Make sure that only qualied personnel are 10.
allowed to operate Gantry Crane.
Specic Safety Instructions
Do not move the Crane when it is under load.1.
The Caster Wheels are not designed to be
rolled when the Crane is lifting an object.
Do not stand under object that is being lifted.2.
Be aware of the possibility of a load slipping
off Crossbeam (19). An item that falls from
the Crane may cause serious injury.
Make sure load is secured, balanced, and3.
positioned properly in the hook, sling, or lift-
ing device before it is lifted.
Make sure load is clear of obstructions, such4.
as stockpiles, machinery, anchors and other
obstacles when lifting or moving the load.
When moving Crane, avoid sudden accelera-5.
tion and movements.
Verify ground is solid enough to support6.
weight of the Crane when fully loaded.
Verify that the Gantry Crane passage is clear.7.
Do not use for side pulling.8.
Operate on at and level surface only.9.
DO NOT lift loads if the Cross Beam is not10.
level.
DO NOT lift if load is swinging.11.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT
SAFETY INFORMATION section at the
beginning of this document including
all text under subheadings therein
before set up or use of this product.
Attach two Plates (20) to both sides of end of1.
Crossbeam (19), using four Bolts (1), Wash-
ers (2), Spring Washers (3), and Nuts (4).
Repeat for the other end of Crossbeam. See
Figure 1, below.
Attach each Inner Post (21) to the Cross-2.
beam and Plate and fasten together by using
eight Bolts, Washers, Spring Washers, and
Nuts. See Figure 2, below.
Attach four Casters (27) to Base (26). Apply3.
small amount of grease (not included) to zerk
tting of each Caster. See Figure 3, below.
Position an Outer Post (23) at center of Base4.
(26), making certain that the slot at the sides
face towards the Casters. See Figure 4,
below.
From the top, insert two Bolts (14) through5.
bottom of Outer Post and into Base (26).
Slip on Washer (2) and Spring Washer (3)
and Nuts (4). Secure by tightening Nut. See
Figure 4, above.

Attach two Support Tubes (22) to inner face6.
of each Outer Post (23). Insert the Bolt (5)
through top of Support Tube and through
eyelet of the Bracket and Support Tube. Slip
on a Washer (6), Spring Washer (7) and se-
cure with the Nut (8). See Figure 5, below.
Attach the other end of Support Tube to the7.
base assembly by the following the steps in
Ste 6, above. See Figure 5, above. Repeat
for other three Support Tubes
Attach Inner Post (21) into Outer Post (23) by8.
inserting Hand Screw (9) all the way through
slots and into Inner Post holes. Make sure
Inner Post heights on each side are adjusted
equally. See Figure 6, below.
Attach Handle (24) to the bracket on the side9.
of Outer Post by inserting the Bolt (10) from
the inside and then slipping on Washer (6),
Spring Washer (16) and then securing with
Nut (11). See Figure 7, below.
Make sure the two hooks of the Handle en-10.
gage the two Pins (25). See Figure 8, above.
Repeat for other post assembly.
Tighten all Bolts and Nuts securely and make11.
certain entire Telescoping Gantry Crane is
tight and secure.
Test Gantry Crane before initial use.12.

OPERATION
Do not exceed 1 ton (2,000 lb.) weight1.
capacity during use.
Attach appropriate trolley or hoist (not in-2.
cluded) to Crane crossbeam, making sure it
is rmly fastened. Read manual of hoist to
verify it can be used with Crane and follow all
hoist safety instructions and procedures.
Move the Gantry Crane so that it is directly3.
above the item to be lifted. Once in place,
lock all the Casters.
To raise or lower the Crossbeam (19), two4.
people are required. They should perform the
following steps in unison.
To Raise the Crossbeam:
Lift up Handles (24) and attach the Hooks5.
(28) to the bottom of the load bearing Pin
(18). See Figure 9, below.
Unscrew both Hand Screws (9) to release6.
the Inner Posts (21). Remove the Lower
Height Pin altogether.
Remove idle upper Height Adjustment Pin7.
(25).
Force Handles (24) down, lifting the Inner8.
Posts (21) and insert the idle Pin (25) into the
exposed pin hole below the elevated pin.
Gently lower the Handles (24), allowing the9.
Inner Posts (21) to rest on the Pin (25).
Repeat these steps to attain the desired10.
height.
Turn all four Hand Screws (9) clockwise to11.
further secure the Inner and Outer posts
together.
To Lower the Crossbeam:
Back off the Hand Screws (9) to free Posts.12.
Lift the Handle (24), attach the Hooks (28)13.
under the idle Height Adjustment Pin (25),
raise the handles and remove the load bear-
ing pins.
Lower the handles until the pins rest in the14.
well of the height adjustment slot.
Remove the hooks, set the idle pins in the15.
adjacent upper holes, attach the hooks to
these pins and repeat the above mentioned
step until the desired height is reached. See
Figure 10, below.
Turn all four Hand Screws (9) clockwise to16.
further secure the Inner and Outer post.
MAINTENANCE
Before each use,1. inspect the general condi-
tion of the Crane. Check for bent, cracked,
worn or damaged parts, loose or missing
parts, and any other condition that may affect
the Crane’s safe operation. If a problem oc-
curs, have it corrected before furhter use. Do
not use damaged equipment.
To clean,2. use cloth and mild detergent. Do
not use solvents or other ammable agents.
When storing, keep Crane in a clean, dry and3.
safe location away from children.
CAUTION!4. All maintenance, serivice, and
repairs not discussed in this manual should
only be performed by a qualied service
technician.

and workmanship for the period of 90 days from the date of purchase. This warranty does not apply to
damage due directly or indirectly, to misuse, abuse, negligence or accidents, repairs or alterations outside
our facilities, criminal activity, improper installation, normal wear and tear, or to lack of maintenance. We
shall in no event be liable for death, injuries to persons or property, or for incidental, contingent, special
or consequential damages arising from the use of our product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation of exclusion may not apply to
you. THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IM-
PLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS.
To take advantage of this warranty, the product or part must be returned to us with transportation
charges prepaid. Proof of purchase date and an explanation of the complaint must accompany the mer-
chandise. If our inspection veries the defect, we will either repair or replace the product at our election
or we may elect to refund the purchase price if we cannot readily and quickly provide you with a replace-
ment. We will return repaired products at our expense, but if we determine there is no defect, or that the
defect resulted from causes not within the scope of our warranty, then you must bear the cost of returning
the product.
