POWER SUPPLY
AC POWER OPERATION:
Connect the AC Power Cord to your AC household mains socket and switch on
the mains supply. Make sure the voltage is compatible.
BATTERY OPERATION:
1. Remove mains lead from the unit for battery operation.
2. Open the Battery Compartment at the back of the radio and insert four
AA batteries (not included) following the polarity diagram shown inside
the battery compartment.
3. Batteries should be removed from the compartment if the unit is not to
be used for some time.
4. Flat batteries should be removed from the unit to avoid leakage.
RADIO OPERATION:
1. Press the Power ON/OFF Button (5) to switch the unit on.
2. Choose between radio wave band AM, FM, LW BAND button (13) or SW
using BAND Button (12).
3. Search for the station of your choice using the Tuning Knob (4).
4. Toswitch off the radio, press the Power button (5) to OFF.
AERIAL:
For FM reception there is a built-in telescopic FM aerial (18) at the rear of the
unit. Extend the aerial and move it around to obtain the best reception.
For AM / LW / SW reception the signals are picked up through a built-in ferrite
aerial. You may have to adjust the position of the unit to obtain the best
reception.
STORE RADIO STATIONS MANUALLY:
This unit can store 104 stations in total (8x FM, 8x AM, 8x LW and 80 SW).
1. Tune into the desired station as explained above
2. Press the SET button (3) to enter preset mode
3. A “CH” icon flashes in the display
4. Press the M+ or M- buttons (8 or 9) to choose a preset number, from 1 to
8.
5. Press the SET button (3) to confirm the memory setting.

STORE RADIO STATIONS AUTOMATICALLY:
Press and hold the SET button (3) 3 seconds and the radio station will be stored
in the memory sequentially.
CLOCK SETTING:
When the radio is OFF, the display only shows calendar and time.
1. Press the SET button (3) and the display will show the minutes as 00
flashing. Turn the Tuning Knob (4) to select minutes.
2. Press the SET button (3) again to confirm setting. The Display will show
00:00 with the first two digits flashing. Turn the Tuning Knob (4) to
select the correct time of hours.
3. Press the SET button (3) again to confirm setting. Next the Display will
show 24H will flash. Turn Tuning Knob (4) to select either 12H or 24H
display.
4. Press the SET button (3) to confirm the clock setting.
When the radio is ON, the display shows radio frequency and time.
Press the MODE button (2) to select time mode, then repeat the above steps 1-
4 to set the time.
CALENDAR SETTING:
When the display shows the time, press MODE button (2) to show calendar
mode.
1. Press SET button once (3) to select the year.
2. Turn the Tuning Knob (4) to set the correct year.
3. Press SET button (3) again to select the month.
4. Turn the Tuning Knob (4) to set the correct month.
5. Press SET button (3) again to select the day.
6. Turn the Tuning Knob (4) to set the correct day.
7. Press SET button (3) to confirm the calendar setting.
ALARM SETTING:
1. Press the Alarm button (11) and select the Alarm 1 or Alarm2
2. Press the SET button (3), the display will show the minutes flashing as
00. Turn the Tuning Knob (4) to select the desired minutes.
3. Press the SET button (3) again to confirm setting. The display will then
show 00:00 with the first two digits flashing. Turn the Tuning Knob (4)
to select the desired hours.

4. Press SET button (3) to confirm the alarm setting.
5. Press ALARM button (11) to enter in normal clock mode.
When the Alarm sounds, press SET button (3) or ON/OFF button (5) to turn it
off. The Alarm setting remains.
During the time display mode (Radio is off), press the Alarm button (11) to
select Alarm1, Alarm2, Alarm1&2 or off.
ALARM VOLUME SETTING:
In Radio Alarm, the Alarm Volume is set with the last volume level used
during playback. In Buzzer Alarm, the Alarm level is fixed.
WAKE TO BUZZER ALARM:
Alarm1 and Alarm2 both have “wake to buzzer Alarm” function
1. Set the Alarm time as shown above.
2. Turn the Tuning Knob to set Alarm to wake up to BuzzerAlarm.
WAKE TO RADIO:
1. Follow steps as described under Alarm Time Setting. Alarm1 and Alarm2
both have the “wake to radio”function.
2. Press the Alarm button (11) once to set the desired Alarm 1 time.
3. Press the Alarm button (11) twice to set the desired Alarm 2time.
4. Turn the Tuning Knob (4) once after alarm setting to activate wake to
Radio function.
5. After finish the Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 time setting, press the SET button (3)
once to confirm alarm timer setting.
6. The Radio Memory icon appears in the display. During that time, turn
the Tuning +/- knob to select the desired Radio station stored in the
memory before.
7. Press the Set button (3) to confirm.
8. Press the ON/OFF button (5) to turn ON the unit, and then adjust the
Volume to the desired level. Press the ON/OFF button (5) to switch OFF
the Radio. It then switches ON automatically at the preset Alarm time.
SLEEP FUNCTION:
Press ON button (5) to switch ON the radio. Press the Snooze/Sleep Button
(10) sequentially from 90 to 10 minutes. To switch it off press once more.
After setting the Sleep function and after the countdown has finished, the

unit will switch off automatically.
SNOOZE:
The alarm can be temporarily turned off manually by pressing the SNOOZE
button (10); the alarm will turn back on 5 minutes later automatically.
HEADPHONES:
Headphones should have a 3.5mm diameter stereo plug and an impedance of
8-32 ohms. When headphones are connected (6), the speaker is
automatically disconnected.

Store the unit in a cool, dry place.
BATTERIES:
•Keep batteries away from children and pets.
•Do not mix used and new batteries.
•Remove the batteries if left unused for long periods.
•Never dispose of batteries in a fire.
•Battery disposal, spent or expired batteries must be properly disposed of
and recycled in compliance with local regulations. For detailed
information, contact your local authority.
•Follow the battery manufacturer’s safety, usage, and disposal
instructions.
DISPOSAL:
•Dispose of all packaging, paper, cartons and plastic, plastic bags in
accordance with your local recycling regulations.
•At the end of the product’s lifespan please dispose of it at an authorised
household WEEE waste recycling centre.
