Coyote NAV is an alert system, giving you information in real time about any mobile speed cameras, fixed speed came-
ras, risk zones, danger zones, traffic incidents and also a GPS navigation tool.

INSTALLATION INSIDE THE VEHICLE

Find a smooth area on your dashboard or windscreen.
Make sure that the support sucker and the adhesion area are dry. If the sucker is not clean,
rub it carefully with soapy water, then dry it fully before use.

SWITCHING ON AND OFF
SWITCH ON THE COYOTE NAV
To switch on the device manually, press the on/off b u t t o n .
Your COYOTE NAV switches on automatically when it is powe-
red via the USB socket.
SWITCH OFF THE COYOTE NAV
If you want to switch off the COYOTE NAV manually, press the
on/off button. Your COYOTE NAV switches off automatically
after 5 minutes of inactivity.
BATTERY
Fully charge your COYOTE NAV before the first use.
The full battery life is reached after several charging/discharging
cycles.

If it is plugged in, your COYOTE switches on automatically when
you start your vehicle. Automatic switch-off can be set directly
from the “MENU SETTINGS” menu.

LOCATION IN THE VEHICLE:
The COYOTE NAV must be put behind your inside mirror if your
vehicle has an athermic windscreen (no GPS reception outside
this zone). You should put your COYOTE NAV somewhere that
does not obstruct you while driving. The COYOTE NAV is not de-
signed for outdoor use. It should only be used inside the
vehicle.
GSM TRANSMISSION:
The COYOTE NAV includes a GSM 3G radio transmission system.
You should comply with the same recommendations for use as
for a mobile phone.
ROAD SAFETY:
Keep your full attention on driving your vehicle, avoid handling
the COYOTE NAV while at the wheel. The COYOTE NAV is a dri-
ving assistant that encourages compliance with the Highway
Code. However reliable they are, the speed limits shown by your
COYOTE NAV do not replace those duly signalled by the official
road signs. Coyote can therefore not be held responsible for any
offences committed by not respecting the road signs.
EXCESSIVE TEMPERATURE:
Avoid leaving your COYOTE NAV in a stationary vehicle in full
sun. Use in temperatures above 50°C will make the screen go
blank and considerably reduce the lifetime of the screen and the
battery.
BATTERY:
Your COYOTE NAV has a rechargeable battery. Keep away from
fire - risk of explosion.
WARRANTY:
The COYOTE NAV is guaranteed against any parts faults or ma-
nufacturing defects for 24 months from the purchase date if the
purchase was made directly from Coyote System or Coyote Sys-
tems BENELUX. If the device is opened up by a technician not
authorised by COYOTE System, the warranty will no longer be
valid. The COYOTE NAV complies with the essential require-
ments and other applicable conditions of Directive 1999/5/EC.

Choisissez un emplacement lisse sur votre tableau de bord ou pare-brise.
Assurez-vous que la ventouse du support et l’emplacement d’adhésion sont secs. Si la ventouse n’est pas propre,
la frotter délicatement avec de l’eau savonneuse pour la nettoyer, puis la sécher complètement avant utilisation.

ALLUMAGE / ARRÊT

ALLUMER COYOTE NAV
Pour allumer votre produit manuellement, appuyez sur le bouton
marche/arrêt. Votre COYOTE NAV s’allume automatiquement lors-
qu’il est alimenté en courant par sa prise USB.
ÉTEINDRE COYOTE NAV
Si vous souhaitez éteindre manuellement votre COYOTE NAV, ap-
puyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt. Votre COYOTE s’éteint automa-
tiquement après 5 minutes d’immobilité.
BATTERIE
Veuillez charger votre COYOTE NAV complètement avant la
première utilisation. La pleine autonomie de la batterie est ob-
tenue après plusieurs cycles de charge/décharge.

S’il est branché, votre COYOTE s’allume automatiquement au démar-
rage de votre véhicule. L’extinction automatique peut être paramé-
trée directement depuis le menu « MENU RÉGLAGES».

EMPLACEMENT DANS LE VÉHICULE :
Vous devrez placer le boîtier COYOTE NAV impérativement derrière votre ré-
troviseur intérieur si votre véhicule dispose d’un pare-brise athermique (pas
de réception GPS hors de cette zone). Vous devez placer le COYOTE NAV
à un endroit qui ne gêne pas votre conduite. Le COYOTE NAV n’est pas
conçu pour une utilisation à l’extérieur. Il doit être utilisé à l’intérieur
du véhicule uniquement.
TRANSMISSION GSM :
Le COYOTE NAV intègre un système de transmission radio GSM 3G. Il convient
de respecter les mêmes recommandations d’utilisation que pour un télé-
phone mobile.
SÉCURITÉ ROUTIÈRE :
Afin de garder toute votre attention sur la conduite de votre véhicule,
évitez de manipuler le COYOTE NAV quand vous conduisez. Le COYOTE
NAV n’incite pas au non-respect du Code de la Route. Aussi fiables
soient-elles, les limitations de vitesse indiquées par le COYOTE NAV ne
sauraient remplacer celles dûment signalées par les panneaux indica-
teurs qui, seuls, font foi. Coyote ne peut donc être tenu responsable
de toute infraction fondée sur le non-respect des panneaux de signa-
lisation.
TEMPÉRATURE EXCESSIVE :
Évitez de laisser le COYOTE NAV dans un véhicule à l’arrêt en plein
soleil. Une utilisation par une température supérieure à 50°C provoque
une extinction de l’écran et réduit considérablement la durée de vie
de l’écran et de la batterie.
BATTERIE :
Le COYOTE NAV disposant d’une batterie rechargeable, il est strictement
interdit de l’approcher d’une flamme, sous peine d’explosion.
GARANTIE :
Le COYOTE NAV est garanti contre tout défaut de pièces ou de fabri-
cation pendant 24 mois à partir de la date d’achat, si l’achat a été ef-
fectué directement auprès de la société Coyote Systems ou Coyote
Systems Benelux. L’ouverture du boîtier par un technicien non habi-
lité par Coyote System annule la garantie. Le COYOTE NAV est conforme
aux exigences essentielles et aux autres conditions applicables de la
Directive 1999/5/CE. Le certificat de conformité du produit est dispo
