Steri-wand User Guide
Operating Instructions:
1. Open battery cover and load 4 AA batteries.
2. Remove the lampshade and press POWER button for 3 seconds to turn it on. UV light and timer can be turned
off if the POWER button is pressed again and held for 3 seconds.
3. Timer setting is activated after pressing the timer button over 3 seconds, 5-minute, 15-minute, 30-minute and
continuous working modes can be selected with timing button.
4. 10mm-40mm distance is suggested between disinfection target surface and the product.
5. 2-3 scans are needed for extra dirty areas.
6. Users should also ensure these areas are fully covered by UV rays. Better disinfection can be achieved in
shorter distance.
7. Power it off and cover the lampshade well to protect bulbs from damage after sterilization.
Safety Features
1. Special PCD lampshade can protect users from exposing to UVC-rays.
2. This UVC Sterilizing Wand will shut down automatically when it is turned over.
3. The portable sterilization wand will stop working automatically after setting time.
4. 3 second delay start systems.
Caution:
1. UVC Steri-Wand is not waterproof, please keep it away from water.
2. Keep out of reach of children.
3. UV rays can hurt your eyes or skin, a proper distance should be maintained.
4. This wand is for surface disinfection.
5. Will not work if a bulb is broken, battery is dead or installed wrong, and button failures.
6. Cannot be cleaned with detergent, gasoline, glass cleaner, or any other house hold cleaners.
7. If batteries are low, multiple scans are suggested for performance until changed out. Waste
Disposal
1. Used batteries should be properly processed or recycled according to local laws in order to
protect the environment.
2. Mercury inside the UV bulb of this product. Bulb should be put into a plastic bag and
properly processed.
3. Used bulb or bulb fragments are suggested to be sent to waste disposal center.
4. If there is a defect with the wand please contact CPS LED for information on replacement
options.
