licensedperson.AttemptingtoinstalltheOpenerwithout
suitabletechnicalqualificationmayresultinseverepersonal
injury,deathand/orpropertydamage.
OnlyinstalltheOpeneronawellfunctioning,properly
balancedandalignedgaragedoor.Animproperlybalanced
ormalfunctioninggaragedoorcouldcauseseriousinjury.
Haveaqualifiedpersoncheckandifrequired,makerepairs
tothedoorbeforeinstallingtheOpener.Asageneralrulea
garagedoorisdeemedtobewellbalancedandalignedifit;
A.requiresanequivalentamountofappliedforceto
manuallyopenorcloseand,B.requiresnomorethan150N
(15kg)ofappliedforcetoeithermanuallyopenorcloseand,
C.doesnotriseorfallmorethan100mmwhenstoppedat

Repairstogaragedoorsmustonlybecarriedoutby
technicallyqualifiedpersons.Attemptingtorepairthe
garagedoorwithoutsuitabletechnicalqualificationmay
resultinseverepersonalinjury,deathand/orproperty
damage.
Removeorrenderinoperativeallexistinglocksandropes
priortoinstallationoftheOpener.
DonotconnecttheOpenertothepowersourceuntilthis
manualinstructsyoutodoso.
TheOpenermustbeconnectedtoaproperlyearthed
generalpurpose220‐240VACpoweroutlet.
Locatethewallcontrolpanel/pushbutton;A.withinsiteof
thegaragedoorand,B.ataminimumheightof1.5meters
abovethegroundsothatitremainsoutofthereachof
smallchildrenand,C.awayfromallmovingpartsofthe
door.
Affixtheentrapmentwarninglabelinaprominentposition
adjacenttothegaragedoor.
AfterinstallingandadjustingtheOpenerthedoormuststop
andreversedirectionwhenitcomesintocontactwitha
40mmhighsolidobjectplacedunderitonthefloor.
Thecorrectfunctionofthesafetyreversingsystemshould
becheckedonamonthlybasis.
Makesurethatthedoorreverseseasilywhenitmakes
contactwithanobstruction.
NeverusetheOpenerunlessthedoorisinfullviewand
freefromobjectssuchascars,childrenand/oradults.
NeverallowchildrentousetheOpener.
NeverusetheOpenerwhenchildren/personsareunderor
nearthepathofthedoor.
Childrenmustbesupervisedatalltimeswhennearthedoor
andwhentheOpenerisinuse.
NeverattempttodisengagetheOpenerwhenthereare
children/personsorandotherobjectsincludingmotor
vehiclesunderornearthepathofthedoor.
Removalofthescrew‐onprotectivecoversmustonlybe
performedbyatechnicallyqualifiedperson.
Attemptingtoremovetheprotectivecoversorrepairthe
Openerwithoutsuitabletechnicalqualificationmayresultin
personalinjury,deathand/orproperty/productdamage.
Neverattempttomakeanyrepairsorremoveanyscrew‐on
coversfromtheOpenerwithoutfirstdisconnectingthe
powersupplycordfrommainpowersupply.
Alwaysensurethatthegaragedoorisfullyopenbefore
drivingintooroutofthegarage.
Alwaysensurethedoorisfullyclosedbeforeleavingthe
driveway.
Keephandsandlooseclothingclearofthedooratalltimes.
Forthesafetyreversesystemtofunctionitmustfirstexert
