NOTE: Please read instructions carefully before installation.
Please refer to assembly instructions, and ensure the bike carrier is installed
correctly.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
• Do not use the bike carrier for off-road purposes.
• Do not load tandems or recumbents on this bike carrier.
• Do not install this bike carrier on a trailer or other towed vehicles.
• Inspect the bike carrier before and after loading the bicycles for damaged or missing components. If
problems are detected, discontinue use and seek repair or replacement parts prior to use.
• Check for tightness of the straps at regular intervals, as the bicycle may shift during travel. Inspect
more frequently when travelling on bumpy roads.
• After loading the bicycles, do not attempt to remove the quick-release pin from the main rack post.
Doing so may cause tilting of the bike carrier, which would lead to damage of the vehicle carrying
the bike carrier, vehicles moving behind, or bicycles.
• Some states/provinces may not allow the licence plate to be obstructed.
Please check with your local ministry of transportation for more information.
• This bike carrier may not be suitable for use on vehicles equipped with rear-mounted spare tires, as
this carrier requires clearance from the vehicle 14" (36 cm) beyond the hitch receiver pin opening of
the vehicle.
• Do not wash or use an automated car wash while the bike carrier is mounted on the vehicle.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THE SAFE AND PROPER USE OF THIS PRODUCT.
Improper attachment or misuse of the bike carrier may damage the bike carrier, bicycles loaded on the carrier, the
vehicle carrying the carrier, or vehicles moving behind, and may result in HAZARDOUS situations due to possible
collision or swerving of your vehicle.
READ AND FOLLOW THE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE BIKE CARRIER.
NEVER EXCEED THE MAXIMUM LOAD CAPACITY OF THE BIKE CARRIER.
WEIGHT LIMIT: 180 lb (80 kg) total or 45 lb (20 kg) per cradle.

LIMITED WARRANTY
This product has a one (1) year limited warranty from the original date of purchase against defects in material
or workmanship.
EXCLUSIONS
The warranty will not apply if the product is modified, damaged or misused. Any and all implicit warranties,
including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, shall not exceed in
duration the term of limited warranty. In no event shall the manufacturer or the distributor be liable for
incidental or consequential damages.
WARRANTY
• Wipe the bike carrier with a damp cloth and mild detergent after every use and before storage.
• Store the bike carrier indoors and in a cool, dry place.

CAUTION
Some vehicles may not support the bike carrier.
This bike carrier is designed in such a way that the paint of the vehicle will not be damaged if the
carrier is properly mounted on the vehicle.
• Always secure the bicycle(s) to the bike carrier using straps, ropes or shock cords (not included).
• Never load more than four bicycles (totalling 180 lb [80 kg]) on the bike carrier.
• Do not use worn or damaged straps.
• Do not allow the bicycle tires to hang near the exhaust pipe of the vehicle. The hot exhaust could
melt and destroy the tires.
• To prolong the life of the bike carrier, remove it from the vehicle when not in use.

Align the holes at the lower end of the rack
mast (A) with corresponding holes of the
stinger (B).
Note: Use protective bolt caps (C) to cover the
bolt head and nut.

Insert bolt (D) into the indicated hole and secure
using a flat washer (G), a spring washer (H) and a
nut (I). Tighten them using a 3/4" (19 mm)
wrench (not included).
Follow step 2 to insert the second bolt (D) into the
other indicated hole.

ASSEMBLING THE BIKE CARRIER
Note: Use protective bolt caps (C) to cover the
bolt head and nut.
TOOLS REQUIRED FOR ASSEMBLY
• 3/4" (19 mm) ratcheting socket.
• 3/4" (19 mm) wrench.
• Cross-head #3 screwdriver.

Insert the quick-release pin (E) into the indicated holes
of the main rack post (A) and hitch (B). Secure the
quick-release pin using the pin clip (F).

ASSEMBLY
Note: This bike carrier can be fitted to vehicles
equipped with a 1 1/4" (3.2 cm) or 2" (5 cm) hitch
receiver.
• Follow steps 5 and 6 for fitting the bike carrier
to a 2" (5 cm) hitch receiver.
• Follow steps 7 to 9 for fitting the bike carrier to
a 1-1/4" (3.2 cm) hitch receiver.

Insert the 2" (5 cm) hitch adaptor (1) of the stinger
into the

Insert the anti-wobble hitch pin (J) into the aligned

receiver (2) of the vehicle.

Disassemble the 2" (5 cm) hitch adaptor (1) of the
stinger (B) by removing the two #3 cross-head
screws (3).

Secure the stinger using anti-wobble hitch

Place the bicycles
in alternating directions on the
lower cradle plate (6). Replace the upper cradle
plate (5). Tightly secure the plates using the hand
knobs (4).

Separate the upper cradle plates (5) from the lower
cradle plates (6) by rotating the hand knobs (4)
counterclockwise until completely removed.

LOADING BICYCLES ON THE BIKE CARRIER
Note: Load the heaviest bicycle closest to the
vehicle. If loading three bicycles or less, leave the
outermost rack spaces empty.

Secure the wheel and frame of the bicycle to the
bike carrier using straps (7) (not included) to prevent
movement while in transit.

TILTING THE BIKE CARRIER

Remove all bicycles from the bike carrier.
Remove the pin clip (F) from the base of the rack
mast (A).
With one hand, hold the centre of the rack
mast (A) firmly in place. Use the other hand to
pull the quick-release pin (E) from the base of
the rack mast then lower the rack mast away
from the vehicle.
After accessing the vehicle trunk, return the
rack mast to its upright position, insert the
quick-release pin, and secure using the pin clip.

To access the rear trunk or hatch of the vehicle:

WARNING:
After loading the bicycles, do not attempt to remove the quick-release pin
from the rack mast. Doing so will tilt the bike carrier and may damage the
vehicle, bike carrier, or surrounding items.
CAUTION:
• Secure the bicycle pedal in such a way to prevent the vehicle from being
scratched.
• Do not allow the bicycle tires to hang near the exhaust pipe of the vehicle.
The hot exhaust could melt and destroy the tires.
• Check for tightness of the straps at regular intervals, as the straps may loosen
and the bicycle may shift during travel. Inspect more frequently when travelling
on bumpy roads.
• Remove the bike carrier from the vehicle when not in use to avoid
additional wear on both the vehicle and the carrier.
