Thisproductisforhouseholduseonly.
GETTINGSTARTED
•Removepackingmaterialsandanystickers.
•PlaceyourBreadMakeronadry,stable,levelsurfaceawayfromheatandareaswherecooking
greaseorwatermaysplatteronunit.
•Donotplaceneartheedgeofacountertop.Ifplacingbeneathcabinets,makesurethereis
enoughroomtoopenthelidwithoutinterference.
Note:Duringfirstuse,theBreadMakermaysmokeand/oremitanodorfrommineraloilsusedin
manufacturing.Thisisnormal.
•Wheninsertingbreadpan(s)intotheBreadMaker,makesuretosetthemfirmlyinplace.
•Toremovebreadpan(s)frombakingchamber,holdhandlewithanovenmittandliftstraight
upfirmly.
Important:Whenyouremovebreadpan(s)afterbaking,besuretowearovenmittstoprevent
burning.
•Afterremovingbreadloaf(byturningbreadpanupsidedownandshakinggently),checktosee
thatthekneadingpaddlehasremainedinthebreadpan.
•Ifthekneadingpaddleisstuckinthebread,allowbreadtocool,andthenusethepaddle
removalkeytoremoveit,takingcarenottoscratchthekneadingpaddle.

BAKINGBREAD
Selectyourrecipe,andfollowthestepslistedbelow.
1. Removethebreadpan
Openthelidandpulloutthebreadpanbythehandle,upandstraightoutoftheunit.
2. Attachthekneadingpaddletothebreadpan
Asshowninfigures5&6below,insertthekneadingpaddlebyaligningthesemicircleofthe
bladewiththesemicircleoftherotatingaxleinthebreadpan.Insertintothepansothatthe
longedgeofthepaddleisclosesttothebottomofthepan.

Besurethatthepaddleissecured,otherwiseitmaycomeoffduringoperation,whichmay
affectthekneadingandmixing,andmaycauseleakage.
3. Addingredientsintothebakingpan
Placeingredientsintothebakingpan,followingtheorderoutlinedintherecipe.

Yeastmustbeaddedlastsothatitdoesnotcomeintodirectcontactwiththewater.

Oncethebakingprocesshasbeencompleted,theLCDwilldisplay0:00undertheTimerandthe
unitwillbeep10timestoindicatethatithasfinishedthebakingprocess.(SeeFigure15)
Forbestresults,removethebreadimmediatelyafterbaking.
Theappliancewillkeepthebreadwarmforamaximumof
60minutes.After60minutes,theBreadMakerwill
automaticallyturnoff.
8. Removingabreadpan
Oncethebakingprocessiscomplete,thebreadpancanberemovedbyfollowingthesteps
below.
a. Unplugthecordfromthewallsocket.
b. Openthelidandusingovenmitts,removethebreadpanfrom
thebakingcompartmentbygraspingthehandleandpullingthe
panstraightupandoutoftheunit.(SeeFigure16)
Important:Thebreadpanandloafarebothveryhot!Becareful
nottoplaceeitheronatablecloth,plasticsurfaceor
