Attention:
- Avoid installing this unit in places exposed to direct sunlight or close to heat radiating appliances
such as electric heaters, on top of other stereo equipment that radiates heat, places lacking
ventilation or dusty areas, places subject or constant vibration and/or humid or moist areas.
- Do not attempt to clean this unit ith chemical solvents as this might damage the finish. Use a clean
dry cloth.
- Before turning on the po er, make certain that the connecting cords and po er cord are properly
installed.
- When moving the set, be sure to first disconnect the po er cord and remove cords connected to
other equipment.

1 Introduction
This manual describes ho to use the DD3.0, an advanced but easy-to-use DAB/DAB+ connected audio
system ith the follo ing modes:
Its main functions are as belo :
 Music player allo ing easy navigation and playback through a USB stored library of music files
including AAC+, Real audio*, MP3 and WMA,
 DAB/DAB+ digital radio ith a ide choice of channels and digital quality sound broadcast free-to-air,
 FM ith RDS (Radio Data System),
 iPod / iPhone dock ith iPod control/recharge and audio output ( ith authentication coprocessor for
maximum compatibility),
 Aux in for external music sources such as MP3 players.
DD3.0 also provides the follo ing features:
 1.77” TFT 65K Color Display for easy control and clear information display, ith up to six lines of text
plus status icons,
 Clock ith auto-update capability and dual independent alarms,
 Sleep/snooze
 Auto Power-Off
 Volume Level from 0~30
 8 ohms Speaker 3Wx2 Output with EQ

1.2 Infrastructure Requirements
The follo ing infrastructure must be ready to fully utilise the functionality available on DD3.0.
 a po er source (100-240 V mains supply),
 a music library stored on a USB mass storage device (for Music player modes),
 an Apple iPod (for iPod mode, any model),
 an external audio source (for Aux in mode).

3 Detail of Key Function
3.1 POWER ON
To Po er-On/Off the device (Clock mode sho s hen it’s po ered-off). This Key is shared ith
“Mode”. Long press to Po er-On/Off the device, Short press to s itch to “Mode”.
3.2 MODE
This is the function s itching Key. Its default mode is DAB and then FM  iPhone  USB  AUX  DAB.
The last mode it’s set is memorized in system hen the device is po ered-off.
3.3 SNOOZE & SLEEP
(1) Only effect hen alarm rings. When the alarm rings (under any mode), press the
SNOOZE once, alarm ill ring once again after 9 minutes. Alarm ill be disable automatically after
SNOOZE 10 times.
(2) The time period of the alarm ring is 1 hour. If the alarm rings for an hour ithout any
prompts, alarm disable itself after ard automatically.
(3) Under the DAB/FM/iPhone/USB/AUX Mode: Short press [SLEEP] to sho the current
value, first it displays 10 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 90 OFF 10 20 30 ... value increases each
time it’s pressed, the value increases by 10
3.4 T NING DOWN
1) It goes do n to next stepping under DAB mode
2) It goes do n to next stepping under FM mode
3) It uses to decrease the timing of the time clock
3.5 T NING P
1) It goes up to next stepping under DAB mode
2) It goes up to next stepping under FM mode
3) It uses to increase the timing of the time clock
3.6 SCAN & TIME SET
1) Under the DAB mode, short press this key to speed scan stations (stations that’s preset by customer)

and save it, long press this key for auto full channel scan and save it.
2) Under the FM mode, long press this key for auto scan and save it.
3) Under STANDBY mode, long press (TIME SET) goes into the clock setting, then use [TUNING
DOWN/UP] button to increase or decrease the timing. Press the [TUNING DOWN/UP] or remain still
for about 10 seconds, clock is set.
3.7 SKIP- / CHANNEL-
1) To increase or to decrease the timing hen setting the alarm
2) Short press this key to decrease the Band value under DAB mode
3) Short press this key to decrease the frequency and scan for stations under FM mode
4) Short Press this key to go back one sound track, long Press this key to back ard the sound track under
IPHONE mode
5) Short Press this key to go back one sound track, long Press this key to back ard the sound track under
USB mode
3.8 SKIP+ / CHANNEL+
1) To increase or to decrease the timing hen setting the alarm
2) Short press this key to decrease the Band value under DAB mode
3) Short Press this key to go to the next sound track, long Press this key to for ard the sound track under
IPHONE mode
4) Short Press this key to go to the next sound track, long Press this key to for ard the sound track under
USB mode
3.9 VOL ME DOWN
Short press this key to decrease the volume, long press this key to decrease the volume
automatically
3.10 VOL ME P
Short press this key to increase the volume, long press this key to increase the volume
automatically
3.11 ALARM1 / ALARM1 OFF
1) Short press this key to disable Alarm 1
2) Long press this key to Alarm 1 setting. During the setting, [SKIP-/+] can be used as increase/decrease
the value or to change the mode of use.
3.12 ALARM2 / ALARM2 OFF
1) Short press this key to disable Alarm 2
2) Long press this key to Alarm 2 setting. During the setting, [SKIP-/+] can be used as
increase/decrease the value or to change the mode of use.
3.13 PRESET
1) Under DAB mode, short press this key to play the saved stations, hen station is playing, use
[SKIP-/+] to s itch bet een the stations
2) Under FM mode, short press this key to play the saved stations, hen station is playing, use [SKIP-/+]
to s itch bet een the stations
3.14 DIMMER

1) Under the iPhone mode, short press this key to Play/Pause, long press for 2 seconds above, iPhone
goes to Po er-Off mode
