4. Mountingthe wall rail
Hints on positioning
Do not position theTV set where sunlight would fall on thescreen and cause glare.
The TV set should be positioned so that themiddle of thescreen is at thesame height
as your eyes when you are sitting. Check therecommended viewing distance in
theinstruction manual for theTV set.
4.1 Preparations
Prepare suitable tools:
• Screwdriver
• Power drill (hammer drill for drilling in concrete)
• Drill bits (3.5 mm and 10 mm)
• Socket wrench (10 mm)
4.2 Mounting on awall of brick, concrete, etc
Note! Make sure that thewall to which you are fixing thebracket can support
theweight of theTV set. Ifyou are unsure, consult an expert.
1. Choosea suitable wall for thewall rail.
2. Placethe wall rail (1) on thewall and level
it, preferably with aspirit level.
3. Usinga pen or pencil, mark up theholes
to be drilled, using thewall rail as
atemplate. Beforeyou start drilling, make
sure that theholes are level.
4. Usea hammer drill fitted with a10 mm
masonry bit and drill holes at least 60 mm
deep at themarks.
Important: The drilled holes must be
deep enough to take thescrews (K).
5. Removedust from theholes and push or
tap theplugs (L) fully home into theholes.
6. Positionthe wall rail with thenotches on
thetop edge (see illustration).
7. Besure to tighten thescrews properly,
bearing in mind thematerial of thewall.
Checkthat thewall rail is securely fixed
by carefully applying to it aweight at least
equivalent to theweight of theTV set
before mounting the actual TV set.
