9.Calibration instructions
For stable and reliable results. The thermometer offers a user correction function. The method works as
follows:
Step 1: Measure a person's temperature with a conventional thermometer. For example, you get 37.5°C
(99.5°F).
Step 2: Measure the temperature of the same person with the non-contact body infrared
Thermometer. Keep the distance from 5 to 15 cm between the thermometer and the forehead
(Be sure to remove any obstacles that could alter the measurement (hair,
Sweat ...). When you reach 37.5 °C (99.5 ° F), the non-contact infrared
body thermometers correctly adjusted and ready for operation.
For example, if you get a lower temperature of 36.4°C (97.4°F), your difference is 1.1°C (2.2°F).You should
set the temperature on the non-contact body infrared thermometer and add the difference, i.e. H.1.1 °C
(2.2°F).
Press the "MODE" button for 2 seconds. F1 is displayed on the screen. Press the "MODE" button again
until you receive F3.Press the "UP" key to add the difference (in our example 1.1° C - 2.2° F).
Step 3: To check this, measure the temperature again with the non-contact body infrared thermometer.
10.Operation
10-1. Insert the battery
10-2.Wait about 10 minutes for the device to warm up when using new batteries for the first time or
when inserting new batteries.
10-3.If the device is not in use for a long time, the device first tests the room temperature after
switching on again and delays switching on by one or two seconds.
10-4. Aim at the forehead from a distance of 5 cm (position see figure below) and press the
measurement button. The temperature is displayed immediately.Make sure there are no hairs
present.sweat, cosmetics or cap covered on the forehead.
7
10-5. If the room temperature has a significant difference or there is sweat on the forehead, you can
measure the temperature behind the earlobe.Make sure there are no hairs present.sweat, cosmetics or
cap.
8
11.Measurement operation
11-1 .Choosing the temperature unit - F1 function

temperature.Use the body mode. Measuring range for body mode: 32 to 42.5 ° C (86 to 108 ° F)
You can also use the non-contact infrared body thermometer to measure the temperature of an area or
object, food, liquid, or room temperature.Use the surface mode. Measuring range for surface mode: 0 to
60 ° C (32 to 140 ° F)
Important: The surface temperature differs from the internal body temperature. To maintain the internal
temperature, always use body mode.
9
Make sure you select the body mode for internal temperature measurement and the surface mode for
external area measurement (bottle, bath, room ...).
11-7.Data storage
Data memory automatically after temperature measurements displayed in the right corner of the
LCD.Press the "UP" or "DOWN" button to see the last temperature measurement.
When turned off, press the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons at the same time for two seconds to display the

batteries for single use.
Remove the battery from the instrument if it is not needed for a long time to prevent damage to the
thermometer from a leaky battery.
11-9. Long-lasting use
The non-contact infrared body thermometer is designed for intensive and professional use. Its longevity
is guaranteed for 40,000 shots.
12. Advice

pay careful attention.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries, do not throw fire into them.
• Do not expose the thermometer to sunlight or water.
13.Maintenance and cleaning
• The infrared sensor is the most precise part and must be carefully protected.
• Clean the device with a cotton swab lightly moistened with 70% alcohol.
10
• Do not clean the device with a corrosive cleaning agent.
• Keep the device away from water or other liquids.
•Store the device in a dry environment and keep it away from dust and direct sunlight.
14.Troubleshooting
If you have any of the following issues while using the non-contact forehead IR thermometer, please
refer to this service guide to resolve the issue. If the problem persists, please contact our customer
service.
The screen shows a body temperature below 32°C (89.6°F). When you are in surface mode, the displayed
temperature of 32°C (89.6°F) indicates the outside temperature that your body releases.
The message "HI" appears on the screen. When using the non-contact body
infrared thermometer, the HI message can be displayed on the screen.
The analysis is above the selected measuring range, either above 42.5 ° C (108 °
F) in body mode or over 60 ° C (140 ° F) in surface mode.
The message "LO" appears on the screen. When using the non-contact body
infrared thermometer, the Lo message can be displayed on the screen.
The analyzed temperature is below the selected measuring range, either less
than 32 ° C (90 ° F) in body mode or less than 0 ° C (32 ° F) in surface mode.
This message appears in several cases. Below is a list of the main cases.
Reasons to display the message "LO" or "HI"
