MOVE GENERATOR OUTDOORS
Using a generator indoors CAN KILL YOU IN MINUTES. Generator exhaust contains carbon
monoxide. This is a poison you cannot see or smell.
NEVER use inside a home or garage, EVEN IF doors and windows are open.
ONLY use OUTSIDE and far away from windows, doors, and vents.

8b. Electric Start
1. Open the propane tank or natural gas valve.
2. Turn fuel select dial to “PROPANE OPERATION” or
“NATURAL GAS OPERATION” position.
3. Move the choke lever to the “CHOKE” position.
4. Press the ignition switch to the “START” position for 2-3 seconds.
5. Move the choke lever to the “RUN” position.
6. Press and hold the ignition switch to the “START” position.
7. If engine does not start, wait 10 seconds, then repeat step 6.
Encendido Eléctrico
1. Abra la válvula del tanque de propano o del gas natural.
2. Gire el dial selector de combustible a la posición
“OPERACIÓN DE PROPANO” o “OPERACIÓN DE GAS NATURAL.”
3. Mueva la palanca del ahogador a la posición “AHOGAR.”
4. Oprima el interruptor de arranque en al posición
“ARRANCAR” por 2-3 segundos.
5. Mueva la palanca del ahogador en la posición “CORRER”.
6. Oprima y mantenga oprimido el interruptor
de arranque en la posición “ARRANCAR.”
7. Si el motor no enciende, espere 10 segundos y repita el paso 6.
Manual Start
1. Open the propane tank or natural gas valve.
2. Turn fuel select dial to “PROPANE OPERATION” or
“NATURAL GAS OPERATION” position.
3. Move the choke lever to the “CHOKE” position.
4. Pull the starter cord 2-3 times until you feel some combustion pulses.
5. Move the choke lever to the “RUN” position.
6. Pull the starter cord.
Encendido Manual
1. Abra la válvula del tanque de propano o del gas natural.
2. Gire el dial selector de combustible a la posición
“OPERACIÓN DE PROPANO” o “OPERACIÓN DE GAS NATURAL.”
3. Mueva la palanca del ahogador a la posición “AHOGAR.”
4. Jale el arrancador retráctil 2-3 veces hasta que sienta
unos pulsos de combustión.
5. Mueva la palanca del ahogador en la posición “CORRER”.
6. Jale el arrancardor retráctil.

Keep all objects at least 5 feet (1.5 m) from generator. Heat from the
muffler and exhaust gas can ignite combustible materials.
