IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always

Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before
cleaning this appliance.

13. To disconnect, manually raise the left and/or right toasting lever(s),
then remove plug from wall outlet.

15.AremayoccuriftheToasteriscoveredortouchingammable
material, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in
operation. To avoid excessive heat on wall(s) while cooking, always
keep a space of at least 4 inches between this appliance and the
rear and side walls.
16. Keep hands, hair, clothing, and utensils away from blade, blade
guard and blending container while operating the Stick Blender to
prevent the possibility of severe injury to persons and/or damage to
the appliance.
17. WARNING: To avoid Toaster malfunction, always keep the rear
vents clean and clear.
18. WARNING: ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD. Never attempt to
dislodge food inside the Toaster while the Toaster is plugged in.
Doing so could cause an electrical shock hazard or a risk of re.
19. CAUTION: Parts of this Toaster become hot during operation.
Always use oven mitts when handling hot materials and allow metal
parts to cool before cleaning.
20. Do not place anything on top of the Toaster while it is operating or
while it is hot.

packages, or metal or plastic utensils must not be placed in the
toaster.
22. Do not leave Toaster unattended during use.

24. Always replace BOTH left and right crumb trays and check to make
sure all 4 channels are locked securely into the bottom front of the
Toaster.

NOTES ON THE CORD
A short power supply cord has been provided to reduce the hazards
resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
An extension cord may be used with this appliance if care is properly
exercised in its use. If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical
rating of the extension cord must be at least as great as the electrical
rating on this appliance. The longer cord should be arranged so that it
will not drape over the counter top or table top where it can be pulled
on by children or another person or tripped over accidentally.
ELECTRIC POWER
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your
appliance may not operate properly. It should be operated on a
separate electrical circuit from other appliances.

PARTS
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
1. Remove all packaging materials including those that may be inside the toasting
slots or toasting lever slots.
2. PlaceToasteronaat,level,heatresistantsurface,inawell-ventilatedarea,away
fromammablematerials.
3. Wipe the stainless steel exterior with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly. Do not use
abrasive cleaners.
WARNING! Do not place the Toaster, cord or plug in water.
4. It is recommended to run 1 cycle of toast without breadbeforetherstuse.
NOTE: The unit will visibly smoke and also remit odor as it continues to
burn down-off the factory sediments. This is normal and will not affect the
performance of the toaster.
5. Make sure both crumb trays are locked into position on the bottom front of the
Toaster. Both left and right toasting levers should be in the UP position.
6. Plug Toaster into a 120V 3-prong electrical outlet.
7. Turn both left and right browning control dials to max - 6.
8. Lower both left and right toasting levers until they lock in place.
NOTE: The Toaster may emit a thin smoke on the initial use. This is normal and
not detrimental to the performance of the Toaster.

TOASTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Before toasting, make sure both crumb trays are locked into position on the
bottom front of the Toaster. Both left and right toasting levers should be in the
UP position.
2. Plug Toaster into a 120V 3-prong electrical outlet.
3. Insert bread or toaster food into 1 to 4 of the toasting slot(s). Lower the
corresponding left or right toasting lever(s) until locked into place.
4. When toasting a single slice, bread may be placed in any toasting slot. Adjust the
corresponding browning control to the desired setting between 1 and 6.
5. At the end of the toasting cycle, bread or toaster food will rise automatically.
Use the high lift lever to remove smaller toaster foods or breads such as English
mufns.
IMPORTANT: To avoid damage the heating element or cause injury, never use a
fork or sharp-edged utensil to remove toast.
6. To interrupt toasting, manually raise the corresponding left and/or right toasting
lever(s).
REMOVING LODGED FOODS
1. If, after toasting, a piece of bread or any other toaster food becomes lodged in
any of the toasting slots, unplug the Toaster and allow it to cool.
2. Hold the corresponding left or right toasting lever down. Turn the Toaster upside
down and shake the food loose.
IMPORTANT: Never use a fork or sharp-edged utensil to remove toast, because
that may damage the heating element or cause injury.
3. Clean either or both crumb trays and replace.
USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts. Do not
trytorepairityourself.Contactaqualiedappliancerepairtechnicianiftheproduct
requires servicing.
CARE & CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
1. CAUTION: Be sure the Toaster is unplugged and cool before cleaning.
2. CAUTION: Do not immerse Toaster, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
3. CRUMB TRAYS: Pull each crumb tray out of the bottom front to remove. Wipe
crumb tray(s) with a clean, damp cloth. Push crumb tray(s) back into position.
4. After cleaning, always replace both left and right crumb trays and check to make
sure all 4 channels are locked securely into the bottom of the Toaster.
5. EXTERIOR: Clean the Toaster exterior using a commercial non-abrasive washing
solution, then rinse water, and last, a commercial sanitizing solution. Dampen a
clean, soft cloth or sponge with solution or rinse, then wring all excess moisture
before using.
6. CAUTION: Prevent liquid from running into toasting slots. Wring cleaning cloths
or sponge so they are slightly damp, and NOT TOO WET.
7. Allow the Toaster’s outer surface to dry before using.
8. TO STORE: Use the cord storage clips on the underside of the toaster. Never
wrap the cord around the outside of the Toaster.

CHEF-BUILT® Limited ONE-YEAR Warranty
SENSIO Inc. warrants the CHEF-BUILT® 4 SLICE TOASTER CCT-100 and CCT-250, new product
to be free from defect in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of
purchase when used with food, non-abrasive liquids (other than detergents) and non-abrasive
semi-liquids, providing everything has been used as directed, and not in excess of the
indicated amounts.
Limited One-Year Warranty: SENSIO Inc. hereby warrants that for a period of ONE YEAR
from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship.
At its sole discretion, SENSIO Inc. will replace the product found to be defective, or issue a
refund on the product during the warranty period. The warranty is only valid for the original
retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. The original sales
receipt is required as proof of purchase in order to obtain warranty validation. Distributors and
retailers selling this product do not have the right to alter, modify, or in any way revise the terms
and conditions of the warranty.
This one-year limited warranty does not apply to any product that has become worn, defective,
damaged or broken due to abuse, misuse, overloading or tampering, or due to repairs or
servicing by a non-approved third-party vendor. The one-years limited warranty does not cover
incidental or consequential damages of any kind.
Exclusions: The warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any
of the following: negligent use of the product, use of improper voltage or current, improper
routine maintenance, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair, or
alteration by anyone. Also, the warranty does not cover Acts of God such as re, oods,
hurricanes, or tornadoes. SENSIO Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential
damages caused by the breach of any express or implied warranty. Apart from the extent
prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or tness for a particular
purpose is limited in time to the duration of the warranty. Some states, provinces or jurisdictions
do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on
how long an implied warranty lasts, and therefore, the above exclusions or limitations may not
apply to you. The warranty covers specic legal rights which may vary by state, province and/or
jurisdiction.
The one year limited warranty is applicable only to appliances purchased in the United States;
this supersedes all other express product warranty or guarantee statements. For Chef Built
products sold outside of the United States, the warranty is the responsibility of the local
importer or distributor. This warranty may vary according to all applicable laws and regulations.
How To Obtain Warranty Service: You must contact Customer Service at our toll-free number:
1-866-832-4843. A Customer Service Representative will attempt to resolve warranty issues over
the phone. If the Customer Service Representative is unable to resolve the problem, you will be
provided with a case number and asked to return the product to SENSIO Inc. Attach a tag to the
product that includes: your name, address, daytime contact telephone number, case number,
and description of the problem. Also, include a copy of the original sales receipt. Carefully
package the tagged product with the sales receipt, and send it (with shipping and insurance
prepaid) to SENSIO Inc.’s address. SENSIO Inc. shall bear no responsibility or liability for the
returned product while in transit to SENSIO Inc.’s Customer Service Department.

NOTAS SOBRE EL ENCHUFE

NOTAS SOBRE EL CABLE
Se suministró un cable de alimentación corto para reducir los riesgos
resultantes de enredarse o tropezarse con un cable largo. Se puede
utilizar una extensión con este aparato si se tiene el debido cuidado. Si
seusaunaextensión,laclasicacióneléctricadelaextensióndebeser

aparato. El cable largo se deberá disponer de forma tal que no cuelgue
sobre la mesada o mesa donde los niños u otras personas puedan

ALIMENTACIÓN ELÉCTRICA
Si el circuito eléctrico está sobrecargado con otros aparatos, el aparato

PIEZAS
ANTES DEL PRIMER USO
1. Elimine todo el material de embalaje incluidos aquellos que pueden estar dentro

4. Se recomienda hacer 1 ciclo de tostado sin pan antes del primer uso.
NOTA: La unidad emitirá algo de humo y olor mientras queme los residuos de
fábrica. Esto es normal y no afectará el rendimiento de el tostador.
5. Asegúrese de que ambas bandejas de migas estén trabadas en su posición en
la parte inferior delantera de el tostador. Las palancas de tostado izquierda y

INSTRUCCIONES DE TOSTADO
1. Antes de tostar, asegúrese de que ambas bandejas de migas estén trabadas en
su posición en la parte inferior delantera del tostador. Las palancas de tostado
izquierda y derecha deben estar en la posición superior.
2. Enchufe el tostador a un tomacorriente de 3 clavijas de 120 V.
3. Inserte pan o alimentos a tostar en cualquiera de las 4 ranuras de tostado. Baje
las palancas de tostado correspondientes hasta que queden trabadas.
4. Cuando tueste una sola rebanada, puede colocar el pan en cualquier ranura.
Ajuste el control de dorado correspondiente al nivel deseado entre 1 y 6.
5. Alnaldelciclodetostado,elpanolosalimentostostadosseelevarán
automáticamente. Use la palanca de elevación para quitar alimentos o panes más
pequeñoscomomufnsingleses.
IMPORTANTE: Para evitar daños al elemento de calefacción o lesiones, nunca
useuntenedorounutensiliolosoparaquitarlatostada.
6. Para interrumpir el tostado, levante a mano la palanca de tostado
correspondiente.
EXTRACCIÓN DE ALIMENTOS ATASCADOS
1. Si, después de tostar, se atasca un trozo de pan u otro alimento en cualquier

INSTRUCCIONES DE LIMPIEZA Y CUIDADO
1. PRECAUCIÓN: Asegúrese de que el tostador esté desenchufada y fría antes de
limpiarla.
2. PRECAUCIÓN: No sumerja el tostador, el cable o el enchufe en agua u otro
líquido.
3. BANDEJAS DE MIGAS: Jale cada bandeja de migas de la parte inferior delantera
para extraerlas. Limpie las bandejas de migas con un paño limpio y húmedo.
Empuje las bandejas de migas de regreso a su posición.
4. Después de limpiarlas, vuelva a colocar siempre AMBAS bandejas de migas
(izquierdayderecha)yveriquequeloscuatrocanalesesténbientrabadosenla
parte delantera del tostador.
5. EXTERIOR: Limpie el exterior del tostador con una solución de lavado comercial
no abrasiva, luego con agua para enjuagar y, por último, con una solución
desinfectante comercial. Humedezca una esponja o trapo limpio y suave con una
solución o enjuague, luego estruje el exceso de humedad antes de usar.
6. PRECAUCIÓN: Evite que ingrese líquido por las ranuras de tostado. Estruje las
esponjas o paños para que estén apenas húmedas y NO EMPAPADAS.
7. Dejequelasupercieexternadeltostadorsesequeantesdeusarla.
8. PARA ALMACENAR: Use los ganchos de almacenamiento del cable en el lado
inferior del tostador. Nunca envuelva el cable alrededor del tostador.

SENSIO Inc. garantiza que el nuevo producto CHEF-BUILT®TOSTADORA 4 REBANADAS
CCT-100 y CCT-250, estará libre de defectos de material y mano de obra por un período de
un año a partir de la fecha de la compra cuando se utiliza con alimentos, líquidos no abrasivos
(a excepción de los detergentes) y semilíquidos no abrasivos, siempre y cuando todo se utilice
según las instrucciones y que no se superen las cantidades indicadas.
Garantía limitada por un año: SENSIO Inc. garantiza que por un período de UN AÑO a
partir de la fecha de la compra, este producto estará libre de defectos de materiales y mano
de obra. A su exclusivo criterio, SENSIO Inc. reemplazará el producto que se encuentre
defectuoso o emitirá un reembolso por el producto durante el período de garantía. La garantía
solo es válida para el comprador minorista original a partir de la fecha de compra minorista
inicial y no es transferible. Se requiere el recibo de venta original como comprobante de
compra para obtener la validación de la garantía. Los distribuidores y minoristas que venden
