Quick Start Guide – CS461 Read Tag to RS232 v1.00
1 Hardware Setup
CS461 can send all the received tag information to external device through RS232 port located in
DB25 connector.
RS232 setting:
-Speed: 9600
-Data bits: 8
-Parity: None
-Stop bits: 1
-Flow control: None

2 Reader Setup
1. Operation Profile
-Setup all parameter according to your needs.
2. Trigger
-Select which antennas will be used.

3. Resultant Action
-Select “Instant Alert to Server” in Action Mode.
-Select “SerialPort1 (Simplified)” or “SerialPort1” in Transport Type. We can support
Wiegand output by connecting a Wiegand Adaptor (Purchase separately) to DB25
connector.
4. Event management
-Once you click “Confirm Modification”, the reader will send tag information to RS232.

3 Data format
For SerialPort1 in Resultant Action, Trusted Server data format is used.
