General instructions
The Condeco screen can be mounted to solid or partition walls using the mounting plate
supplied and suitable fixings.
When deciding where to mount the Condeco room screen please consider the locations of
the cable entry points on the back plate.

The final screen height should be determined by local disability access requirements. The
ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Guidelines requires that the highest point of interaction
is not greater than 48 inches or 1220 mm. We find 1150mm –1170mm from the bottom of
the device typically a suitable height.
Once desired screen height is finalised, the back needs to be fixed to the wall using the
screws supplied or using double sided tape (for mounting on Glass) to secure the back plate
in position.

Mounting on Glass
The following illustration shows a Condeco screen mounted to Glass. When mounting on
glass we recommend that the use of the following materials.
To fix the screen to the Glass wall, you will need to use the pre cut strips between the back
plate and the Vinyl. We recommend using 2 of the strips per screen, placed on to the Vinyl.
The back plate attaches to the Strips, and the strips are attached to the Vinyl.
Firstly, the vinyl is attached to the glass (Please review the 3M Application Instruction
document for wet application procedure. Ensure the vinyl is allowed to dry for at least 24
hours before continuing). The strips are then attached to either the Vinyl or the back plate
and finally the back plate is pushed onto the vinyl.

Screen Commission Pre-requisites
If screen commissioning has been purchased as part of the installation, you will need to
ensure the following pre-requisites are in place prior to an engineer attending site:
Screen back plates fitted in position to the location requirements.
Pre terminated network cable with RJ45 connector at the screen. The terminating cable
should be approximately 20cm from the back plate entry to the connector.
The provided network cable should be patched and tested as operational on the
network.
The network connection provided must be capable of supplying POE to the screen either
from the switch or by the use of an inline injector somewhere between the screen and
the network switch. These should be in place and powered. We recommend using a
Netgear POE switch.
The network point should be tested to ensure routing of http traffic port 80 is available to
the server that the Condeco software is to be installed on.
If the use of static IP addresses is required these should be pre-allocated and the
engineer advised of the IP addresses and the meeting room/screens they are to be used
on.
On attendance, the engineer will mount each screen to the pre installed back plates,
program any static IP addresses required, commission the screens to the software and test
the functionality.
