•Ensure you are a suitably qualified professional who can complete the installation
in a safe and secure manner.
•When selecting a mounting location, always choose an area where you can firmly
attach to a solid support structure i.e. timber nogs, concrete wall. We do not
recommend installing into areas without a solid structure.
•Ensure the product is positioned so the power cable & plug can easily reach your
wall socket. There should be no stress on the cable or plug on any angle.
•Check your mounting location carefully for cables or pipes before beginning. You
must be careful not to drill into or pierce a cable or pipe inside the wall structure.
•Always ensure the supporting surface will safely support the combined weight of
the attached equipment and all attached hardware and components.
•Always double check your measurements and work before proceeding.
•Use a spirit level.
•Check you have the right tools, accessories and safety equipment to complete the
installation.

•Always ensure the cable is fully un-reeled prior to use.
•Plug into a standard 10A wall socket. Turn on at the wall and on the cable reel.
•The IP44 cover on the socket is supplied for temporary use to deter light dust or
liquids that might splash onto the socket.
•When reeling or un-reeling remove plugs from sockets.
•Always ensure the Lock-On mechanism is set to the UNLOCKED position when
plugging in or unplugging from the socket.
•To stow, have the cable fully extended and in a straight line –pull gently to release
the retraction mechanism and allow the cable to fully retract.
•Make sure there are no people or obstacles in the way during retraction.
NOTE: The last approx. 1M of cable will retract by the momentum, it will not remain
under heavy load or tension. This is by design to prevent undue strain on the cable.
TIP: If you have not fully un-reeled the cable, or if you have stopped or interfered
with the retraction, the cord may not fully retract. Always fully un-reel when in use
and allow the cable to retract freely.
