UNPACKING
UnpacktheSoupWarmerimmediatelyafterreceipt.Ifthemachineisfoundtobedamaged,savethepackaging
materialandcontactthecarrierwithinfteen(15)daysofdelivery.ImmediatelycontactGlobeoryourlocaldealer
oftheequipment.You have no recourse to damage after fteen (15) days.

• ONLYoperateonasolid,level,nonskidsurfacethatisnonammableandawayfromsinksandwaterhazards.

PROPER GROUNDING
THIS MACHINE IS PROVIDED WITH A THREE-PRONG GROUNDING PLUG. THE OUTLET TO WHICH THIS
PLUG IS CONNECTED MUST BE PROPERLY GROUNDED. IF THE RECEPTACLE IS NOT THE PROPER
GROUNDING TYPE, CONTACT AN ELECTRICIAN. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, CUT OR
REMOVE THE THIRD GROUND PRONG FROM THE POWER CORD OR USE ANY ADAPTER PLUG (Fig. 5-1
and Fig. 5-2).

• ProperUseofextensioncord,ifrequired.

cordshouldbeatleastasgreatastheelectricalratingoftheappliance

INSTALLATION
1. Readthismanualthoroughlybeforeinstallationandoperation.DONOTproceedwithinstallationand
operationifyouhaveanyquestionsordonotunderstandanythinginthismanual.Contactyourlocal
representativeorGloberst.
2. RemovetheSoupWarmerfromthebox.Onceyourwarmerhasbeenremovedfromthe
packaging,becertainthatallprotectiveplasticsandresiduesareremovedfromallsurfaces.
4. InspecttheSoupWarmertoensureallpartshavebeenprovided,ifapplicable.
3. SelectalocationfortheSoupWarmerthathasalevel,solid,nonskidsurfacethatisnonammableandaway
fromwaterhazardsorsinks,andisinawell-lightedworkareaawayfromchildrenandvisitors.
5. InstalltheSoupWarmerinitslocationwithatleast5''betweentheapplianceandthewallsorotherobjects.
6. Properconnectionsandpowersupplyareessentialforefcientperformance.
ThisequipmentgetsEXTREMELYHOTsomakesureallammable/combustible
materialsaresetawayfromthisequipment.
COMMISSIONING:
CommissioningofyournewSoupWarmerisoftheutmostimportance.Commissioningisthethoroughand
methodicaltestingoftheequipment,subsystems,andsystemstoensurethatthenalproductfunctionsproperly
andsafelyattheworksite.Byidentifyinganypotentialproblems(i.e.:equipmentlocation,ventilation,localre/
electricalcodes,installation,operatortrainingandcertication)priortoequipmentbeingplacedintoservice,costly
outagesandpotentialdamagesmaybeavoided.

• Theuseofanyaccessoriesorcookingpans,whicharenotrecommendedbythemanufacturer,maycause

BeforeoperatingSoupWarmer,itshouldbecheckedtoseethatitissittinglevel.
NOTE: Always wipe down the outer surface of the
inner pot before placing it inside the warmer. Any
moisture remaining on inner pot surface may
cause a crackling noise while the unit is heating
up. Except for actual cooking area, keep all
surfaces dry to prevent damage to the inner
working of the appliance while it is in operation.
• Washinnerpotandlidinwarmsoapywater.Rinseanddrythoroughly.
• Neverimmerseouterpotinwater.
• AlwaysplaceinnerpotinsideouterbasebeforepluggingintheSoupWarmer.
• Whenplugginginthewarmer,alwaysbesurebasepotcontainsatleast2.5cupsofwater.
• Savetheseinstructionsandrefertothemoften.
Operating Instructions
USE:
1. Connecttheappliancetothemainpowersupply.
NOTE: NEVERplaceemptyinnerwarmingpotintothewarmer.
CAUTION-Toensurecontinuedprotectionagainstriskofelectricshock,connecttoproperlygrounded
outletsonly.Ifthepowercordisdamaged,itmustbereplacedbythemanufactureroritsserviceagentora
similarlyqualiedpersoninordertoavoidahazard.
ThisequipmentisforCOMMERCIALUSEONLY-SeeDiagrambelowforvisualinstructions.
2. PourwaterintobaseofSoupWarmernohigherthanthemaximumwaterlinemarkedontheinsideofthebase.
Makesuretocheckthewaterlevelofthewarmerevery3hoursorso.Turnoffunit,letcoolandrell
asneeded.

5. SoupWarmershouldbeplacedonastable,horizontalsurface.
Temperatureshouldbesetbetween1and8.Itisrecommendedthatthetemperaturebesetatthelowest
acceptabletemperaturetokeepfoodataconstanttemperature.
6. Lidmustbeinplacewhennotinuse.
7. Turndialtozeroandunplugtheunitwhennotinuse.

IMPORTANT FOOD SAFETY INFORMATION ABOUT FOOD / SAUCE / SOUP:
•Food,Sauce,andSoupshouldbeheldat40°Forlowerinarefrigerator.
•Food,Sauce,andSoupmustbefullycookedbeforeusingthisunit.
•Food,Sauce,andSoupheldserviceholdingconditionmustbeataminimumof135°F.Timeiscritical
inbetweenrefrigerationandwarmingandshouldnotbeheldataninbetweentemperatureforverylong.
Soupstoredat40°F,afterbeingfullycooked,willtakeapproximately2hourstoreachthe135°F
temperaturebenchmark.Otherfooditemsmayvaryintimetotemperatureratio.
Pointstoremember:
1. DonotoperatetheSoupWarmerwithoutatleast2.5cupsofwaterinthebase.
2. Avoidreachingovertheunitwhenitisoperating.
3. Usecleanwatertollwaterreservoirbeforeeachuse.
4. NevermoveorcarrySoupWarmerwhenitishotand/orpluggedin.
