
Safety Tips:
• The French Press is not designed for use on direct
heat. Avoid using it on a stove or any kind of open
lame.
• Wash thoroughly before irst use.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not apply strong pressure to the ilter mesh.
• Not recommended for dishwasher use.
French Press Coffee Maker
Making your coffee:
1. Fill press and mug with hot water to warm before
use. Discard the water.
2. Spoon ground coffee into the press.
3. Slowly pour hot water (not boiling) into the press.
4. Stir.
5. Place the lid, but do not press the plunger.
6. Steep for 3 mins (refer to our hourglass timer)
7. Spoon foam from the surface and replace lid
8. Steep for another 3 mins (refer to our hourglass
timer)
9. Slowly and steadily press the plunger.
10. Pour slowly into a coffee mug and enjoy!
If you ind that the coffee is silty, try using a coarser
grind and avoid pouring the last few drops of your
brew. Alternatively, try pouring the coffee without
pressing the plunger at all. Just be careful the lid
doesn’t fall off.
Care and Cleaning:
• Do not put into the dishwasher.
• Dump used coffee grounds in the trash can instead
of tossing them down the drain.
• Do a daily hot water rinse immediately after use.
• Put a drop of mild dish soap or a teaspoon of
baking soda, ill the carafe with hot water and let
everything soak for 3 mins (refer to our hourglass
timer).
• Rinse all the parts thoroughly (especially the check
the screen and plunger assembly.
• Pat dry with paper towel or clean dish towel.
