CLEANCRAFT vacuum cleaner
Read the operating manual thoroughly before com-
missioning the machine.
It gives you information about t e proper commissioning,
intended use and safe and efficient operation and main-
tenance of your vacuum cleaner.
T e operating manual is part of t e vacuum cleaner
package. Always keep t is operating manual in t e loca-
tion w ere your vacuum cleaner is being operated. All lo-
cal accident prevention regulations and general safety
instructions for t e operating range of your vacuum
cleaner must also be complied wit .

Tips and recommendations
It is necessary to observe t e safety notes written in
t ese operating instructions in order to reduce t e risk of
personal injuries and damages to property.
2.2 Obligations of the operating company
of the operator
T e operating company is t e person w o operates t e
vacuum cleaner for business or commercial reasons by
erself, or leaves it to a t ird party for use or application,
and w o bears t e legal product responsibility for t e
protection of t e user, t e staff or for t ird parties.
Obligations of the operating company
If t e vacuum cleaner is used for commercial purposes,
t e operating company of t e vacuum cleaner must com-
ply wit t e legal working safety regulations. T erefore,
t e safety notes in t is operating manual, as well as t e
safety, accident prevention and environment protection
regulations applying for t e area of application of t e
vacuum cleaner must be met. T e following applies in
particular:
- T e operating company must be informed about
t e applying industrial safety regulations and fur-
t er analyse azards resulting from t e special
working conditions at t e place of use of t e vac-
uum cleaner. S e must implement t ese in form of
operating manuals for t e operation of t e vacuum
cleaner.
- During t e entire lifetime t e vacuum cleaner, t e
operating company must verify w et er t e operat-
ing manuals prepared by er correspond to t e
current status of t e regulations, and must adapt
t ese if necessary.
- T e operating company must unambiguously regu-
late and determine t e responsibilities for installa-
tion, operation, troubles ooting, maintenance and
cleaning.
- T e operating company must ensure t at all per-
sons w o work wit t e vacuum cleaner, ave read
and understood t is manual. Furt ermore s e
must instruct t e staff in regular intervals and in-
form t em about t e azards.
- T e operator must provide t e necessary protec-
tive equipment to t e staff and order t e use of t e
necessary protective equipment in a binding way.
Furt ermore t e operating company is responsible to
keep t e vacuum cleaner always in a tec nically flawless
state. T us, t e following applies:
- T e operator must ensure t at t e maintenance in-
tervals described in t is manual are kept.
- T e operator must ave all safety devices c ecked
regularly for t eir good working order and t eir in-
tegrity.

2.3 Requirements to staff
Qualifications
T e different tasks described in t is manual represent
different requirements to t e qualification of t e persons
entrusted wit t ese tasks.
Only persons reliable working procedures can be ex-
pected from, are allowed to perform all works. Persons
t e responsiveness of w ic is affected by e. g. drugs,
alco ol or medication, are not allowed to work wit t e
mac ine.
T e qualifications of t e personnel for t e different tasks
are mentioned below:
Operator
T e operator is instructed by t e operating company
about t e assigned tasks and possible risks in case of
improper be aviour. Any tasks w ic need to be per-
formed beyond t e operation in t e standard mode must
only be performed by t e operator if it is indicated in
t ese instructions and if t e operating company expres-
sively commissioned t e operator.
Electrically qualified person
Electrically qualified person is due to t eir professional
training, knowledge and experience as well as knowl-
edge of t e relevant standards and regulations, in a posi-
tion to carry out work on t e electrical systems and to in-
dependently recognize and avoid possible dangers.
Qualified personnel
Due to t eir professional training, knowledge and experi-
ence as well as t eir knowledge of relevant regulations
t e specialist staff is able to perform t e assigned tasks
and to recognise and avoid any possible dangers t em-
selves.
Manufacturer
Certain works may only be performed by specialist per-
sonnel of t e manufacturer. Ot er personnel is not au-
t orized to perform t ese works. Please contact our cus-
tomer service for t e execution of all arising work.
2.4 Personal protective equipment
T e personal protective equipment serves to protect per-
sons against impairments of safety and ealt w ile
working. T e staff member as to wear personal protec-
tive equipment w ile performing different tasks on and
wit t e mac ine w ic are indicated in t e individual
paragrap s of t ese instructions.
T e personal protective equipment is explained in t e
following paragrap :
2.5 General safety regulations
Please note the following:
Use t e safety devices and fasten t em securely. Never
work wit out safety equipment and keep it in good
working order.
- Keep t e mac ine and your work environment
clean at all times. Ensure sufficient illumination.
- T e vacuum cleaner's design must not be
c anged; t e mac ine must not be used for work
not intended by t e manufacturer.
- Never work under t e influence of illnesses t at im-
pair concentration, drugs, alco ol or medication.
- Do not use t e mains cable to pull t e plug out of
t e socket. Protect t e cable against eat, oil and
s arp edges.
- Malfunctions impair t e safety, please t is rectify
immediately.
- Protect t e vacuum cleaner against umidity (risk
of s ort circuit!).
- Before using t e vacuum cleaner make sure t at
no parts are damaged. Replace damaged parts im-
mediately to avoid sources of danger!
- Never overload t e mvacuum cleaner! Working
wit in t e stated performance limits is better and
safer.
- Use only genuine spare parts and accessories to
avoid potential risks and risk of accident.

Danger in case of insufficient quali-
fication of the staff!
Insufficiently qualified persons cannot estimate t e
risks w ile using t e vacuum cleaner and expose
t emselves and ot ers to t e danger of severe or
let al injuries.
- Have all works only performed by qualified persons.
- Keep insufficiently qualified persons out of t e work-
ing area.
Protective gloves
T e protective gloves serve to protect t e ands
against s arp components as well as against fric-
tion, abrasions or deep injuries.
Safety boots
Safety boots protect t e feet from being crus ed, fall-
ing parts and slipping over on slippery ground.
Protective clothes
Protective clot es are made of a tig tly fitted fabric
wit out t e protruding parts of low tear strengt .

2.6 Safety labels on the vacuum cleaner
T e following safety labels and instructions are attac ed
to t e vacuum cleaner (Fig. 1) and must be observed.

t is can cause errors, personal injury and material dam-
age. T e safety symbols attac ed to t e mac ine must
not be removed. Damaged safety symbols must be re-
placed immediately.
As soon as t e signs are not clearly visible and compre-
ensible at first glance, t e mac ine must be stopped
until new signs ave been attac ed.

3 Intended use
T e vacuum cleaner is exclusively intended for t e suc-
tion of t e as , sand and ot er dirt, and w en using a
blowing function e.g. to blow off of t e surfaces. T e va-
cuum cleaner must not be operated in t e potentially ex-
plosive environments.
T e proper use also includes observing all indications in
t ese operating instructions. Any use beyond t e proper
use or any ot er use is regarded as misuse. Under no
circumstances may personnel be lifted.
Stürmer Masc inen GmbH accepts no liability for any
constructional or tec nical modifications carried out on
t e electric vacuum cleaner.
Any claims due to damages because of not intended use
are excluded.

rous dust. do not vacuum any soot, flammable,
explosive or poisonous substances and liquids. T e
maximum permissible temperature for absorbing
substances is 40 ° C / 104 ° F.

Transport, packaging, storage
5 Transport, packaging, storage
5.1 Transport
C eck t e vacuum cleaner on delivery for any visible
transportation damage. If you notice any damage to t e
device please report t is immediately to t e carrier or
dealer.
5.2 Packaging
All used packaging materials and packaging aids are re-
cyclable and s ould be taken to a materials recycling de-
pot to be disposed of.
T e delivery packaging is made of cardboard, so please
dispose carefully by aving it c opped up and given to
t e recycling collection.
T e film is made of polyet ylene (PE) and t e cus ioned
parts of polystyrene (PS). Deliver t ese substances to a
collection point for recyclable materials or to t e waste
disposal company w ic looks after your region.
5.3 Storage
T e vacuum cleaner s ould be stored in a dry, frost-free
environment.

7 Before first use
Suction function:
Insert t e tube connector into t e vacuum cleaner and
t en rotate it clockwise until it locked.
Hand t e tube connector, rotate it counter-clockwise until
exsert t e tube.
Blowing function:
Insert t e link pipe of t e suction ose in t e blowing
mout (Pos.1, Fig. 3) and rotate it clockwise until it loc-
ked.

T ere is a risk of fatal injury from contact wit live
parts. Electrical components w ic are switc ed on
can carry out uncontrolled movements and cause
serious injuries.
- Disconnect t e plug before starting adjustments to
t e vacuum cleaner.
W RNING!
T e device must be correctly installed before use. It
must be c ecked t at t e filter elements are moun-
ted correctly and t at t ey function correctly.
T e device s ould only be operated, mounted, repai-
red and transported on a stable, flat surface.
W RNING!
Before you andle t e switc ed-off vacuum cleaner
unplug t e mains plug.
Regularly c eck t e power cable and plug for
damage (insulation, etc.). A damaged cable must be
replaced before furt er use of t e vacuum cleaner.
T e replacement of a defective power cable must be
carried out by t e tec nical service or by qualified
personnel.
W en using t e extension cord, make sure t at it as
t e same cable dimension as t e power cord of t e
device. Avoid getting t e cable in contact wit t e
liquids or conductive surfaces.
TTENTION!
Before t e unit is put into operation, make sure t at
t e operating voltage indicated on t e type plate is
t e same as t e supply voltage avaible.

Care, maintenance and repair
8.1 Start and stopping
Start
- Insert t e power plug into a suitable power socket
- Turn t e ON/OFF switc on t e Position „1“.
Stopping
- To switc off t e device turn t e ON/OFF switc on
t e Position „0“ and disconnect t e power cable.
- By disconnecting always pull on t e plug, never on
t e power cable.
8.2 Emptying the tank
Step 1: C eck t at t e device is s ut-off and dis-
connected from t e mains supply.
Step 2: Open t e clamping ook and remove t e tank
cap.
Step 3: Remove t e filters and empty t e tank.
Step 4: Put t e filters back on t e tank. Make sure t at
t e filters correctly and tig t seat.
Step 5: Put back t e tank cap (c eck t e rig t position!)
Close t e clamping ook. C eck t e tig t clo-
sing of t e cap.
8.3 Controlling of the seal
Over time, t e quality of t e seal may deteriorate as a re-
sult of t e aging or damage. T is leads to a decrease in
t e suction power. We recommend regularly c ecking
t e clamping ooks, flexible suction oses and seals for
a perfect function.
Clean all seals after completing work. T e fouling can
prevent a correct function and cause t e damage.
C eck t at t e edgings of t e tank are not damaged.
9 Care, maintenance and repair
9.1 Care by cleaning

T e vacuum cleaner must always be kept in a clean con-
dition.
Always empty t e tank and clean t e vacuum cleaner
after t e vacuuming
Clean all plastics and paint surfaces. on t e vacuum cle-
aner wit a lig tly moistened clot .
Keep t e ventilation slots of t e engine clean to ensure
adequate cooling.

consequential damage can occur.
Use protective gloves!
Wear t e suitable protective gloves by t e cleaning to
protect against injury from c ips.

9.2 Cleaning of the filter
Step 1: Loose t e filter.
Step 2: Clear t e dust inside t e tank and clean t e filter
wit a brus (Fig. 6).
Step 3: Put t e filter back to original position.

9.3 Maintenance and repair
If t e vacuum cleaner is not functioning properly, contact
a specialised dealer or our customer service. Please find
t e contact data on c apter 1.2 Customer service.
10 Disposal, recycling of used devices
Please take care in your own interest and in t e interest of
t e environment t at all component parts of t e mac ine
are only disposed of in t e intended and permitted way.

Decommissioning
Immediately decommission disused mac ines in order to
avoid later misuse and endangering of t e environment
or personal safety.
Step 1: Eliminate all environmentally azardous operat-
ing materials from t e used device.
Step 2: If required, disassemble t e mac ine into easy-
to- andle and usable components and parts.
Step 3: Dispose of mac ine components and operating
materials by t e disposal c annels provided.
10.2 Waste disposal of electric equipment
Please note t at electrical devices contain a variety of
recyclable materials as well as environmentally armful
components.
You contributes to t at t ese components are disposed
of separately and properly. In case of doubt, please con-
tact your municipal waste disposal.
As necessary, a specialized waste disposal company can
elp be used for t e treatment.
10.3 Disposal of lubricants
Remove any leaking, used or excessive grease at t e lu-
bricating points.
Disposal notes for used lubricants are available from t e
manufacturer of t e lubricants. If necessary, request t e
product-specific data s eets.
10.4 Disposal of the filter
T e filters are made of t e environmentally friendly ma-
terials. You can dispose t e filter in t e normal ouse-
old waste, as long as it contains no dirt pro ibited in t e
ouse old waste.

- Maintenance and repair works must only be perfor-
med by specialists.
- Use only original spare parts in case of a repair.
