Safety
- Always review current legislation concerning use of mobile phones
and hands-free equipment when driving.
- Do not expose the handsfree to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
- Do not expose the handsfree to damp, uids or high humidity.
- Never use the handsfree in dusty or dirty environments.
- Never attempt to disassemble the handsfree or any of its parts.
This product may only be repaired by qualied service personnel.
- The internal chargeable battery may only be replaced by qualied
service personnel.
- Only use the charger provided or one recommended.
- The accompanying travel-charger is for use indoor only.

Getting started
Charging
Using the in-car charger
1. Turn the device on by pulling out the microphone arm.
2. Connect the accompanying in-car charger to the car’s cigarette
lighter socket and then to the charger input on the unit.
3. The status indicator on the device ashes red when charging and
goes out when the device is charged.
4. Always charge the handsfree unit three hours before its rst use.
Using the travel charger
1. Turn the device on by pulling out the microphone arm.
2. Connect the accompanying travel charger to a wall-socket and then
to the charger connection on the unit.
3. The status indicator on the device ashes red when charging and
goes out when the device is charged.
4. Always charge the handsfree unit three hours before its rst use.
Attention!
- The handsfree unit should be charged when the status indicator be-
gins ashing between red and blue and as an audio signal is heard
off repeatedly.
- The handsfree unit is fully-charged after approx. three hours.
- The status indicator goes out when the device is charged.
- Never charge the unit for more than 24 hours!

Turning the handsfree unit on and off
Turn the unit on by pulling out the
microphone arm to its fully extended
position. An audio signal is given off
once the unit is switched on at the
same time as the status indicator be-
gins ashing blue every ve seconds.
Turn the unit off by pushing the micro-
phone arm back in completely. The
status indicator stops ashing once
the device is switched off.
Conguring the mobile phone with the handsfree unit
(for the rst time)
Before the mobile phone and handsfree unit are used together for the
rst time they have to be paired. Once this is done the connection is
stored in each unit respectively.
Attention.
Read the mobile phone manual for help with Bluetooth functions.
1. Place the mobile phone and bluetooth handsfree less than a metre
away from each other.
2. Activate the mobile phone`s bluetooth function in (if the mobile
phone already has congured Proles the Handsfree prole is
recommended instead of the Headset-prole).
3. Turn the handsfree unit on.
4. Choose to search for a new bluetooth unit in the mobile phone’s
menu. The mobile phone will search for all the units within a 10
metre radius and will show them on a list.
5. Select to connect to unit HF009 and write the password, 8888,
when the password is asked for in the display.

6. The connection is now ready. After conguration certain mobile
phones will automatically connect to the handsfree unit.
7. If the telephone is not connected automatically, press the multi-func-
tion button once [ 6 ] on the handsfree unit or select to connect to
HF009 in the list of detected units in the mobile phone.
8. When the connection has been made the status indicator on the
handsfree unit changes to blue at the same time as the mobile
phone indicates* a Bluetooth connection in the display.
* May differ between different manufacturer and models.
Connect/disconnect from the handsfree unit
Disconnecting from the handsfree unit
The mobile phone can be connected when it is within range of the
handsfree unit. Press the multifunction button [ 6 ] on the handsfree unit
to connect the units. The status indicator changes to blue.
Disconnecting from the mobile phone
Select connect to HF009 in the list of detected units in the mobile phone
to connect the units. The status indicator changes to blue but glows.
Disconnecting
Disconnect from the connection by pushing the microphone arm in or
select disconnect from connection in the mobile phone’s menu.

Using the product
Attention: The following functions may differ slightly depending on the
mobile phone’s manufacturer and model.
Receiving calls
On receiving calls the display shows the incoming telephone number.
Press the multifunction button once to answer. ACTIVE CALL is
shown in the display during the current call.
Rejecting calls
You can refuse an incoming call by pressing the multifunction button
twice.
Ending calls
End current call by pressing the multifunction button once.
Answering call waitings
During a current call you can receive or refuse a call waiting. The
display shows the current call’s telephone number.
Refuse call waiting:
Call waiting is automatically refused if the button is not pressed after 8
seconds or by pressing the multifunction button twice.
Answering call waiting and ending current calls:
Press the multifunction button once to answer the call waiting and end
the current call.
Answering call waiting and parking current calls:
Press and hold the multifunction button for two seconds to park
current calls and answer call waiting. CALL HOLD is shown in the
display when a call has been parked.
Press the multifunction button again for two seconds in order to
resume the parked call.
Moving the call to the mobile phone
The call can be moved to the mobile phone at anytime. Press and
hold the multifunction button for three seconds in order to move
the current call to the mobile phone. To move the call back, press the
multifunction button once.

Phoning last dialled numbers
In standby, press the multifunction button twice in order to phone the
last dialed number. The display shows ”DIALING”.
Voice dialing
In standby, press the multifunction button once to activate voice dial,
on the mobile phone. The handsfree unit delivers a short tone and the
display shows Voice dial.
Record a voice command you previously recorded on the mobile phone.
The mobile phone will now automatically dial the desired number.
(this function works provided the phone supports voice dialling)
Muting the microphone (secrecy)
To turn the microphone off temporarily during the current call, press the
volume up and volume down buttons once at the same time. A short
tone is heard and the microphone is muted. Press the volume up and
volume down buttons again in order to resume using the microphone.
Adjusting speaker volume
Press the volume up and volume down buttons down to adjust the
speaker volume. The display shows the current volume level.
Private call
Connect the accompanying earphones to the input when you wish to
talk undisturbed. The speaker output from the unit’s internal speaker is
automatically disconnected when the earphone is connected.
Care and maintenance
Clean the unit with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Never use cleaning uid
or strong solutions.
Disposal
Follow local ordinances when disposing of this product. If you are
unsure about how to dispose of this product contact your municipality.

Att komma igång
Laddning
Laddning med billaddare
1. Slå på enheten genom att dra ut mikrofonarmen.
2. Anslut den medföljande billaddaren till bilens cigarettändaruttag och
sedan till laddanslutningen på enheten.
3. Statusindikatorn på apparaten lyser med rött sken när laddning
pågår och slocknar när apparaten är fulladdad.
4. Ladda alltid handsfree-enheten 3 timmar före första användning.
Laddning med reseladdare
1. Slå på enheten genom att dra ut mikrofonarmen.
2. Anslut den medföljande reseladdaren till ett vägguttag och sedan till
laddanslutningen på enheten.
3. Statusindikatorn på apparaten lyser med rött sken när laddning
pågår och slocknar när apparaten är fulladdad.
4. Ladda alltid handsfree-enheten 3 timmar före första användning.
Obs!
- Handsfree-enheten bör laddas när statusindikatorn blinkar skiftande
med rött och blått sken samtidigt som en ljudsignal avges med
jämna mellanrum.
- Handsfree-enheten är fulladdad efter ca 3 timmar.
- Statusindikatorn slocknar när enheten är fulladdad.
- Ladda aldrig enheten längre än 24 timmar!

Slå av och på handsfree-enheten
Slå på enheten genom att dra ut
mikrofonarmen helt till utdraget läge.
En ljudsignal avges när enheten slås
på samtidigt som statusindikatorn
övergår i ett blått blinkande sken var
femte sekund.
Slå av enheten genom att skjuta in
mikrofonarmen helt. Statusindikatorn
slocknar när apparaten slås av.
Kongurera mobiltelefonen med handsfree-enheten
(första gången)
Innan mobiltelefonen och handsfree-enheten används tillsammans för
första gången måste de ”paras ihop” mot varandra. När detta väl är gjort
sparas anslutningen i respektive enhet.
Obs! Se mobiltelefonens instruktionsbok för hjälp om dess bluetooth-
funktioner.
1. Placera mobiltelefonen och handsfree-enheten på ett avstånd inom
en meter från varandra.
2. Aktivera bluetooth-funktionen i mobiltelefonen (om mobiltelefonen
har färdigkongurerade ”Proler” rekommenderas Handsfree-
prolen istället för Headset-prolen).
3. Slå på handsfree-enheten.
4. Välj att söka efter ny bluetooth-enhet i mobiltelefonens meny.
Mobiltelefonen kommer att söka efter alla enheter inom 10 meter
och visa dem i en lista.

5. Välj att ansluta till enhet ”HF009” och skriv in lösenordet ”8888” när
frågan om lösenord kommer upp.
6. Anslutningen är nu klar. Efter kongureringen ansluter vissa
mobiltelefoner automatiskt till handsfree-enheten.
7. Om telefonen inte ansluts automatiskt, tryck en gång på
multifunktionsknappen på handsfree-enheten eller välj att ansluta
till HF009 i listan över funna enheter i mobiltelefonen.
8. Statusindikatorn på handsfree-enheten övergår till blått fast sken
samtidigt som mobiltelefonen indikerar* bluetooth-anslutning i
displayen när anslutningen skapats.
* Kan skilja sig mellan olika fabrikat och modeller.
Ansluta/koppla från handsfree-enheten
Ansluta från handsfree-enheten
Mobiltelefonen kan anslutas när den kommer inom handsfree-enhetens
täckningsområde. Tryck på multifunktionsknappen på handsfree-
enheten för att koppla ihop enheterna. Statusindikatorn övergår till blått
fast sken.
Ansluta från mobiltelefonen
Välj att ansluta till HF009 i listan över funna enheter i mobiltelefonen för
att koppla ihop enheterna. Statusindikatorn övergår till blått fast sken.
Koppla från anslutningen
Koppla ifrån anslutningen genom att skjuta in mikrofonarmen helt eller
välj att koppla från anslutningen i mobiltelefonens meny.

Montering
Montering i bil
1. Fäst det medföljande
solskyddsfästet på bilens
solskydd enligt g. 1.
2. Sätt fast handsfree-
enheten i solskyddsfästet
genom att skjuta enheten
nedåt enligt g. 2.
3. Lossa justerskruven och
justera enheten i höjdled
enligt g 3 och 4. Dra åt
justerskruven när önskad
vinkel uppnåtts.
4. Dra ut mikrofonarmen för
att slå på enheten (g. 5).
Användning hemma/kontoret
1. Fäll ut bordsstödet på
handsfree-enhetens baksida
och placera enheten på ett
plant underlag.

Obs! Följande funktioner kan skilja sig lite beroende på mobiltelefonens
fabrikat och modell.
Ta emot samtal
Vid inkommande samtal visar displayen inkommande telefonnummer.
Tryck en gång på multifunktionsknappen för att svara. ”ACTIVE
CALL” visas i displayen under pågående samtal.
Neka samtal
Du kan neka inkommande samtal genom att trycka två gånger på
multifunktionsknappen.
Avsluta samtal
Avsluta pågående samtal genom att trycka en gång på
multifunktionsknappen.
Besvara väntande samtal
Du kan under pågående samtal ta emot eller neka ett väntande samtal.
Displayen visar det väntande samtalets telefonnummer.
Neka väntande samtal
Väntande samtal nekas automatiskt om ingen knapp trycks in på 8 sekun-
der eller genom att trycka två gånger på multifunktionsknappen.
Besvara väntande samtal och avsluta pågående samtal
Tryck en gång på multifunktionsknappen för att besvara det väntande
samtalet och avsluta det pågående samtalet.
Besvara väntande samtal och parkera pågående samtal
Tryck och håll in multifunktionsknappen i två sekunder för att parkera
pågående samtal och besvara det väntande samtalet. ”CALL HOLD”
visas i displayen när ett samtal har parkerats.
Tryck åter multifunktionsknappen i två sekunder för att återuppta det
parkerade samtalet.
