New Ri 2530/3530 Digital Copier/Network Printer. The Ri 2530/3530 shares the same engine and
enhancement devices with the Printer version, the FS-9100DN/9500DN (see FS-
9100DN/9500DN Technical Bulletin #1 for more details). Some special features unique to the Ri
2530/3530 are as follows:

All Replacement Maintenance Kits supplied for Warranty are warranted to be free of Manufacturer’s
Defects for a period of 3 years from the date of installation or the defined number of prints whichever
should occur first.
Note that this warranty is against manufacturer defects and does not cover problems caused by foreign
objects, improper use, or Non Copystar Toners.
To obtain Credit for either the Drum Ass’y, Developer Ass’y, Fixing Unit or Transfer Ass’y, return the Unit
with a Defective Parts Claim Form to the National Processing Center showing the original date of install
and proof of purchase.

Either a standard PCMCIA Type I & II slot, eFilm CompactFlash Type I & II Parallel Port Reader, or eFilm
CompactFlash Type I & II USB Port Reader are needed to copy firmware files to the CF Card. An 8MB or larger CF
Card can be used. These devices are available from Delkin Devices at: www.delkin.com.

Defective PCB’s being returned within the 1-Year warranty period must be returned to the National Processing
Center utilizing a Defective Parts Claim Form. Any associated mounting brackets, hardware, system software and
original packaging must be included with the claim. Credit will then be issued to your account.
Defective PCB’s out of warranty may be returned for repair to the National Processing Center using the Printed
Circuit Board Repair Form.
During the 1-year initial warranty period, boards that are replaced under warranty will be warranted for a minimum
of 90 days from the day of installation.
Example: If a Board is replaced under warranty on day 360 of the 1-Year initial warranty period, the board will still
be warranted for an additional 90 days from the date of its installation.
*Repair PCB Price includes credit issued after return of old Board.
