Cleaning
Removing and Inserting Batteries
The toy uses 3 AA 1.5 volt batteries. Batteries must only
be installed by an adult. Always keep batteries and tools
out of reach of children.
• Toreplacethebatteries,loosenthescrewholdingthe
battery cover with a Phillips screwdriver and remove
the battery cover. Insert the new batteries; checking
to make sure the polarity (+/-) on the batteries
matches the markings on the product. Replace the
battery cover and secure with the screw.
• Alwaysremoveexhaustedbatteriesfromtheproduct
to avoid damage by possible battery leakage.
• Alwaysremovebatterieswhentheproductisnot
going to be used for long periods of time.
• Itisrecommendedtousealkalinebatteriesofthe
same type in this product.
• Donotmixalkaline,standard(carbon-zinc),or
rechargeable(ni-cad)batteries.Donotmixoldand
new batteries.
• Alwaysdisposeofbatteriesproperly.
• Donotshortcircuitbatteryterminals.
• To prevent damage to the electronics, do not
submerge the toy in water. Only use a soft damp
cloth to clean the toy.
• Protect the toy against heat, dust, sand, and water.
To prevent the risk of strangulation: Donotplaceincriborchild’ssleepingenvironment.Donotattach
strings or straps to the toy.
• Toymustonlybeusedunderadultsupervision.
• Removeanddiscardallpackagingandpackagingfastenersbeforegivingthistoytoachild.
• Donotusetheproductifanycomponentsarebrokenormissing.
• Beforeeachuse,ensurethattheproductandallitscomponentsarenotdamaged.Ifdamagedorbroken,
immediately discard the toy.
• DonotuseaccessoriesorreplacementpartsotherthanthoseapprovedbyChicco.

aretobeprojected.
Turning the Toy ON/OFF:
A. To turn the toy “ON”, move the switch from position “O” (Off) to position “I” or “II” Play Mode. Select the
music and light effects mode by moving the switch to position “I“ or select the lights effects only mode by moving
the switch to position “II”.
B. Once the play mode has been selected, press the musical note button to start the toy. The musical selection in-
cludesamixofclassicaltunes,newagetracksandnaturesounds.Note:Thelighteffectsarebestwhentheroom
is completely dark. TheToy will play for 20 minutes, then switch to stand-by mode. To restart or pause the lights
and music, press the musical note button again. Always switch off the toy when it is not being used. Turn off the
toy by moving the switch to the “O” OFF position.
TheProjectionColors/ShapeModes:
C.SelectingColors:Turnthehalf-circledialswitchtooneofthe7colorsortotherainboweffectsymbol(*)to
projecttheselectedcolorwithintheroom.WhentheRainboweffectisselected,thetoywillautomaticallyproject
all 7 colors alternately (yellow, orange, pink, red, violet, blue and green).
D.SelectingProjectionand/orNightLightMode:Turntheswitchwiththesymbolofthe3projectioneffectsand
night light to start the selected light effects. Simply rotate the cube to select the direction in which you want the
lighttobeprojectedtocreateconstantlynewandcolorfulatmospheresintheroom.
