ELECTRIC FIREPLACE
INSTRUCTION MANUAL
ATTENTION:
1. Find a location for the electric heater that is protected from direct sunlight.
Do not plug the electric heater into the power outlet before you read all instructions

NOTE: If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Important
Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided
that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and
clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
CAUTION—Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular
attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.

Installation
Step 1: Select the wall location where you want to hang your electric heater. Draw a horizontal
line using a level and mark 4 drill holes for the 4 anchor screws.
Note : The holes are for mounting of heater and it shall be level so that the heater can be mounted
properly and leveled.
Step 2: Drill 4 holes 8 mm (5/16in) in diameter and 43 mm (1.7in) deep on the marked locations.
For holes that do not hit stud, use the supplied wall anchor. Install the wall anchors into the holes
and gently tap them into place with a hammer until the flange of the wall anchor is flush with the
wall surface. See Fig. B.
Step 3: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall anchors using the 4 anchor screws and 4 washers
as shown in Fig. C.
Step 4: Mount the heater on wall using the keyhole slots of the metal bracket at the back of the
heater. See Fig. D.
Make sure that the mounting bracket is completely engaged into the metal bracket at the back of
the heater.

Step 5: Secure the mounting bracket to the heater using 2 mounting screws. See Fig. E.
Step 6: Put the rock bed into the heater. See Fig. F.
Step 7: Hold the front cover tightly and engage it with the 6 keyhole slots on both sides of the
heater.
Make sure the front cover has been completely put into ALL 6 keyhole slots before releasing your
hands. See Fig. G.

Step 8: Secure the front cover to the top of heater using 3 mounting screws. See Fig. H.
3-wire cable from power supply to 3-wire cable from heater
Use the 3-wire cable from power supply where local codes permit connecting the frame-ground
conductor to the neutral (white) junction box wire:
A. 3-wire cable from power supply
B. Live wire (Brown wire from heater)
C. Null wire (Blue wire from heater)
D. 3-wire cable from heater
E. Junction box
F. Ground wire (Green yellow wire from
heater)

Operating Instructions
Once the electric heater has been properly installed and connected to a ground electrical outlet, it
is ready to operate.
Note: Ensure the circuit breakers for the power supply are turned on.
Operation By The Control Panel
The main switch is located at the right side bottom of you heater. The other controls are located at
the right bottom of your heater or on the front glass panel (it depends on your model)
O/I : Press this button, you have power and your remote is ready to operate your unit. See
below for other control switches.
Note: When the O/I switch is turned OFF, all other functions will stop even though the switches
may be in the ON position.
: Press this button for main power function. Press again will stop the main power function.
Once the heater is switched off, the unit will keep working with air flow for 60 more
seconds.
: Press this button for flame color function. The default flame color is yellow. Press once
the button for 3 seconds is red color. Press twice the button for 3 seconds is blue color.
Press third back to yellow.
: Press this button for flame dimmer effect. Press this button, the numbers ‘6’ to ‘0’ will
appear on the LED screen. ‘6’ means there is highest flame brightness. And ‘0’ means
there is no flame effect.
: Press this button to the desired temperature. When desired ambient temperature is
reached, the heater will automatically stop heating. When the ambient temperature drops
below the desired temperature 2℃, the heater will resume heating. Press this button on
machine to get the desired temperature.
Operation By The Remote Control
The heater is ready to operate with the remote control when the O/I switch is in the ON position.

: Press this button for main power function. Press again will stop the main power function.
Once the heater is switched off, the unit will keep working with air flow for 60 more
seconds.
: Press this button to toggle between the two temperature scales. The corresponding
Celsius (C) or Fahrenheit (F) LED indicates the current setting.
: Press this button for timer function. The letters ‘0H’ to ‘8H’ will appear on the LED
screen. ‘0H’ means there is no set running time and heater will run continuously. The
letters ‘1H’ to ‘8H’ mean the number of hours that the heater will operate before shutting off.
: Press this button, the numbers ‘6’ to ‘0’ will appear on the LED screen. ‘6’ means there
is highest flame brightness. And ‘0’ means there is no flame effect. The default flame
color is yellow. Press once the button for 3 seconds is blue color. Press twice the button for 3
seconds is red color. Press third back to yellow.
: Press up or down button to the desired temperature. When desired ambient temperature is
reached, the heater will automatically stop heating. When the ambient temperature drops
below the desired temperature 2℃, the heater will resume heating. Press this button on
machine to get the desired temperature.
Note: When the power button is turned off, all other heater functions will stop even though the
buttons may be in the on position.
Remote Control Battery Replacement:
Replace with a CR2025 battery and follow the diagram at the back of remote handset to
install the new battery.
NOTE: Don't throw the old battery into the garbage can. Please recycle batteries through
designated channels

Maintenance:
WARNING: Completely disconnect power before attempting any maintenance or cleaning,
to reduce the risk of fire or electric shock. Maintenance should only be performed by a
certified technician.
Cleaning:
Before cleaning any parts of the fireplace make sure to first turn off the controls and then
unplug the unit from power source.
CAUTION: Wait until the unit has completely cooled before attempting any cleaning.
Cleaning Glass Panel: Remove dust with clean dry cloth. Remove fingerprints and
other marks from glass door by using a clean damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or
spray liquids on glass door surfaces.
Metal and metal painted parts should be cleaned with clean damp cloth only. Do not use
abrasive cleaners or spray liquids on these surfaces.
