Thank you for choosing a Cosatto product. Please take a little time to read the important safety
notes detailed below. This will ensure many years of happy, safe use.

WARNING: A CHILD’S SAFETY IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
•This pushchair is intended for children from birth up to a maximum user weight of 15kg.
•WARNING: It may be dangerous to leave your child unattended.
•WARNING: Any load attached to the handle affects the stability of the
pushchair.
•WARNING: This product is not suitable for running or skating.
•WARNING: To avoid injury ensure that your child is kept away when
unfolding and folding this product.
•WARNING: Ensure that all locking devices are engaged before use.
•Children should be harnessed in at all times and never left unattended. The child should be clear
of moving parts while making adjustments. This vehicle requires regular maintenance by the user.
•Do not use replacement parts or accessories other than those approved by Cosatto as they may
render the pushchair unsafe.
•Overloading, incorrect folding, and the use of non-approved accessories or spare parts may
damage or break this pushchair and could render the product unsafe. Read the instructions.
•Do not overload this pushchair with additional children, goods or accessories. Bags and other
items must not be hung from the handle. A basket is provided for the carriage of 3kg (6lb.) of
goods, evenly distributed.
•Never leave raincovers on indoors, in a hot atmosphere or near a heat source as the baby could
overheat.
•Ensure all users are familiar with the products operation. It should always open and fold easy. If it
does not, do not force the mechanism - stop and read the instructions.
•Do not use your pushchair in a manner for which it is not designed.
•Ensure your child wears a correctly fitted and adjusted harness at all times. D-rings are provided
on the existing harness for the attachment of a separate safety harness approved to
BS EN 13210 should this be required.
•Do not allow your child to climb unassisted into, play with or hang onto your pushchair.
•
Always apply the brakes when the pushchair is stationary. Hold on to your pushchair when close to moving
road vehicles or trains. Even with the brake on the draught from the vehicle may move the pushchair.
•Exercise caution when mounting or dismounting a kerb. Remove your child and fold the pushchair
when ascending or descending stairs or escalators.
•Ensure the folded pushchair is stored away from children so that it does not fall and cause injury.
•Never carry a second child on your pushchair.
•This product complies with BS EN 1888:2003 + A-A3:2005.

operation
1 - list of parts
Your pushchair is supplied in one carton and contains:
1. Chassis 5. Rear wheel cover x2
2. Chest Pads (Supplied fitted to harness) 6. Front wheel assembly
3. Rear axle assembly 7. Bumper bar
4. Rear Wheel x2 8. Raincover
2 - unfolding the chassis
Lift the handle upwards (a) until the chassis automatically locks into position (b). It is recommended
that you check the chassis is locked before continuing.
3 - fitting the rear axle assembly
Turn the chassis upside down. Insert the axle assembly into the chassis legs as shown (a). Push the
axle assembly down until the plastic pins lock in place (b).
4 - fitting the rear wheels
Remove the R clip and one washer from one side of the axle (a). Fit the wheel on to the axle shaft (b).
Place the washer on to the axle (c) and secure the wheel with the R clip (d). Finally fit the cover (e).
Repeat this procedure with the other rear wheel.
5 - fitting the front wheel
Align the wheel assembly with the chassis leg as shown (a). Push the the assembly on to the leg
until the spring loaded pin locks it in position (b).
When all the wheels are fitted, turn the chassis over to the upright position.
6 - using the brake
The brake levers are located on either side of the axle assembly. Press down on one of the levers (a)
to lock the rear wheels. It is recommended that you test the brake is engaged by trying to push the
pushchair for a short distance.
Lift one of the brake levers (b) to release the brake.
7 - front swivel wheel
To lock the swivel wheel, turn the wheel assembly until the lever is facing forward, then lift the
lever up (a).
To release the swivel wheel, push the lever down (b).
8 - fitting the bumper bar
The detachable bumper bar allows easy access to the seat. Before fitting bumper bar please ensure
that the brake is applied. Fit the ends of the bumper bar to the locating pins on the chassis (a)
until it locks in place.
Press the buttons (b) under the ends, on each side, to remove the bumper bar.
9 - using the hood
To raise the hood pull it forward (a). To lower the hood push it back.
To raise the sun visor pull it forward (b). To lower the sun visor push it back.
The window cover on top of the hood can be opened by pulling it up from it’s velcro® fastening.
Roll the cover up and secure to the rib of the hood with the elastic toggle (c).

10 - removing and re-fitting the hood
The hood can removed by pulling the clips off the chassis on either side (a). Undo the zip at the
top of the hood (b). Open the hood out a little, then undo the zip on top of the metal support bar
(c). Slide the hood up until it’s clear of the handles (d).
Fitting the hood is a reversal of this procedure. Ensure the zip fits over the metal support bar (c)
and the clips fit around the screwhead under the frame (e).
11 - using the harness
A five point harness is provided to restrain your child. to fasten the harness push clips into buckle.
To unfasten push button (a) in and remove from buckle.
Sliding adjusters are fitted on the waist strap and should be carefully adjusted so the harness fits
your child comfortably. To adjust to the smallest size you will need to thread the adjusters through
the “D” ring.
The length of each strap can be changed by using adjusters (b) & (c).
To adjust the shoulder strap height locate the strap ends behind the seat (d) and pass through
slots, reposition to the desired height and pass back through relevant slot.
‘D’ rings are fitted at the end of each waist strap should you wish to attach a separate harness
complying to BS EN 13210.
12 - fitting the raincover
Unfold the raincover. Open the flaps at the back so that the raincover can fit over the handle (a).
At the front, secure the raincover to the pushchair chassis on either side with the velco strips (b).
The flap on the front of the raincover is secured by velcro tabs. The flap can be held open by
rolling it up and securing with the velcro strips at the top of the raincover (c).
13 - removing the seat cushion
Undo the harness and remove the chest pads Feed the shoulder straps (a) and crotch strap (b)
through the cushion. Move the waist straps (c) out of the way and lift the cushion away from the
pushchair.
14 - removing the basket
The basket can be removed by undoing the two poppers at the front (a) and undoing the zip (b) at
the back of the basket.
15 - removing the harness
Remove the seat cushion. At the back of the seat, pass the shoulder strap ends through slots (a).
Push the crotch strap end through the slot under the seat (b). At sides, twist the waist straps and
slide the straps through the gap in the retaining clip (c).
16 - folding the pushchair
Before folding please make sure the brake is engaged, the hood is folded flat and the backrest is
pushed to upright position.First press in the button (a) and turn the handle in the direction of the
arrow. At the same time pull the catch (b) back then push down on the handle (c). Fold the
pushchair and secure with the locking catch (d).
To unfold the pushchair unfasten the locking catch (d), lift the handle upwards until the pushchair
automatically locks into position.
It is recommend that you check the chassis is locked before continuing.

care
Your pushchair has been designed to meet safety standards and with correct use and maintenence
will give many years of trouble free performance.
The chassis is strong but will weaken should the back wheel be bumped down stairs or kerbs.
Continual impact will cause damage.
If your child wears hard shoes these might damage the soft fabric.
Storing a damp pushchair will encourage mildew to form.
After exposure to damp conditions, dry off with a soft cloth, open fully and allow to dry
thoroughly before storing.
Store your pushchair in a dry, safe place.
Do not leave the pushchair in sunlight for prolonged periods - some fabrics may fade.
maintenance
This pushchair requires regular maintenance by the user.
Cosatto products are designed to operate with minimum maintenance, however regular lubrication
of moving parts will extend the life of your pushchair and make opening and folding easier.
Should parts of your pushchair become stiff or difficult to operate, apply a light application of a
spray lubricant e.g. silicone. Do not use oil or grease.
Regularly inspect the locking devices, brakes, wheels, harness assembly, catches, seat adjusters,
joints and fixtures to ensure they are secure and in full working order. They should be free to move
at all times.
Brakes and wheels are subject to wear and should be replaced if necessary.
Your pushchair should be serviced and reconditioned before using it for a second baby, or within
18 months, whichever is the sooner.
cleaning
The hood may be cleaned by sponging lightly using warm water and a mild detergent.
Plastic and metal parts may be sponged clean with warm water and a mild detergent.
Never clean with abrasive, ammonia based, bleach based or spirit type cleaners.
Please follow the wash care instructions stated on the wash care label located on the soft goods.
