Initial operation
Please observe the following instructions when commissioning and using the machine in order to obtain an optimum counting
result.
•Connect the power plug to the socket.
•Now connect the power cord to the CCE 4150 and switch it on.
•Pour the coins into the coin hopper. Please make sure that no foreign objects (e.g. paper residues from coin rolls) or
foreign coins get into the machine.
•Select the correct coin size and coin thickness using the two settings. Always start a sorting process with the largest
coin. Smaller coins are sorted out to the side.
•Attach a coin sack or another collection container at the front and on the right-hand side of the eject compartment.
•Press the "Start/Stop" button and start the counting and sorting process.
•The coins will now be counted and the largest coin set will be ejected to the front. Repeat this process until all coins are
counted and sorted. Please make sure the setting is correct.
Functions
Addition function:
To add up the counting results of several counting operations, activate the ADD function by pressing the ADD/STORE button.
The LED below the display will light up accordingly. The CCE 4150 now adds up all coin quantities in the number of pieces. This is
recommended when counting large quantities of coins of one type. Press the ADD/STORE button again to switch off the addition
function.
Batch function:
The CCE 4150 offers you the possibility to count fixed coin quantities:
By pressing the COUNT / PRESET button you activate the batch function. With the keys +1000/+100/+10/+1 you can set the
desired value, which is shown in the lower display line. You can now count sorted coins or the largest coin in an unsorted coin
quantity with the CCE 4150. To do this, adjust both settings correctly, fill the coins into the coin hopper and press the
"Start/Stop" button. When the preset count stop is reached, the machine stops and you can remove the counted coins. By
pressing the "Start/Stop" key, the counting process will continue until all coins have been counted or the preset batch value is
reached again. Smaller coins will be sorted out into the right output tray as before.

Error management and maintenance
Please follow the instructions below for cleaning the machine to avoid errors caused by contaminated sensors and to have an
optimal result when counting coins.
Cleaning of the mechanics
Coins and dust deposits are deposited in front of the sensors and in the sorting mechanism of the machine and in the transport
area of the coins. These impurities can cause problems during transport and in the recognition and sorting of the coins.
Therefore, please clean the CCE 4150 at regular intervals. In general, we recommend a short cleaning at the end of the
working day, this process only takes a few minutes. When cleaning the machine, generally switch off the machine and pull
the mains plug.
Lift up the right cover to get access to the sorting area. (see picture 1)

Picture 2
Picture 3
Pull the metal plate marked on picture 1 and lift up the mechanism (picture 2). With a soft brush or cloth you can remove the
coarse dust deposits from the transport area of the coins. If you have jammed coins, you also have access to the corresponding
area to remove the coins.
By loosening the screws on the side of the hopper, it can be removed carefully. Please take care of the cables on the backside
that they do not tear off or get jammed. You can now free the hopper from dust and foreign objects and stuck coins.
When assembling the CCE 4150, please make sure that the moving parts of the CCE 4150 snap back into place and that no cables
are jammed or otherwise damaged, so that no malfunction during the counting process occurs.
For additional cleaning, we recommend using a non-flammable compressed air spray to remove dirt and fine dust even in
inaccessible areas.
