•The Tens Machine works
through 2 electrodes (1x
positive and 1x negative)
which in turn excite and
placate the nervous system.
It is the move from positive to negative and back again that causes the pulse sensation.
•The low frequency current transmits electronic stimuli to the body at tiny intervals. The
change in frequency from “tap” to “vibration” to “massage” dictates the sensation
received. This range of frequencies (from 2-100Hz) can relieve some soreness and
aching from muscles.
•This relief comes encouraging the muscles to contract which increases blood flow and
improves blood circulation to the affected area.
Operation
1. Set strength/power to zero and remove the battery compartment cover and insert 2 x
AAA batteries ensuring the correct polarity is observed. Replace cover.
2. Connect electrode wire to Tens machine and attach pads to cable ends.
3. Put pad onto part of the body requiring treatment using pasters.
4. To turn on, hold down the power button for 2 seconds until the red LED indicator is
illuminated.
5. Select desired setting, intensity and speed.
6. A full treatment last for up to 15 minutes. After this time the unit will automatically
turn off. Once the treatment has finished, set the intensity to the minimum level. To
turn off prior to this hold down the power button for 1 second.
Cleaning
•Wash pads with cold water after
approximately every 30 uses or as
necessary.
•Using a damaged or dirty pad may
lead to skin becoming red or sore.
•Cleaning the pad too frequently
will cause the surface of the pad
to lose tackiness.
Troubleshooting
•A dim or non-functioning LED light
may signify that batteries need
replacing/recharging.
•If no pulse can be felt, check the
electrode wires are correctly inserted
into the machine body.

Types of stimuli
Tap
This can help alleviate and in some cases
eliminate aches, pains and muscle fatigue.
This is best used on the neck, back, waist
and painful joints.
Vibration
The vibration stimulus can help to ease
aches and pains by contracting muscles
and giving an exercise effect.
Massage
This setting is designed to improve muscle
tone and/or general wellbeing.
Automatic
This is designed to combine the above
waves in different combinations,
integrating “tap”, “vibration and “massage”.
Warning
•Do NOT use when driving or when
operating machinery.
•If you feel any pain or discomfort
during use, stop use immediately.
•Do NOT allow children to use this
product.
•Do NOT use in the bath, bathroom or
anywhere else with high humidity
levels.
•Only use the pads for a short period of
time. Prolonged use to the same part
of the body may cause dermatitis.
•Do NOT allow the pad to come into
contact with jewellery or any other
conductive material as the current will
pass through the conductive material.
•Do NOT use on the neck, head,
mouth, genitals or heart.
•Do NOT use only any areas suffering
from irritation.
•Always wash intended area of use
before positioning pads.
•Do NOT use if damaged.
•No user serviceable parts.
•Do NOT use in conjunction with any
other medical devices.
•Always follow the polarity guide when
fitting replacement batteries.
•Prolonged use can cause skin to
become red or sore.
•Keep out of direct sunlight.
•Do NOT use if you have a pacemaker
fitted or any other implant fitted or
have a heart condition
