the i gredie ts i to freezer for pre-freeze, as it will easily make
the ble der blade blocked before the ice cream is i good

2) Function buttons
[POWER] Button: After co ecti g with the electricity, the machi e will e ter
i to sta dby mode a d LCD will display “60

00”. The touch the [POWER]
butto to e ter i to the setti g mode. Touch the [POWER] butto duri g
operatio , the machi e will be powered off.
[Menu] Button: By touchi g this butto , there is 3 worki g modes for optio ,
i cludi g: ICE CREAM, COOLING ONLY, a d MIXING ONLY. Hold this butto
duri g operatio , the machi e will e ter back i to the setti g mode.
[TIME ] Button: Touch butto [TIME+] o ce, the time will i crease by 1
mi ute. If hold the butto [TIME+] for over 2 seco ds, the time will i crease
rapidly. The maximum time is 60 mi utes.
[TIME-] Button: Touch butto [TIME-] o ce, the time will decrease by 1
mi ute. If hold the butto [TIME-] for over 2 seco ds, the time will decrease
rapidly. The mi imum time is 5 mi utes.

[START/PAUSE] Button: After setti g the me u a d time, touch this butto to
start the worki g mode. Duri g operatio , by touchi g this butto , the mixi g
will pause a d the time cou tdow will pause also.
Making Ice Cream
Cleanness: Before use, thoroughly wash all parts that will come i to co tact with the ice
cream (i cludi g the fixed bowl, removable bowl, mixi g blade, tra spare t lid, refill lid,
measuri g cup a d spoo ).
Warning: Please be sure the power cord is u plugged.
Important: Always place the Ice Cream Maker upright o a flat surface i
order that the build-i COMPRESSOR ca provide best performa ce.
Step 1. Prepare recipe ingredients:
Prepare recipe i gredie ts from your ow recipe or from the recipe booklet
here. Note: You do ot eed to freeze the bowl for hours i a freezer i
adva ce, as this machi e has a BUILT-IN COMPRESSOR that freezes the
recipe i gredie ts i operatio thus e sure the output of ice cream.
Step 2.Pour the well prepared recipe i gredie ts a d warm water i to the
removable bowl, the have a u iform mixi g (See below picture).
Step 3. Put the removable bowl i to the machi e a d slightly tur arou d the

bowl to make it fitted well with the fixed bowl (See below picture).
Step 4. Place the mixi g blade i to the removable bowl a d keep the mixi g
blade bottom hole fitted well with the motor axis. The put the tra spare t lid
o to the machi e a d lock it a ticlockwise (See below picture).
Step 5. Touch the [POWER] butto to make the machi e electrified, see
Arrow “

Operation
Keep warm process

Keep warm function
To avoid melti g whe the ice cream is ot placed well i time, the followi g
desig is supported: After the ice cream is fi ished a d without a y other
operatio , the machi e will start up the keep warm fu ctio automatically,
which ca keep warm for 1 hour. O e hour later, machi e will e ter sta dby
state.
Motor self-protection function
Whe the ice cream becomes harder, the mixi g motor might be blocked.
The the motor protectio device makes the mixi g motor stop worki g by
detecti g its temperature to e sure the life of the motor.

Controlling the Volume of the Ingredients
To avoid overflow a d waste, please make sure that the i gredie ts do ot
exceed 60% of capacity of the removable bowl (Ice cream expa ds whe
bei g formed)
The Differences Among These Three Working Mode
1. Ice cream mode: the default worki g time is 60 mi utes. The detailed
operatio is i structed as above.
2. Si gle freezi g mode, the default worki g time is 30 mi utes. The operatio
is similar with that of ice cream mode, but there is ’t mixi g fu ctio .
3. Si gle mixi g mode, the default worki g time is 10 mi utes. The operatio is
similar with that of ice cream mode, but there is ’t freezi g fu ctio .
STORAGE OF ICE CREAM

woode spoo , do ot use a metal scoop avoidi g scratch o the i side
removable bowl.

ICE CREAM RECIPE MANUAL
VANILLA ICE CREAM
Makes eight 1/2-cup servi gs.
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup gra ulated sugar
3/2 cups heavy cream, well chilled
1 – 2 teaspoo s pure va illa extract, to taste
I a medium bowl, use a ha d mixer or a whisk to combi e the milk a d
gra ulated sugar u til the sugar is dissolved, about 1 – 2 mi utes o low
speed. Stir i the heavy cream a d va illa to taste. Tur machi e o , pour
mixture i to freezer bowl through i gredie t spout a d let mix u til thicke ed,
about 30 – 40 mi utes.

VARIATIONS:
Mi t Chip: Omit the va illa a d replace with 1 to 1-1/2 teaspoo s pure
peppermi t extract (to taste). Chop your favorite 4-ou ce bittersweet or
semi-sweet chocolate bar i to ti y u eve pieces. Add the chopped

chocolate duri g the last 5 mi utes of mixi g.
Butter Peca : Melt 1 stick u salted butter i a 10-i ch skillet. Add 1 cup
roughly chopped peca s a d 1 teaspoo kosher salt. Cook over
medi-um-low heat, stirri g freque tly u til the peca s are lightly brow ed.
Remove from the heat, strai (the butter will have a peca flavor a d may be
reserved for a other use). Allow the peca s to cool completely. Add the
toasted buttered peca s duri g the last 5 mi utes of mixi g.
Cookies & Cream: Add 3/4 cup coarsely chopped cookies or your favorite
ca dy (chocolate chip, Oreos., Mi t Oreos., etc.) duri g the last 5 mi utes of
mixi g.
BASIC CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM
Makes eight 1/2-cup servi gs.
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup gra ulated sugar
240g or 8 ou ces bittersweet or semi-sweet chocolate (your favorite),
broke i to 1/2-i ch pieces
1 cup heavy cream, well chilled
1 teaspoo pure va illa extract
Heat the whole milk u til it is just bubbli g arou d the edges (this may be
do e o the stovetop or i a microwave). I a ble der or food processor fitted
with the metal blade, pulse to process the sugar with the chocolate u til the
chocolate is very fi ely chopped. Add the hot milk, process u til well ble ded
a d smooth. Tra sfer to a medium bowl a d let the chocolate mixture cool
completely. Stir i the heavy cream a d va illa to taste.
Tur the machi e o , pour mixture i to freezer bowl through
i gredie t spout a d let mix u til thicke ed, about 30 – 40 mi utes.

Chocolate Almo d: Add 1/2 teaspoo pure almo d extract alo g with the

Chocolate Cookie: Add 1/2 - 1 cup chopped cookies duri g the last 5 mi utes

Chocolate Fudge Brow ie: Add 1/2 - 1 cup chopped day old brow ies duri g
the last 5 mi utes of freezi g.
Chocolate Marshmallow Swirl: Whe removi g the ice cream to a co tai er
for freezi g, layer it with dollops of your favorite chocolate sauce a d scoops
of marshmallow crème (fluff).
FRESH STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM
Makes eight 1/2-cup servi gs.
250g or 1 pi t fresh ripe strawberries, stemmed a d sliced
3/2 tablespoo s freshly squeezed lemo juice
1/2 cup sugar, divided
1 cup whole milk
1 cups heavy cream
1 teaspoo pure va illa extract
I a small bowl, combi e the strawberries with the lemo juice a d 1/2 cup of
the sugar; stir ge tly a d allow to the strawberries to macerate i the juices
for 2 hours.
I a medium bowl, use a ha d mixer or a whisk to combi e the milk ,a d
gra ulated sugar u til the sugar is dissolved, about 1 – 2 mi utes o low
speed. Stir i the heavy cream plus a y accumulated juices from the
strawberries a d va illa. Tur the machi e o , pour mixture i to freezer bowl
through i gredie t spout a d let mix u til thicke ed, about 30 – 40 mi utes.
Add the sliced strawberries duri g the last 5 mi utes of freezi g.
Note: this ice cream will have a “ atural” appeara ce of very pale pi k; if a
deeper pi k is desired, spari gly add drops of red food colori g u til desired
color is achieved.

FRESH LEMON SORBET
Makes eight 1/2-cup servi gs.
3/2 cups sugar
3/2 cups water

1 cup freshly squeezed lemo juice
1 tablespoo fi ely chopped lemo zest *
Combi e the sugar a d water i a medium saucepa a d bri g to a boil over
medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low a d simmer without stirri g u til the
sugar dissolves, about 3 – 5 mi utes. Cool completely. This is called a simple
syrup, a d may be made ahead i larger qua tities to have o ha d for
maki g fresh lemo sorbet. Keep refrigerated u til ready to use.
Whe cool, add the lemo juice a d zest; stir to combi e. Tur the machi e
o , pour the lemo mixture i to freezer bowl through i gredie t spout a d
mix u til thicke ed, about 30 – 40 mi utes.
Whe zesti g a lemo or lime use a vegetable peeler to remove the colored
part of the citrus ri d.

VARIATION:
Fresh Pi k Grapefruit Sorbet: Substitute 1-1/2 cups freshly squeezed pi k
grapefruit juice for the lemo juice, a d 1 tablespoo fi ely chopped
grapefruit zest for the lemo zest. Add 1/4 cup Orgeat Syrup to the mixture
(Orgeat Syrup is used for cocktails such as a MaiTai or Scorpio a d ca be
fou d with the dri k mixers i most grocery stores).
CHOCOLATE FROZEN YOGURT
Makes eight 1/2-cup servi gs.
1 cup whole milk
180g or 6 ou ces bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, chopped
2 cups low-fat va illa yogurt
1/4 cup sugar
Combi e the milk a d chocolate i a ble der or food processor fitted with the
metal blade a d process u til well ble ded a d smooth, 20 – 30 seco ds.
Add the yogurt a d sugar; process u til smooth, about 15 seco ds. Tur the
machi e ON, pour mixture i to freezer bowl through i gredie t spout a d let
mix u til thicke ed, about 50 – 60 mi utes.
