CONGRATULATIONS ON PURCHASING
YOUR NEW COMPETITOR PACE CLOCK.
Before you get started using this timing system for swimming, please use the
following instructions to inspect your clock. We ship our clocks with pride
and amazing inspection, sometimes during shipping, the clock will jostle.
Our clocks do not have an automatic reset. The second hand may be
reset manually by opening the back cover plate and turning the small
dial located on the motor.
BATTERY CLOCK
1. After you have removed your clock from the carton, place the
battery inside the motor. Please be sure the on/off switch’s wire
(copper end) is sandwiched between the metal clip of the motor
and the negative end of the battery.
2. Use the on/off switch to check that the on/off switch is working
properly. If clock hands do not turn when you turn the clock on,
you will need to adjust the copper piece. If the wire’s copper end
is not placed properly, the hands will continue to turn when the
clock is turned off.
ELECTRIC CLOCK
1. Open the back cover plate and turn the small dial located on
the motor clockwise - turning counter-clockwise may cause a
jam in the gears and prohibit your clock from working properly.
2. Apply knurled nut onto the threaded oblong shaft and gently
tighten until snug.
3. Once you have placed your clock in the desired location, you
can turn your clock on by manually ipping the on/off switch on
the cord of the clock.
