This cot has been manufactured for one child only,with a maximum weight of 18kgs in cot conguration,27kgs when
in cot bed conguration.
The drop side must be raised when the child is unsupervised.
When the mattress base is assembled in the lower position,ensure the higher cot base holes are covered tightly with the
lling bolts supplied.This is to prevent nger entrapment,swallowing and inhalation hazards.
Ensure the cot is placed at a reasonable distance from curtains,blinds,heaters and power points.
Ensure the cot is completely assembled and check that all parts are securely tightened before placing the child into the
cot.
Ensure medication,string,elastic,small toys or small items such as money etc...are always kept out of the child’s reach
when in the cot.
DO NOT over tighten bolts/screws.
Ensure that the child is clear of any moving parts when adjusting the cot.
RECOMMENDED MATTRESS SIZE:
THIS COT HAS BEEN MANUFACTURED FOR USE WITH A MATTRESS WHICH MEASURES 690 MM WIDE BY 1300 MM LONG
AND 100 MM-150 MM INTHICKNESS.
The width and length are specied because it is important that the gaps between the mattress and the sides and ends of
the cot will not exceed 40 mm when the mattress is pushed to one side or end,and 20mm when the mattress is centred
in the cot.This is to minimise the risk of a child’s limb becoming caught in the gap.The thickness of the mattress has
been specied to ensure that the depth of the cot is greater than 500 mm with the mattress base in the lower position to
minimise the risk of a child climbing or falling out of the cot.
SUFFOCATION HAZARD – Infants can suffocate;
• In gaps between an extra pad or mattress.
• In soft bedding.
Never leave your child unattended.
To reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS),pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their
backs to sleep,unless otherwise advised by your physician.

To prevent falls,the mattress base of this cot should be adjusted to the lowest position before
the child can sit up.
Recommended mattress size:690 Mm wide x 1300 mm long x 100 mm-150 mm thick.
Stop using this cot if any part of the cot is broken,torn or missing.

Use four cot assembly bolts provided to adjust
mattress base height.
Mattress base in high position - this is for use when your
baby is young and cannot sit up unaided.
Attach one end of the mattress base to one end
panel using two cot assembly bolts.
Secure with allen key but do not tighten bolts
completely.
Repeat for other end of mattress base.
Mattress base in low position - this is the normal
position for an active baby which can sit up unaided.

PLEASE NOTE! The cot comes with lling bolts already located in the lower holes
of the end panels. If changing the mattress base from the upper to the lower
position, you must swap over the lling bolts. It is important that the lling bolts
are replaced into the opened holes. Ensure they are secured tightly with the
allen key and check regularly that they do not loosen.
For safe transit, the drop side panel is tted with rubber cap protectors over each
protruding pin. Please remove the rubber caps prior to assembly, and dispose of
immediately to avoid them becoming a swallowing/choking hazard.
HELPFUL HINTS
It is advisable that two people assemble the cot in the room in which it is to be used.
As small parts are involved in assembly, children should be kept clear of the assembly area. Dispose
of all packaging material immediately after the cot is assembled. Identify all parts and components.
Clear an area on the oor for assembly and place a sheet on the oor to ensure the cot is not
scratched during assembly.

With one end panel standing upright, attach one side
of the drop side panel by guiding the pin on its upper
corner into the hole located at the top of the upper
drop side mechanism slot.
Guide the pin on the bottom of the drop side panel
into the hole located at the top of the lower drop side
mechanism slot.
Repeat to attach the other side of the drop side panel
to the second end panel.
Slide the xed side panel between the two end panels
and attach using the remaining four cot assembly
bolts.
Tighten all eight cot assembly bolts.

To lower and raise Drop Side Panel...
1To lower the drop side panel; lift upwards and press
both silver pins simultaneously on the left and right of
the drop side panel.
The panel will then slide down freely.
For safety,do not force the drop side panel to go any
lower.
To raise the drop side panel,lift it to the highest position.
The drop side panel will lock into position.

PLEASE NOTE! For the smoothest and quietest raising of the drop side panel.
Press the release buttons as the panel reaches them and release when the
panel is at its uppermost.

The toddler bed is only designed for use when
the child can get on and off the bed unaided,at
approximately 2-5 years of age.
The cot bed rails are only designed for use with
childcare cots and with a childcare mattress which
has the following dimensions: (1300mm long x 690mm
wide x 100-150mm thick).
Please ensure the mattress base is adjusted to the
lower position for sofa seat mode.
Assemble as per Cot mode but DO NOT attach drop
side panel as instructed on page 6 under ‘To attach
drop side panel’.

WARNING
This cot is designed to be used as a toddler bed when it is assembled
with the Childcare cot bed rails (sold seperately) model # 091203.
To purchase the bed rails, please contact cnp brands in Australia or
Wainhouse Distribution in New Zealand.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR CHILDCARE COT

This product has been designed and developed with safety,comfort
and functionality in mind. Please take the time to read this manual
carefully before using this product and keep it in a safe place for
future reference.To ensure the long-lasting use of your cot,wipe down
with a damp cloth and use a mild soap solution if necessary. Do not
use abrasive cleaners.Always store product in a clean dry place.
Always check parts regularly for tightness of screws, nuts and other
fasteners – tighten or replace if required. To maintain the safety of
your cot, seek prompt repairs for bent, torn, worn or broken parts.Use
only those parts and accessories approved by CNP Brands.
If the drop-side panel does not slide down smoothly, use a silicon
based spray; ensuring it penetrates the mechanism sufciently.
