A. Calibration Tips
1. coVita calibration instructional videos can be found
under the support section of www.covita.net .
2. You must calibrate every 6 months to correct for
sensor drift using 50 ppm Carbon Monoxide (CO)
calibration gas. On occasion your Micro+ may prompt
you for an intermittent calibration.
3. Your Micro+ a has built in calibration
reminders to prompt you to calibrate
every 6 months.
4. Be sure to identify your flow meter-
regulator for correct instructions.
5. Remove flow meter-regulator from can for proper
storage and replace dust cap. (You may hear a pop
and this is normal.)
6. Ensure that the caliadaptor tubing has no kinks while
the gas is flowing.

C. Calibration Set Up
1. Remove dust cap from can of gas
2. Ensure the find control valve on the flow meter-
regulator is in the off position.
3. Screw the regulator-flow meter onto the gas can
(some slight pressure may be required). This can
best done by screwing the gas can into the valve.
4. Attach the small end of the tubing onto the regulator-
flow meter.
5. Insert a D-piece into the Micro+.
6. Insert the large end of the caliadaptor tubing over the
D-piece.

D. Calibration
1. Ensure you are performing a calibration in a fresh air environment.
2. Turn Micro+ ON by holding the on/off button down for three seconds.
3. Main Screen
a. On the main screen touch the gears icon.
4. Gears Screen
a. Touch the calibration icon to enter the calibration screen.
5. Calibration Mode
a. Touch the zero icon to zero the monitor. The monitor will
display an hour glass and then a check mark. Touch the
check mark to return back to the calibration screen.
b. Touch the calibration icon. (Note: the canister is no longer
crossed out)
c. Immediately turn on the gas by turning the valve. No fine tuning is
required because this regulator is fixed at 1 lpm.
d. The monitor’s reading will slowly climb from zero and a spinning
hour glass will be shown on the screen as well.
e. When you receive a check mark, turn OFF the gas.
Touch the check mark to lock in calibration & to return
previous menu.
f. Touch the home icon or return arrow to return to the main
screen.
g. Calibration Complete Please contact coVita with any questions.
