LÖSEN DER VORSPANNUNG
Falls Ihr Tragarm mit Vorspannung, also in horizontaler Position mit fest-
gestelltem Hebel geliefert wird, muss der Feststellhebel vor Beginn der
Montage gelöst werden. Zum gefahrlosen Entspannen den Tragarm mit
einer Hand mittig am Aluminiumteil festhalten und mit der anderen Hand
den Feststellhebel entriegeln. Der Tragarm entspannt sich und geht in die
oberste Montageposition.

MONTAGESCHRITTE
1. Die Verlängerung weist drei Abdeckungen auf. Diese sind für den
Transport jeweils mit einer Schraube befestigt. Die restlichen
Schrauben benden sich innerhalb des hinteren Schwenklagers.
Lösen Sie zunächst alle Deckel.

RELEASING THE PRETENTION
If your support arm is delivered with the locking lever engaged holding the
support arm in a horizontal position you have to release the pretention be-
fore the installation. Hold the support arm at the middle of the aluminium
part with one hand and disengage locking lever with the other hand. This
ensures an upward movement in a slow and even tempo and brings the
support arm into the highest mounting position.

ASSEMBLY STEPS
1. The extension arm has three covers. Those are mounted with only one
screw for transport purposes. The remaining screws are stored within
the rear swivel part. Start with removing all covers.

2. Installieren Sie den Tragarm an der vorgesehenen Stelle (Wandkanal,
Rundrohr, Normschiene etc.). Die Abbildung zeigt einen Adapter zur
Aufnahme am CIM Wandkanal. Bitte beachten Sie die Montageanlei-
tung der jeweiligen Anbindung.
3. Schieben Sie die Kabel nacheinander von unten durch die Öffnung des
hinteren Schwenklagers.
HINWEIS: Bei mehreren Kabeln immer das Kabel mit dem größten
Stecker zuerst durchführen.

4. Führen Sie nun das Kabel von oben durch die Öffnung in der Verlän-
gerung nach unten.
5. Schieben Sie das Kabel von unten durch das mittlere Schwenklager.

2. Mount the support arm to its designated place (wall channel, tube,
DIN rail etc.). The illustration shows a wall channel adapter. Please
refer to the corresponding assembly instruction for all other adapters.
3. Feed cables through rear swivel part from below one after the other.
NOTE: Always start with the largest cable rst if you have multiple
cables.

4. Feed the cable through the cut-out of the extension arm back from
above.
5. Push the cable through the middle swivel part from below.

6. Entfernen Sie die Aluminiumabdeckung mit Hilfe eines Schlitz-
schraubendrehers.
7. Bringen Sie den Tragarm in eine horizontale Position und sichern Sie
diese durch den Feststellhebel. Führen Sie die Kabel weiter durch den
festgestellten Tragarm.
HINWEIS: Je nach Steckergröße kann es erforderlich sein, die
Position des Tragarmes unter Verwendung des Fest-
stellhebels leicht anzupassen.
HINWEIS: Bei mehreren Kabeln immer das Kabel mit dem größten
Stecker zuerst durchführen.

6. Remove aluminium prole by using a slot head screwdriver.
7. Bring the support arm in a horizontal position and secure it by
engaging the locking lever. Feed the cable through the support arm.
NOTE: Depending on the plug size, it may be necessary to adjust
the position of the support arm slightly using the locking
lever.
NOTE: Always start with the largest cable rst if you have multiple
cables to thread through the support arm.

8. Bringen Sie den Tragarm in eine untere Position (ca. 30°) und führen
Sie die Kabel von unten durch das vordere Dreh-/ Neigelager.
HINWEIS: Bei mehreren Kabeln immer das Kabel mit dem größten
Stecker zuerst durchführen.
9. Bringen Sie den Tragarm wieder in die oberste Position.

Ab dieser Stelle haben Sie zwei Möglichkeiten die Kabel herauszuführen:
OPTION A: durch das vordere Dreh-/ Neigelager oder
OPTION B: unterhalb des vorderen Dreh-/ Neigelagers
Option A ist je nach Kabelquerschnitt bei der Verwendung von 1 - 4 Kabeln
möglich.
Option B ist aufgrund der einfacheren Verkabelung bei 3 oder mehreren
Kabeln zu empfehlen.

From this point there are two options for cable exits.
OPTION A: through the front swivel part or
OPTION B: underneath the front swivel part
Option A is suitable for 1 - 4 cables depending on the wire cross section.
Option B is recommended for easier cabling with 3 or multiple cables.

VERWENDUNG VON 1 - 4 KABELN, JE NACH KABELQUERSCHNITT
10.1 Drehen Sie das vordere Dreh-/ Neigelager um 180°, bis die Ausspa-
rungen übereinander stehen. Je nach Ausführung muss hierfür die
Monitoraufnahme in eine horizontale Position gebracht werden.
10.2 Legen Sie die Kabel wie dargestellt in die Aussparung.
ACHTUNG: Drücken Sie die Kabel ans hintere Ende des vorderen Dreh-
/ Neigelagers, um die Kabel beim anschließenden Verdre-
hen nicht einzuklemmen.
10.3 Schieben Sie die Kunststoffabdeckungen ein.
10.4 Montieren Sie den Deckel des vorderen Dreh-/ Neigelager mittels der
(2) M5x20 Schrauben. Ziehen Sie beide Schrauben fest.
10.5 Drehen Sie das vordere Dreh-/ Neigelager wieder in die Ausgangsposi-
tion zurück (Ausnahme: Philips Zapfenadapter). Klipsen Sie die Kunst-
stoffabdeckung am Kabelauslass ein.

SUITABLE FOR 1 - 4 CABLES, DEPENDING ON THE WIRE CROSS SECTION
10.1 Rotate the front swivel part 180° towards the rear end of the support
arm, so that the two cutaways line up. Vertical monitor adaptations
have to be positioned horizontally.
10.2 Push the cables into the front swivel part as shown.
WARNING: Push the cables all the way to the back of the front swivel
part in order to avoid cable pinching when turning the tilt
to the head.
10.3 Attach the little plastic cover.
10.4 Mount the top cover to the front swivel part by using the (2) M5x20
screws. Screw both securely.
10.5 Turn the front swivel part back to the starting position (except the
Philips table top mount). Attache the cable cover.

LEICHTE VERKABELUNG AB 3 KABEL
10.1 Drehen Sie das vordere Dreh-/ Neigelager um 180°, bis die Aussparun-
gen übereinander stehen. Je nach Ausführung muss hierfür die Moni-
toraufnahme in eine horizontale Position gebracht werden.
10.2 Führen Sie die Kabel von oben durch die Öffnung nach unten.
10.3 Schieben Sie die Kunststoffabdeckungen ein.
10.4 Montieren Sie den Deckel des vorderen Dreh-/ Neigelager mittels der
(2) M5x20 Schrauben. Ziehen Sie beide Schrauben fest.
10.5 Drehen Sie das vordere Dreh-/ Neigelager wieder in die Ausgangsposi-
tion zurück (Ausnahme: Philips Zapfenadapter). Klipsen Sie die Kunst-
stoffabdeckung am Kabelauslass ein.

EASY CABELING FOR MORE THAN 3 CABLES
10.1 Rotate the front swivel part 180° towards the rear end of the support

10.3 Attach the little plastic cover.

11. Bringen Sie den Tragarm in die unterste Position.
ACHTUNG: Sobald sich der Tragarm in der untersten Position bendet,
muss der Feststellhebel verriegelt werden.
12. Schieben Sie die Kunststoffabdeckung ein und legen Sie den Deckel
auf das hintere Schwenklager.

13. Bringen Sie den Tragarm in die oberste Position, bevor Sie den Deckel
des hinteren Schwenklagers mittels der (2) M5x20 Schrauben montie-
ren. Ziehen Sie beide Schrauben fest.
14. Stellen Sie zunächst sicher, dass die Kabel entlang des dafür vorge-
sehenen Kanals verlaufen.

11. Move the support arm to its lowest position.
WARNING: As soon as the support arm is in its lowest position the
locking lever has to be engaged.
12. Attach the little plastic cover and place the top cover onto the rear
swivel part.

13. Move the support arm to its highest position. Mount the top cover to
the rear swivel part using the (2) M5x20 screws. Screw both securely.
14. Make sure that the cables are placed along the intended cable channel.

15. Klipsen Sie anschließend die Aluminiumabdeckung in das Prol des
Tragarmes ein.
ACHTUNG: Um die Aluminiumabdeckung montieren zu können, müs-
sen die Kabel in dem dafür vorgesehenen Kanal verlaufen
(siehe Schritt 13)

OPTION A:
16.1 Montieren Sie den Kunststoffdeckel am vorderen Dreh-/ Neigelager
mittels der (4) M4x8 Linsenskopfschrauben. Ziehen Sie die Schrauben
fest.
16.2 Verschrauben Sie anschließend den Aluminiumdeckel am hinteren
Schwenklager mit den (3) M5x16 Zylinderkopfschrauben. Ziehen Sie
die Schrauben fest.

15. Clip the aluminium cover into the support arm.
WARNING: To mount the aluminium cover, the cables have to be
placed along the cable channel (see step 13)
OPTION A:
16.1 Mount the plastic cover cap to the front swivel part by using (4) M4x8
rounded head screws. Screw them securely.
16.2 Mount the aluminium cover cap to the rear swivel part by using (3)
M5x16 pan head screws and screw all securely.

OPTION B:
16.1 Montieren Sie den Kunststoffdeckel am vorderen Dreh-/ Neigelager
mittels der (4) M4x8 Linsenskopfschrauben. Ziehen Sie die Schrauben
fest.
ACHTUNG: Der Kunststoffdeckel weist eine Sollbruchstelle auf, um
einen Kabelauslass zu generieren (nur bei Option B vor-
handen).
16.2 Verschrauben Sie anschließend den Aluminiumdeckel am hinteren
Schwenklager mit den (3) M5x16 Zylinderkopfschrauben. Ziehen Sie
die Schrauben fest.

17. Montieren Sie am hinteren Schwenklager den Deckel Verlängerung
oben mittels der (2) M4x10 Linsenkopfschrauben.
18. Montieren Sie den Deckel Verlängerung unten mit (4) M4x8 Linsen-
kopfschrauben mit Bund und den Kunsstoffdeckel am vorderen Dreh-/
Neigelager mittels der (4) M4x8 Linsenkopfschrauben.

16.1 Mount the plastic cover cap to the front swivel part by using (4) M4x8
rounded head screws. Screw them securely.
WARNING: The plastic cover cap offers a snap-out section for cables
(only required for option B).
16.2 Mount the aluminium cover cap to the rear swivel part by using (3)
M5x16 pan head screws and screw all securely.

17. Mount the extension cover to the rear swivel part by using (2) M4x10
pan head screws.
18. Mount the extension cover by using (4) M4x8 pan head screws with
ange. Mount the plastic cover cap to the front swivel part by using
(4) M4x8 pan head screws.

19. Montieren Sie das ME-Gerät an der vorgesehenen Monitoraufnahme.
Die Abbildung zeigt eine VESA-Platte. Bitte beachten Sie die Montage-
anleitung der jeweiligen Monitoraufnahme.

EINSTELLUNG DER SCHWER-/ LEICHTGÄNGIGKEIT DER NEIGEFUNKTION
20. Die Schwer- bzw. Leichtgängigkeit der Neigefunktion lässt sich durch
Festziehen bzw. Lösen der beiden Innensechskantschrauben individuell
einstellen. Durch Festziehen beider Schrauben lässt sich die Neigung
komplett blockieren. Maximal erlaubtes Anziehmoment 8 Nm.
ACHTUNG: Bei zu starkem Anziehen der Schraube kann das Gussteil
bzw. Gewinde brechen und führt zu Funktionsverlust.
ACHTUNG: Beim Lösen beider Schrauben besteht die Gefahr des
Herunterklappens des ME-Gerätes.

19. Mount the ME equipment to its designated monitor adaptation. The
illustration shows a VESA plate. Please refer to the corresponding
assembly instruction for all other monitor adaptations.
TILT ADJUSTMENT
20. To adjust the overall tilt tension, tighten or loosen the both hex screws.
By tightening both of the screws the tilt function can be locked com-
pletely. Maximum permissible tightening torque is 8 Nm (70 in-lbs).
WARNING: In case of overtightening the screw the casting repectively
the threads may break which leads to loss of function.
WARNING: When loosening both hex screws the ME equipment will
tilt forward.

Lösen Sie Zylinderstifte auf beiden Seiten.
Ziehen Sie als erstes die Zylinderstifte auf der
linken Seite an. Siehe Montageanleitung Adapter
vertikaler / horizontaler Wandkanal.

schief auf der VESA-Montageplatte montiert.
Lösen Sie die 4 x M4 Schrauben, richten Sie das
ME-Gerät aus und ziehen Sie die (4) Schrauben
wieder fest. Beachten Sie, dass das ME-Gerät
mit M4 Schrauben befestigt ist, die Aufnahme-
bohrung jedoch größer ist. Dadurch muss das
ME-Gerät exakt ausgerichtet werden.

PROBLEMBEHANDLUNG
Problem Problem caused by Remedy
ME equipment does not appear level or parallel
to oor
Channel not even/ straight Adjust wall channel or reinstall channel.
Adapter and rear pivot part are not tightened
completely.
Please check that there is no crack or movement
between these parts. Tighten the screws and
make sure that adapter and console are pulled
tight with a torque moment of 25 Nm.
Adapter not parallel to wall channel: (4) cylinder
bolts are pulled tight without having adjusted
the adapter within the channel.
Remove cylinder bolts on both sides. Tighten
rst the cylinder pins on the left side. See
assembly instruction adapter vertical/ horizontal
wall channel.
Monitor adaption VESA / at panel are not
mounted parallel to oor.
Loosen the (4) M4 screws, adjust the ME equip-
ment and pull the (4) screws tight again. Make
sure that the ME equipment appears level or
parallel to the oor.
