Pendant Operation Manual
Operation
This manual describes the operation of the emergency pendant.
The Emergency Pendant provides a means to summon assistance in
an emergency from within your suite. It may be worn on a lanyard or
on a wrist strap. It is water resistant and may be worn in the shower.
In case of emergency press the blue button on the pendant. The red
LED above the button will flash indicating the radio signal is being
sent out.
When the signal is received by a device in your vicinity. This alarm is
transmitted to the security centre in your building. The centre will
attempt to contact you.
The emergency pendant must be tested regularly.
During the test if the battery is low there will be a message sent to the
security centre. If the battery is low the pendant must be replaced.

responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate
the equipment.

requirement. The device can be used in portable exposure condition
without restriction.

Enabling the Supervisory Test Signal
To enable the Supervisory Test Signal press and hold the button for
15 seconds. At this point the LED will turn on for 3 seconds. During
these 3 seconds release the button and press it again. The LED will
turn off to indicate supervisory mode has been activated.
To test that supervisory mode has been activated press and hold the
button for 15 seconds. If supervisory mode has been activated the
LED will not turn on for 3 seconds.
Note: Once the supervisory test signal is activated it may not be
deactivated.
