Quick Start Guide
Thank you for choosing the Corinex AV200 Powerline Ethernet Adapter.
Please follow the steps below to set up your adapter and the initial configuration.
1. Connect the Corinex AV200 Powerline Ethernet Adapter to the electrical
socket
2. Connect the computer to the adapter, using a straight-forward Ethernet cable
which came with the product.
3. Change the IP address of your computer to 10.10.1.1, network mask
255.255.0.0.
For more information on how to set the IP address in you system, please see
the User Guide which can be found on the enclosed CD.
4. Start your web browser (eg. Internet Explorer) and open the webpage
http://10.10.1.69.
5. The authentication pages of the Corinex AV200 Powerline Ethernet Adapter
will appear.
On the password screen, enter “paterna” and click OK.

6. The main page of the configuration interface opens.
Please click on Advanced Settings in the top menu. On the next page click
on Network Settings in the submenu.
7. In the Network Settings section of the configuration page, change the IP
address of your Corinex AV200 Powerline Ethernet Adapter.
Note: Please make sure that each adapter in your network has a unique IP
address.

8.After entering a new IP Address, click OK. Please wait until the configuration
page reloads.
9. Navigate to the To o l s section in the submenu. Click on Hardware Reset.

The adapter will reboot with the new IP Address.
Please change the IP address for each and every adapter in your network. For
example, if you have 3 adapters in your network, you can use the following
configuration:
Adapter no. IP Address
1 10.10.1.1
2 10.10.1.2
3 10.10.1.3
The CD included with your Corinex AV200 Powerline Ethernet Adapter features
software for optimizing network performance on Microsoft Windows operating
systems, for use with the Corinex AV200 Powerline Ethernet Adapter. Follow the steps
below if you wish to optimize your system:

1. Insert the enclosed CD in your CD-ROM drive if you haven’t already
done
2. Navigate to the Scripts folder on the CD. There are three script files, which
will work on most Windows and Linux operating systems:
a) For Windows 98/ME, please execute the file tcpwin_w98.reg.
b) For Windows 2000/XP, please execute the file tcpwin_xp.reg
c) For a Linux PC with kernel version 2.4 or higher, open the console and execute
the command “./tcpwin.sh 512” after logging in as a root user.
After executing the script, please reboot your computer.
The initial configuration of your Corinex AV200 Powerline Ethernet Adapter is now
complete.
