Procedure to download a new firmware in DUOGEN
Tools:
•Computer with Flash-it (Flash-it has to ordered directly to www.hse-electronic.com)
•DB9M/DB9F cable
•24VDC power supply
•A shunt for the Boot Strap
Procedure:
1. Get off the cover of DUOGEN.
2. Put the shunt on ST1. See picture below.
3. Connect the computer (serial port) to DUOGEN with DB9 cable.
4. Connect power supply on terminals 1 (+) and 2 (-) of DUOGEN.
5. Switch on the power.
6. Start Flash-it on the computer.
6.1. In “File” window: Select the Exe file *.h86
6.2. In “Config” window:
Bus Mode: Autodetect
Erase mode: Sector erase
6.3. In “Option” window:
User serial number generation: check Enable at address 0x001800
Prefix, example: 4503A
Number, example: 002
6.4. Then click on “Analysis + Download”
7. When download completed, Flash-it screen becomes green.
8. Switch off the power.
9. Put off the shunt on ST1.
