Only trained and certified electrical, plumbing and refrigeration technicians should service this unit.
All wiring and plumbing must conform to national and local codes. Failure to comply could

Disconnect power to the unit before servicing. Follow all lock out/tag out procedures established by the user. Verify all
power is off to the unit before performing any work.

Always be sure to keep the area around the unit clean and free of clutter.
Failure to keep this area clean may result in injury or equipment damage.

The instructions in Table 2 should be used for installation of the plunger assembly kit on Viper Elite Carbon units.

Table 2. Installation Procedure

Loosen the stopper screws located on back of
merchandiser.
(Approx 1/2” length exposed)

Slide the shutter assembly up and pull away
from merchandiser to remove it from the mer-
chandiser door.
Place the shutter assembly in safe area to
avoid scratches on it.
Figure 2.

Unscrew the diffuser mounting screws (6X)
and remove the diffuser out of the merchan-
diser door.Place it in safe area.

Access the plunger assembly mounting nuts
on both sides. Remove the plunger assembly
along with the mounting nuts out and scrap
removed parts. Replace the new plunger
assembly and mounting nuts provided with the
KIT.

5 Affix the diffuser back to merchandiser.
6Carefully insert the shutter assembly and slide
down to its original position.

7Tighten the stopper screws.This completes the
task.
