlyreceivingandsendingWi‐Fisignals,andthedatatransmissionspeedishigh.
*Ifthesolutionslistedheredonotsolveyourproblem,contactyourinternetserviceprovider.
Beforecallingyourinternetserviceprovider,trypressingtheResetbuttonontherearpaneloftheAP5541.Pleasenote,if
youpresstheResetbutton,youwillloseallyourcustomconfigurationsettings,includingFirewallandAdvancedsettings.
