Christie DS30 User manual

DS30
Brightest and Lightest for
Punchy Images
Christie’s DS30 is the brightest single-chip DLP projector on the
market. Delivering big-box brightness with SXGA resolution in an
ultra-portable package, the DS30 is the perfect high-end
presenter’s resource. The world’s first single-chip SXGA projector,
the DS30 gives you consistent, professional images, ideal for mid-
sized conference rooms, boardrooms, training rooms and high-
resolution 2D modeling design work such as bio-technical
applications, architectural and engineering CAD drawings.
The DS30 uses the latest Double Data Rate (DDR) DMD™ ,
weighs just 6.6lbs and features 3000 ANSI lumens and a super-
high contrast ratio of 1000:1 for crisp, punchy images and
detailed presentations in even the most challenging high-ambient
light environments. The sealed optical engine is a filter-less, all-
glass design, that eliminates dust and contamination. The DS30
is perfect for smoky or dusty environments such as bars or clubs.
Lightweight and flexible, the DS30 is easy to share and perfect
for unobtrusive installations. The compact design and whisper-
quiet 28dB operation lets the audience concentrate on the
presentation, not the technology. With front, rear and ceiling
mount options, vertical and horizontal keystone correction and
user-selectable aspect ratios, your presentation is perfectly
positioned, precisely the way you want it every time. If space is
limited, the DS30W comes pre-configured with a short-throw lens
offering a 1:1 throw ratio.
It’s easy to connect to virtually every computer or video source on
the market with the source compatibility of the DS30. There’s full
support of international TV standards including analog and digital
HDTV standards and digital and analog data sources. Set-up is
simple straight out of the box with an intuitive user interface and
a universal power supply. Featuring RS232 control and the option
of ChristieNET™ compatibility, running and monitoring the DS30
couldn’t be easier.
The single user-replaceable 250W UHP lamp gives you 2000 hours
of low-cost reliability that you can trust. The optional hard-sided
Christie shipping case protects your investment when on the road
while the included soft-sided carrying case lets you travel easily
between venues.
Portable, bright, powerful images – in one compact package.
