DESTINAZIONE D’USO
Finalità mediche
Questo prodotto è destinato ad essere utilizzato per l’inalazione di farmaci per la cura dei disturbi respiratori.
Utilizzatori ai quali è destinato il prodotto
• Personale medico legalmente abilitato (medici, infermieri e terapisti).
• Per il trattamento in casa, l’assistenza domiciliare o il paziente sotto la guida di personale medico qualicato.
• L’utilizzatore deve inoltre essere in grado di comprendere in linea generale il funzionamento del dispositivo
e il contenuto del manuale di istruzioni.
Pazienti ai quali è destinato il prodotto
Persone che soffrono di problemi respiratori e hanno la necessità di assumere farmaci per inalazione.
Ambiente
Questo prodotto è destinato all’utilizzo domestico.
Durata prevista
I periodi di durata sono riportati di seguito e partono dal presupposto che il prodotto venga utilizzato per nebuliz-
zare soluzione salina per 3 volte al giorno, 10 minuti per volta, a una temperatura ambiente di 23 °C.
Il periodo di durata può variare in base all’ambiente di utilizzo.
- Compressore (Unità principale): 5 anni
- Nebulizzatore-Tubo collegamento aria-Boccaglio-Erogatore nasale-Maschera pediatrica-Maschera adulti:

• Non inclinare il nebulizzatore oltre 60°.
• Non usare il dispositivo vicino a forti campi elettromagnetici come telefoni cellulari o installazioni radio.
Mantenere una distanza minima di 3,3 m da altri apparecchi quando si utilizza questo dispositivo.
Assicurarsi che i bambini non utilizzino il dispositivo senza la supervisione di un adulto. Alcune parti sono
piccole e potrebbero essere ingerite. Prestare attenzione al rischio di strangolamento in presenza di cavi
o tubi.
I dispositivi elettronici devono essere smaltiti in conformità alle regolamentazioni locali e non con i rifiuti
domestici.

PREPARAZIONE E UTILIZZO DEL DISPOSITIVO
Prima di utilizzare il dispositivo per la prima volta, si raccomanda di pulirlo come descritto nella sezione «Pulizia
e disinfezione».
1. Assemblare il kit di nebulizzazione (11). Assicurarsi che tutte le parti siano complete.
2. Versare la quantità di farmaco indicata dal proprio medico nel nebulizzatore. Assicurarsi di non eccedere il
livello massimo.
3. Connettere il nebulizzatore con il tubo aria (6) al compressore (1) e inserire il cavo di alimentazione (2) nella
presa di corrente (230V~ / 50Hz).
4. Per accendere il dispositivo, premere l’interruttore ON/OFF (3) in posizione «I», mettere in bocca il boccaglio
(7) o appoggiare la mascherina alla faccia facendo attenzione che copra bocca e naso.
• L’uso del boccaglio migliora l’apporto di farmaco ai polmoni.
• Scegliere fra la mascherina per adulti (8) o pediatrica (9) e assicurarsi che copra bocca e naso comple-
tamente.
• Usare gli accessori, incluso l’erogatore nasale (12), come prescritto dal proprio medico.
5. Inspirare ed espirare tranquillamente durante il trattamento.
Sedersi in posizione rilassata con la parte superiore del corpo dritta. Non sdraiarsi durante l’inalazione.
Interrompere l’inalazione in caso di malore.
6. Dopo aver completato la seduta inalatoria come raccomandato dal proprio medico, premere l’interruttore
ON/OFF (3) sulla posizione «O» per spegnere il dispositivo, staccare la spina dalla rete di alimentazione e
scollegare sempre il tubo dell’aria (6) sia dal compressore che dal nebulizzatore.
7. Svuotare il farmaco rimanente nel nebulizzatore e pulire il dispositivo come descritto nella sezione «Pulizia
e disinfezione».
Questo dispositivo è stato progettato per un funzionamento intermittente di 20 min. On /40 min.
Off. Spegnere il dispositivo dopo 20 min. di funzionamento e attendere ulteriori 40 min. prima di effettuare
un nuovo trattamento.

PULIZIA E DISINFEZIONE
Pulire attentamente tutti i componenti e rimuovere residui di farmaco e possibili impurità dopo ogni trattamento.
Il vano compressore (1) e il tubo aria (6) vanno puliti con un panno pulito e umido.
Pulirsi sempre bene le mani prima di procedere alla pulizia e disinfezione degli accessori.
Non esporre il compressore all’acqua o al calore.
Sostituire il tubo aria quando si passa a un nuovo paziente o in caso di impurità.
Staccare la spina dalla rete di alimentazione prima della pulizia.
Pulizia con acqua
• Pulire tutti i componenti del nebulizzatore (eccetto il tubo aria) sotto acqua corrente (max. 60 °C) per
circa 5 minuti aggiungendo se necessario una piccola quantità di detergente seguendo il dosaggio e le
limitazioni previste dal produttore del detergente.
• Sciacquare accuratamente facendo attenzione che tutti i residui siano rimossi e lasciare asciugare.
Disinfezione
• Tutti i componenti (eccetto il tubo aria) possono essere disinfettanti con disinfettanti chimici utilizzando dosi
e limitazioni previste dal produttore del disinfettante.
• I disinfettanti sono generalmente acquistati in farmacia.
Sterilizzazione a vapore
• Tutti i componenti del nebulizzatore (eccetto il tubo aria e le mascherine) possono essere sterilizzati a vapore
no 121 °C (20 min.) o 134 °C (7 min.).
• Dopo la sterilizzazione lasciare sempre raffreddare i componenti no a temperatura ambiente prima di un
ulteriore uso.
Non ripetere il ciclo di sterilizzazione quando i componenti sono ancora caldi.

MANUTENZIONE, CONSERVAZIONE E SERVIZIO
Ordinare tutti i pezzi di ricambio dal proprio rivenditore e farmacia di fiducia o contattare il servizio clienti
Colpharma (vedere premessa).
• Si raccomanda di sostituire il nebulizzatore, il boccaglio e le mascherine dopo 3 mesi di utilizzo.
• Vericare sempre che il ltro sia costantemente pulito e sostituirlo subito se sporco o dopo un massimo di 3
mesi di utilizzo.
Filtri di ricambio vengono forniti con il dispositivo.
• Per sostituire il ltro, aprire il comparto del ltro aria (4) sopra il dispositivo indicato con «Filter» e cambiare
il ltro (10).
Non aprire mai il vano compressore.
MALFUNZIONAMENTI E AZIONI DA INTRAPRENDERE
Il dispositivo non si accende
• Accertarsi che la spina (2) sia ben inserita nella presa di corrente.
• Accertarsi che l’interruttore ON/OFF (3) sia in posizione di acceso «I».
La nebulizzazione è debole o inesistente
• Assicurarsi che il tubo aria (6) sia connesso correttamente ai due estremi.
• Assicurarsi che il tubo aria non sia schiacciato, piegato, sporco o ostruito. Se necessario, sostituirlo con uno
nuovo.
• Assicurarsi che il nebulizzatore (5) sia completamente assemblato e che l’ugello di nebulizzazione colorato
(11) sia correttamente posizionato.
• Accertarsi che il farmaco sia stato versato nel nebulizzatore.

Questo dispositivo è coperto da una garanzia di 3 anni dalla data di acquisto. La garanzia è valida solo presen-

• La garanzia copre solo il compressore. Le parti di ricambio quali il nebuliz-

INTENDED USE
Medical Purpose
This product is intended to be used for inhaling medication for respiratory disorders.
Intended User
• Legally certied medical experts, such as doctor, nurse and therapist.
• Caregiver or patient under the guidance of qualied medical experts for home treatment.
• The user should also be capable of understanding general operation of the device and the content of in-
struction manual.
Intended Patients
Persons who suffer from respiratory disorders and require inhalation of medications.

This product is intended for use in a general household.
Durable period
Durable periods are as follows, provided the product is used to nebulize saline 3 times a day for 10 minutes each
time at room temperature (23 °C).
Durable period may vary depending on usage environment.

• This device is not suitable for anaesthesia and lung ventilation.
• This device should only be used with original accessories as shown in these instructions.
• Do not use this device if you think it is damaged or notice anything unusual.
• Never open this device.
• This device comprises sensitive components and must be treated with caution. Observe the storage and
operating conditions described in the «Technical Specifications» section.
• Protect it from:

PREPARATION AND USAGE OF THIS DEVICE
Prior to using the device for the first time, we recommend cleaning it as described in the section «Cleaning and
Disinfecting».
1 Assemble the nebuliser kit (11). Ensure that all parts are complete.
2. Fill the nebuliser with the inhalation solution as per your doctor’s instructions. Ensure that you do not exceed
the maximum level.
3. Connect the nebuliser with the air hose (6) to the compressor (1) and plug the power lead (2) into the socket
(230V~ / 50Hz).
4. Switch the ON/OFF switch (3) to position «I» to turn on the device and place the mouthpiece (7) in the mouth
or fit one of the face masks over mouth and nose.
• The mouthpiece gives you a better drug delivery to the lungs.
• Choose between adult (8) or child face mask (9) and make sure that it encloses the mouth and nose area
completely.
• Use all accessories including the nose piece (12) as prescribed by your doctor.
5. Breathe in and out calmly during the therapy. Sit in a relaxed position with the upper body upright. Do not
lie down while inhaling. Stop inhalation if you feel unwell.
6. After completing the inhalation period recommended by your doctor, switch the ON/OFF switch (3) to position
«O» to turn off the device and unplug it from the socket and always disconnect the air hose (6) from both,
the compressor and the nebuliser.
7. Empty the remaining medication from the nebuliser and clean the device as described in the section «Clea-
ning and Disinfecting».
This device was designed for intermittent use of 20 min. On / 40 min. Off. Switch off the device after
20 min. use and wait for another 40 min. before you resume treatment.

CLEANING AND DISINFECTING
Thoroughly clean all components to remove medication residuals and possible impurities after each treatment.
The compressor (1) and the air hose (6) should be cleaned with a clean, moist cloth.
Always wash your hands well before cleaning and disinfecting the accessories.
Do not expose the compressor to water or heat.
Replace the air hose for each treatment with a new patient or in case of impurities.
Unplug the device before cleaning.
Cleaning with water
• Wash all nebuliser components (except air hose) under warm tap water (max. 60 °C) for about 5 mi-
nutes adding if necessary a small quantity of detergent following dosage and use limitations as provided by
detergent manufacturer.
• Rinse thoroughly making sure that all deposits are washed away and leave to dry.
Disinfecting
• All nebuliser components (except air hose) can be disinfected with chemical disinfectants following dosage
and use limitations as provided by disinfectant manufacturer.
• Disinfectants are usually available at pharmacies.
Sterilizing with steam
• All nebuliser components (except air hose and masks) can be heat steam sterilized up to 121 °C (20 min.)
or 134 °C (7 min.).
• After sterilization always let all components cool down to ambient temperature before further use.
Do not repeat sterilization cycle when components are still warm.

MAINTENANCE, CARE, AND SERVICE
Order all spare parts from your dealer or pharmacist, or contact Colpharma-Service (see foreword).
• We recommend replacing the nebuliser, mouthpiece, and the face masks after 3 months use.
• Check the lter continually for cleanliness and replace it if dirty, or after a maximum of 3 months use.
Spare filters are provided with the device.
• To replace the lter, open the air lter compartment (4) on the top of the device marked «Filter» and exchan-
ge the lter (10).
Never unscrew the plastic lid.
MALFUNCTIONS AND ACTIONS TO TAKE
The device cannot be switched on
• Ensure the power lead (2) is correctly plugged into the socket.
• Ensure the ON/OFF switch (3) is in the position «I».
The nebuliser functions poorly or not at all
• Ensure the air hose (6) is correctly connected at both ends.
• Ensure the air hose is not squashed, bent, dirty or blocked. If necessary, replace with a new one.
• Ensure the nebuliser (5) is fully assembled and the colored vaporiser head (11) is placed correctly.
• Ensure the required medication has been added.

GUARANTEE
This device is covered by a 3 year guarantee from the date of purchase. The guarantee is valid only on presen-
tation of the receipt.
• The guarantee covers only the compressor. The replaceable components like nebuliser, masks, mouthpiece,
air hose, and filters are not included.
• Opening or altering the device invalidates the guarantee.
• The guarantee does not cover damage caused by improper handling, accidents or non-compliance with the
operating instructions.

VERWENDUNGSZWECK
Medizinische Zwecke
Dieses Produkt ist für die Inhalation von Medikamenten zur Behandlung von Atemwegserkrankungen bestimmt.
Benutzer, für die das Produkt bestimmt ist
• Rechtlich qualiziertes medizinisches Personal (Ärzte, Krankenschwestern und Therapeuten).
• Für die Behandlung zu Hause, die häusliche Pege oder den Patienten unter Anleitung von qualiziertem
medizinischem Personal.
• Der Benutzer muss auch in der Lage sein, die Bedienung des Gerätes und den Inhalt der Betriebsanleitung
grundsätzlich zu verstehen.
Patienten, für die das Produkt bestimmt ist
Personen, die unter Atembeschwerden leiden und Inhalationsmedikamente einnehmen müssen.

Dieses Produkt ist für den privaten Gebrauch bestimmt.
Vorgesehene Betriebsdauer
Die Zeiten sind im Folgenden angegeben und gehen davon aus, dass das Produkt zum Vernebeln/Zerstäuben
von Salzlösung dreimal täglich, jeweils 10 Minuten bei einer Umgebungstemperatur von 23 °C eingesetzt wird.
Der Zeitraum kann je nach Anwendungsumgebung variieren.
- Kompressor (Hauptgerät): 5 Jahre
- Vernebler - Luftschlauch-Anschluss - Mundstück - Nasenstück - Kinder-Gesichtsmaske - Erwachsenen-Ge-
sichtsmaske: 1 Jahr oder 120 Vernebelungszyklen oder 20 Desinfektionszyklen durch Kochen für 15-20
Minuten. Eine häufige Anwendung des Produkts kann die vorgesehene Nutzungsdauer verkürzen

Vorsichtsmaßnahmen für den Gebrauch
Die in der Betriebsanleitung angegebenen Warnhinweise und Vorsichtsmaßnahmen sind zu beachten.

• Befolgen Sie diese Gebrauchsanweisung. Dieses Dokument enthält wichtige Informationen zum Betrieb und
zur Sicherheit dieses Geräts. Bitte lesen Sie dieses Dokument sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie das Gerät benutzen
und bewahren Sie es für die zukünftige Nutzung auf.
• Dieses Gerät darf nur für den in dieser Anleitung beschriebenen Zweck verwendet werden. Der Hersteller ist
nicht für Schäden haftbar, die aus unsachgemässer Handhabung resultieren.
• Dieses Gerät ist nicht für Anästhesie und die Ventilation der Lungen geeignet.
• Dieses Gerät sollte nur mit dem Original-Zubehör verwendet werden, das in dieser Anleitung aufgeführt ist.
• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn Sie einen Schaden erkennen oder Ihnen etwas Ungewöhnliches auffällt.
• Öffnen Sie niemals das Gerät.
• Dieses Gerät besteht aus sensiblen Bauteilen und muss vorsichtig behandelt werden. Beachten Sie die
Lagerund Betriebsanweisungen im Kapitel «Technische Daten».
• Schützen Sie das Gerät vor:
- Wasser und Feuchtigkeit
- extremen Temperaturen
- Stössen und Herunterfallen
- Schmutz und Staub
- starker Sonneneinstrahlung
- Hitze und Kälte
• Benutzen Sie nur die Medizin, die Ihnen von Ihrem Arzt verschrieben wurde, und halten Sie sich an die
Anweisungen Ihres Arztes bezüglich Dosierung, Dauer und Häugkeit der Therapie.
• Neigen Sie den Zerstäuber nicht um mehr als 60°.
• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe starker elektromagnetischer Felder wie z.B. Mobiltelefone oder
Funkanlagen. Halten Sie einen Mindestabstand von 3,3 m zu solchen Geräten, wenn Sie dieses Gerät benut-
zen.
Sorgen Sie dafür, dass Kinder das Gerät nicht unbeaufsichtigt benutzen; einige Teile sind so klein, dass sie
verschluckt werden könnten. Beachten Sie das Strangulierungsrisiko sollte dieses Gerät mit Kabeln oder
Schläuchen ausgestattet sein.
Elektronische Geräte dürfen nicht im Hausmüll, sondern müssen entsprechend den örtlichen Vorschriften
entsorgt werden.
Die Benutzung dieses Geräts ist kein Ersatz für einen Arztbesuch.
