Important Safeguards
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
Read this manual thoroughly before rst use, even if you are familiar with this type of product. The safety
precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of re, electric shock and injury when correctly adhered to. Keep
the manual in a safe place for future reference, along with the completed warranty card, purchase receipt and
carton. If applicable, pass these instructions on to the next owner of the appliance. Always follow basic safety
precautions and accident prevention measures when
using an electrical appliance, including the following:
Electrical safety and cord handling
• Voltage: Before plugging in the power adaptor, make sure your outlet voltage and circuit frequency
correspond to the voltage stated on the product rating label.
• Wall socket: Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or integral convenience receptacles as this can
result in a risk of re or electric shock. When the adaptor is plugged into the power supply, make sure the wall
socket is easily accessible so it can be readily unplugged.
• An Electric Wok that is plugged into an outlet should not be left unattended.
• Do not immerse: To protect against re and electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug, power adaptor or
the product itself in water or other liquid.
• Protect from moisture: Never subject this product to moisture or extreme temperatures. Do not expose it
to dripping or splashing water. Do not use the product near water (bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry
tub, swimming pool) or in a damp basement.
• Protect the power cord: Do not kink, bend, squash or damage the cord of the power adaptor and protect it
from sharp edges and heat. Ensure nothing is placed upon or against the cord. It is always best to have a clear
area from where the cord exits the unit to where it is plugged into a wall outlet. Run the cord in such a way
that there will be no risk of anyone pulling it inadvertently, tripping over it or stepping on it.
• Damaged cord: If the electric cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualied service agent.
• Disconnect: To prevent damage to the product due to lightning strikes and powerline surges, switch the
product o and unplug it from the wall outlet during lightning storms and when the product is not going to
be used for an extended period of time. Grip the plug when disconnecting, do not pull the cord.
Polarized Plug: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to t into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t, contact a qualied electrician.

Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
DO NOT force the plug into the socket.
• Always attach the breakaway cord to appliance rst, then plug into wall outlet. To disconnect, turn the
thermostat to the 'OFF' position, then remove plug from wall outlet.
• A short power-supply cord is to be provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or
tripping over a long cord.
• Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised
in their use.
• If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
- The marked electrical rating of the cord or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical
rating of the appliance;
- If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding 3-wire cord; and:
- The longer cord should be arranged so that it does not drape over the countertop or table top where
it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
Usage conditions and restrictions
• Attachments: Do not use attachments that are not recommended by the product manufacturer or
distributor.
• Adjustments: Only use and adjust controls and perform procedures as specied in this manual. Any other
adjustments or procedures may expose you to danger and void your warranty.
• Installation and use: Improper use or installation may result in the risk of re, electric shock and/or injury.
We assume no liability for any eventual damages caused by improper use or incorrect handling.
• Usage restriction: This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the product by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children: Supervise young children to ensure they do not play with the product.

Safe usage
• Location: Place the product on a straight, rigid and stable surface, away from sources of direct sunlight or
excessive heat.
• Prevent overheating: Place the product in a suciently aerated place, allowing at least 5 inches clearance at
the back and top of the product, and 5 inches on both sides, to prevent overheating. Do not place the product
on top of another appliance that may cause overheating (for example, a receiver or amplier).
• Keep away from heat: Do not place the product near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or
other appliances that produce heat.
• Prevent damage: Do not place the product near other items that may damage it, such as naked ame sources
(lit candles) or objects containing water (a vase or sh bowl).
• Keep openings clear: Take care that no objects fall and no liquids are spilled into any openings.
• This appliance is for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. No user-serviceable parts inside. Do not attempt to service
this product.
• DO NOT use for deep frying.
• NOTE: During initial use of this appliance, some slight smoke and/or odor may be detected. This is normal
with many heating appliances and will not recur after a few uses. Only use with temperature control thermostat
model P/N:CTW300A.
Getting Started
Before rst use
Unpack the product but keep all packaging materials until you have made sure your new Electric Wok is
undamaged and in good working order. Plastic wrapping can be a suocation hazard for babies and young
children, so ensure all such materials are out of their reach.
1. Read all instructions.
2. Unpack your Electric Wok and make sure all parts are in good condition and ready to use.
3. Before using your new appliance, wash the inside of the pan with warm, soapy water and dry. When washing
the wok, make sure the temperature controller is removed.
4. Select a at, level and heat-resistant surface to place your Electric Wok and ensure the power cord is routed
away from the Electric Wok heating surfaces.
5. The Electric Wok is now ready to use.

Care and cleaning
WARNING: Always unplug the Electric Wok from the electrical outlet and allow the parts to cool completely
before storing the unit or disassembling it for cleaning. Never immerse the unit in water or any other liquid.
CAUTION: DO NOT use abrasive cleaners of any kind on any part of your Electric Wok. Abrasive cleaners or
cleaning tools can damage non-stick surfaces and plastic parts.
• Clean the product after each use.
• Remove the temperature control thermostat. DO NOT immerse the temperature control thermostat or wok
in liquids.
CAUTION: Temperature control thermostat must always be completely dry before use.
NOTE: The Electric Wok does not have any dishwasher-safe components.
• Wipe the surfaces with a soft cloth moistened with warm water and mild detergent. Then rinse with a soft
cloth dampened with warm water. Dry thoroughly.
DO NOT immerse the Electric Wok or cord in water or any other liquid.
• Allow the unit to cool down completely before storing. Store your Electric Wok in a dry location, such as on a
tabletop or countertop, or on a cupboard shelf. Wind the electrical cord into a coil and secure with a twist
fastener. For convenience, the temperature controller and cord can then be stored inside the wok.
• For proper care of your Electric Wok, follow the following steps if subborn stains appear:
1. Sprinkle some baking soda on the stained area.
2. Add enough water to moisten the baking soda, making a paste like texture.
3. Let sit for a few minutes (for tougher stains let sit up to an hour).
4. Lightly scrub with a plastic scouring pad or damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
5. Repeat if necessary.
6. Should any stubborn stains appear, they will not aect the performance and non-stick quality of the
non-stick coating.

Using Your Electric Wok
1. Set your wok on a at, dry, heat resistant surface.
2. Set the temperature control dial to 'OFF' and plug the temperature control thermostat into the base on
your wok.
3. Plug the cord into a 120V power outlet.
4. Set the temperature control dial to the desired temperature setting by aligning the temperature on the
temperature control dial with the thermostat light. This light will remain on until the set temperature has
been reached and then will cycle on and o throughout cooking, as the cooking temperature is maintained
by the thermostat.
NOTE: On initial heating of your wok, it is recommended that the temperature be allowed to
cycle (the light glowing on and o) several times. This will help the non-stick cooking surface to adjust to a
more accurate cooking temperature.
5. Use the glass lid when a moist-heat cooking method is desired.
CAUTION: Your wok is hot! Use hot pads or oven mitts.
6. After cooking, turn the temperature control dial to 'OFF'. Unplug the cord from wall outlet. After your
wok has cooled, remove the temperature control thermostat.
CAUTION: The temperature control thermostat may be hot.

Recipes
Spring Rolls
• 3 tablespoons of oil
• 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
• 1 tablespoon of grated ginger
• ¼ cup canned bamboo shoots, nely chopped
• 1 pound chicken meat, minced
Pre-heat Wok to 350°F. Heat oil and add garlic, ginger, and bamboo shoots. Allow garlic and ginger to
brown. Add chicken and soy sauce and stir fry for 3-4 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and stir fry until cabbage wilts. Remove from wok and allow to cool. Wipe wok
clean and set temperature to 425°F; add 1 cup of oil and allow to heat to proper temperature (approximate-
ly 2 minutes). Place a tablespoon of the lling you just prepared across the corners of the spring roll
wrappers. Brush edges with water and tuck in ends. Roll up the enclosed lling. Heat 2”of oil in wok. Deep
fry spring rolls in small batches until golden brown. (approximately 6-8 mins.)
Garlic Shrimp
• 2 pounds of shrimp 16-20 ct, cleaned, peeled, tail on
• ½ cup of vegetable oil
Place all ingredients in a bowl and marinate for 2 hours in refrigerator. Pre-heat wok to 350°F. Stir fry shrimp
until bright pink. Remove garlic cloves and serve hot.
Chinese Rice
• 2 tablespoons of oil
• 3 eggs lightly beaten
• 1 onion, chopped
• ½ cup peas
Heat oil in wok at 300°F. Pour eggs into wok and ip over until cooked. Remove from wok and chop. Add
onions and sauté until tender. Add peas, shallots, rice, and egg and stir to combine. Stir ginger and soy
sauce through the rice. Cook until heated through.
• 3 tablespoons soy sauce
• 2 carrots, grated
• ¼ pound of mushrooms, sliced
• 6 cabbage leaves, shredded
• ¼ pound rice noodles, soaked
• 20 spring roll wrappers
• 4 cloves of garlic
• 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 6 shallots, chopped
• 3 cups of cooked rice
• 1 teaspoon grated ginger
• 2 teaspoons soy sauce

Pork Wonton Soup
• ¾ pound of pork, minced
• 1 tablespoon grated ginger
• 1 tablespoon sesame oil
• 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
In a bowl, combine the pork, ginger, sesame oil, soy sauce, and shallots. Place 1 tablespoon of the mixture into
each wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water and form a pouch. Pinch together and twist. Carefully place
beef stock in wok and bring to a boil at 425°F. Reduce heat slightly and add wontons. Cook for 6-8 minutes,
stirring occasionally. Add bok choy. Cook for an additional 2 minutes and serve immediately.
Crispy Lemon Chicken
• 6 chicken breasts
• ½ cup lemon juice
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 2 teaspoons soy sauce
Chop each chicken breast in half. Combine lemon juice, sugar, and soy sauce.
Pour over chicken and marinate in refrigerator for 30 minutes. Drain chicken and discard the marinade.
Heat oil in wok at 350°F. Coat chicken in our and fry, in small batches, until golden brown. Drain chicken on
paper towel.
Curried Prawns
• 3 tablespoons of oil
• 6 shallots (cut into 2 inch pieces)
• 2 medium onions (slice into rings)
• 3 celery stalks
• ½ cup French beans
• 2 tablespoons curry powder
Heat oil in wok at 350°F. Add shallots, beans, onions, celery, and curry. Sauté until onions are tender. Reduce
heat to 300°F. Add prawns and chicken stock. Stir in our and sherry until thickened. Cook for 3 minutes and
stir in cream. Serve with rice.

• 4 cups beef stock
• 2 baby bok choy, washed
• ½ cups of oil for deep frying
• ½ cup all-purpose our
• ¼ cup chicken stock
• 2 pounds of cooked prawns, shelled
• 2 cups of chicken stock
• ¼ cup of all-purpose our
• 2 tablespoons of sherry
• ¼ cup cream

Pork With Broccoli
• 3 tablespoons of oil
• 1 pound of pork llet, sliced
• 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
• 4 tablespoons soy sauce
• ¼ cup chicken broth
Heat oil in wok at 425°F. Add pork and season with salt and pepper. Stir fry for 1 minute. Remove from wok.
Add carrots, broccoli, and mushrooms and stir fry for 1 minute. Reduce heat to 400°F. Add garlic and ginger
to vegetables. Sprinkle with soy sauce and chicken broth. Stir fry for 5 minutes. Return pork to wok and mix
with vegetables until pork is cooked (About 5 minutes).
Curried Chicken With Coconut Milk
• 1 lb chicken breast, boneless skinless
• 1 tablespoon of curry powder (hot)
• 1 green hot chili pepper
• 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
• 1 cup of coconut milk
Cut the chicken into 1”cubes. Combine the curry powder, pepper, green chili, and salt. Toss the chicken with
the spice mixture and allow to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Heat wok to 400°F and add
the oil; allow to heat for
1 minute. Add the chicken; allow the chicken to cook stirring occasionally for 5-8 minutes. Add the coconut
milk and reduce the heat to 250°F, returning the glass lid to the wok. Allow mixture to cook for an additional
5 minutes. Add the macadamia nuts and cilantro and cook for 1 minute. Serve with Jasmine or Basmati rice.

Uso seguro

Empezando
Antes de usar

Cuidado y Limpieza

en ningún otro líquido.

limpiadores abrasivos o las herramientas de limpieza pueden dañar las supercies antiadherentes y las piezas
de plástico.
• Limpie el producto después de cada uso.
• Retire el termostato de control de temperatura. NO sumerja el termostato de control de temperatura o el
wok en líquidos.
PRECAUCIÓN: El termostato de control de temperatura siempre debe estar completamente seco antes de su
uso.
NOTA: El Wok eléctrico no tiene ningún componente apto para lavavaplatos.
• Limpie las supercies con un paño suave humedecido con agua tibia y detergente suave. Luego enjuague
con un paño suave humedecido con agua tibia. Secar completamente
NO sumerja el Wok eléctrico o el cable en agua ni en ningún otro líquido.
• Permita que la unidad se enfríe por completo antes de guardarla. Guarde su Wok eléctrico en un lugar seco,
como sobre una mesa o encimera, o en un estante de un armario. Enrolle el cable eléctrico en una bobina y
asegúrelo con un sujetador giratorio. Para mayor comodidad, el controlador de temperatura y el cable pueden
almacenarse dentro del wok.
• Para el cuidado adecuado de su Wok eléctrico, siga los siguientes pasos si aparecen manchas subcutáneas:
1. Espolvoree un poco de bicarbonato de sodio en el área manchada.
2. Agregue suciente agua para humedecer el bicarbonato de sodio, haciendo una textura similar a la pasta.

Usando su Wok eléctrico
1. Coloque su wok en una supercie plana, seca y resistente al calor.
2. Ajuste el dial de control de temperatura en 'OFF' y enchufe el termostato de control de temperatura en la
base de su wok.
3. Conecte el cable a una toma de corriente de 120V.
4. Ajuste el dial de control de temperatura a la conguración de temperatura deseada alineando la
temperatura en el dial de control de temperatura con la luz del termostato. Esta luz permanecerá
encendida hasta que se alcance la temperatura establecida y luego se encenderá y apagará durante la
cocción, ya que el termostato mantiene la temperatura de cocción.
NOTA: En el calentamiento inicial de su wok, se recomienda que la temperatura se active (la luz
se encienda y se apague) varias veces. Esto ayudará a que la supercie de cocción antiadherente se ajuste a
una temperatura de cocción más precisa.
5. Use la tapa de vidrio cuando desee un método de cocción con calor húmedo.
PRECAUCIÓN: ¡Su wok está caliente! Use guantes para el horno!
