WIRING
The 2011-2014 F-150 PCM is in the passenger side of the engine bay on the firewall. The PCM has three
connectors. Power, RPM, vehicle speed, and TPS signals can be accessed at these connectors. When the PCM
is installed in the car the Transmission connector will be on the right, the Engine connector will be in the
middle, and the Cowl connector will be on the left.
The Cortex EBC wiring harness should be connected to the PCM connectors as outlined in the following table
(C = Cowl Connector, E= Engine Connector, T = Transmission Connector).

VEHICLE CONFIGURATION SETTINGS
RPM DETECTION:
•Pulses Per Cycle: 7
•Rotations Per Cycle: 2
SPEED DETECTION:
•Pulses Per Mile: Calibrate using speedometer or GPS. 4,000 is a good starting point.
•VSS Scaler: 1/16
GEAR DETECTION:
•EVS Ratios: Determine using EVS Ratio displayed by logger while driving in each gear.
GPI CONFIGURATION FOR TPS:
•Mode: TPS
•Min TPS Voltage: Enter GPI Raw displayed by logger when throttle is closed (around 5.0 V).
•Max TPS Voltage: Enter GPI Raw displayed by logger when throttle is open (around 0.0 V).
