1. Safety
• Make sure you have read and understood theinstallation instructions in their entirety.
• The wall or surface to which thebracket will be secured must be capable of sup-
porting theentire weight of thebracket and theTV set.
• Always use thecorrect tools. Twopeople should assist each other when mounting
aheavy TV set on thewall bracket. Ifyou attempt to mount aheavy TV set on your
own, damage and injury may result.
• Pay attention to themounting and ventilation recommendations in theinstruction
manual for theTV set.
• Maximum load: 40 kg.
2. Description
• Wall bracket for 32- to 55-inch TV sets.
• Slim aluminium wall bracket which lets you install your TV set very close to thewall.
• Bolt-fitting to TV set 100–600 mm c/c horizontally (VESA standard 100–600).
• The lower spacers are secured only to theTV set and must not be bolted to thewall.
• Width 656 mm.

4. Mountingthe wall rail
Hints on positioning
Do not position theTV set where sunlight would fall on thescreen and cause glare.
The TV set should be positioned so that themiddle of thescreen is at thesame height
as your eyes when you are sitting. Check therecommended viewing distance in
theinstruction manual for theTV set.
4.1 Preparations
Prepare suitable tools:
• Screwdriver
• Power drill (hammer drill for drilling in concrete)
• Drill bits (3.5 mm and 10 mm)
• Socket wrench (10 mm)
4.2 Mounting on awall of brick, concrete, etc
Note! Make sure that thewall to which you are fixing thebracket can support
theweight of theTV set. Ifyou are unsure, consult an expert.
1. Choosea suitable wall for thewall rail.
2. Placethe wall rail (1) on thewall and level
it, preferably with aspirit level.
3. Usinga pen or pencil, mark up theholes
to be drilled, using thewall rail as
atemplate. Beforeyou start drilling, make
sure that theholes are level.
4. Usea hammer drill fitted with a10 mm
masonry bit and drill holes at least 60 mm
deep at themarks.
Important: The drilled holes must be
deep enough to take thescrews (K).
5. Removedust from theholes and push or
tap theplugs (L) fully home into theholes.
6. Positionthe wall rail with thenotches on
thetop edge (see illustration).
7. Besure to tighten thescrews properly,
bearing in mind thematerial of thewall.
Checkthat thewall rail is securely fixed
by carefully applying to it aweight at least
equivalent to theweight of theTV set
before mounting the actual TV set.

4.3 Mounting thebracket on atimber studwork wall
Note! Make sure that thewall to which you are fixing thebracket can support
theweight of theTV set. Ifyou are unsure, consult an expert.
1. Choosea suitable wall which can support
theweight.
2. Locatethe upright timbers (“studs”) in
thewall.
3. Holdthe wall rail against thewall so that
it spans two studs. Usingthe wall rail as
atemplate, mark positions for theholes
to be drilled. Thesemust be central
on thestuds. Ifit is only possible to fix
thewall rail to one stud, position thewall
rail so that thecentre of thewall bracket
is central on that stud.
4. Usinga 3.5 mm drill bit, drill pilot holes at
themarks you made.
5. Positionthe wall rail with thenotches on
thetop edge (see illustration).
6. Fixthe wall rail using thewoodscrews (K)
together thewashers (M) in thedrilled holes.
7. Besure to tighten thewoodscrews
properly, bearing in mind thematerial
of thewall. Checkthat thewall rail is
securely fixed by carefully applying to
it aweight equivalent to theweight of
theTV set, before mounting theTV set.

5. Fittingaluminium rings and wall supports to
theTV set
Warning!
• Avoid laying theTV set down with thescreen facing downwards. Ifit is absolutely
necessary to do this, lay theTV set on ablanket or similar to protect thescreen.
• Never tilt aplasma TV more than theamount recommended in theinstruction manual.
• Insert thebolts by hand first. Stopimmediately if you feel resistance.
Removethe bolt and find out what is wrong.
1. Checkthe back of theTV set. Ifthe back is flat, you can use theshorter bolts.
Ifthe back is curved, use thelonger bolts together with thespacers (8 or J).
Usesome of thebolts* supplied to secure thealuminium rings (2) to
theback of theTV set.
2. Boltthe wall support (3) into thelower bolt holes of theTV set.
3. Checkthat there is space for thecable connections on theTV set and that
thecables are not bent too much when mounting theTV set on thebracket.
*Note: Several types of bolt are supplied, since different makes of TV set have different
fixings. Ifyou are uncertain, check theinstruction manual for theTV set. Thisusually
states maximum and minimum lengths for thebolts.

6. Hangingthe TV set on thewall rail
Take care when hanging theTV set on thewall rail. Getsomeone to help you.
1. Thealuminium rings (2) fitted to theTV set can be pressed down through
thenotches in thetop (a) of thewall rail or from theside (b) (when mounting from
theside, thealuminium ring can be pressed in through theside fitting).
2. Whenmounting from thetop, it is usually possible to bring down one of
thealuminium rings through one of thenotches in thewall rail and then pull theTV
set sideways until theother aluminium ring is directly in front of theother notch.
3. Connectthe cables to theTV set, checking that there is enough space for them.
4. Makesure that thewall supports (3) do not damage thewall.
7. Disposal
Follow local ordinances when disposing of this product. Ifyou are unsure about how
to dispose of this product contact your municipality.
