LET OP! / ATTENTION!
Standaard fabrieks instelling is 700 mA. Wilt u een maximale lichtopbrengst voor uw CLS MR16, dan dient u de driver op
1050 mA in te stellen.
Standard factory setting is 700 mA. If you want to get the maximum light output out of your CLS MR16, you need to set
the driver at 1050 mA.

INTRODUCTIE
De CLS MTD44 levert 3 spanningen (10V, 12V, 24V) en 3 stromen (350mA, 700mA, 1050mA). Eenvoudig te
kiezen via dipswitches. De Dimingang kan gestuurd worden door een standaard regelaar van 1-10V
(range 0-100%) een potmeter van 100K (range 0-100%) of een puls schakelaar (range 3-100%). Door een
korte puls kunnen de LED’s echter wel uit- en aangeschakeld worden.
De CLS MTD44 is viervoudig beveiligd: thermisch, tegen kortsluiting aan de secundaire zijde, tegen overbelas-
ting en onbelast gebruik.
Ontregeld systeem bij gebruik puls functie
Bij het parallel aansluiten van een puls schakelaar op meerdere drivers kan het voorkomen dat de puls lengte
net te kort of te lang is. Op deze kritische grens kan het zijn dat de drivers uit de pas gaan lopen. Dit kan
worden gereset zonder de netvoeding af te schakelen.
Reset procedure:
• Druk lang op de pulsschakelaar. De drivers gaan nu altijd aan, onafhankelijk van de beginstand.
• Geef een korte puls. De drivers zijn nu allemaal uit.
• Druk nu weer lang. Alle drivers gaan aan en regelen van laag naar
hoog en regelen weer gelijk. We adviseren het gebruik met puls bediening voornamelijk voor armaturen
waarin de driver individueel geregeld word. Het volledig synchroon regelen kan alleen met een master -
slave systeem waarbij de master de dimpuls verwerkt. Hierin is in onze drivers niet voorzien.
BELANGRIJKE INFORMATIE
• De CLS MTD44 mag alleen door erkende installateurs gemonteerd worden!
• Vóór montage de netspanning uitschakelen, ook als aan het secundaire circuit gewerkt wordt!
• LET OP: Controleer of de aan te sluiten LED units op stroom of spanning werken! Bij verkeerd aansluiten
kunnen deze stuk gaan!
• De CLS MTD44 is alleen geschikt voor binnen gebruik!
• Belast de driver nooit hoger dan 20W bij 230V en 15W bij 110V. Bij overbelasting gaan de LED’s knipperen
tijdens dimmen!
• De output en 1-10V ingang zijn SELV en mogen niet met 110-240V bekabeling gecombineerd worden.
• De CLS MTD44 is alleen geschikt voor binnen gebruik!
• Maximaal 10 mtr. Secundair snoer gebruiken (bij max. belasting).
• Puls bediening alleen aanbevolen voor een individuele driver.
Onverwacht gedrag bij gebruik 1-10V regelsysteem
Wanneer de driver met een 1-10 Volt systeem geregeld wordt, kan het voorkomen dat de 1-10 Volt regelaar
een spanningspiek levert (of toestaat) die hoger is dan 12 Volt. Deze piek schakelt de driver in de ‘pulsscha-
kelaar modus’. Als gevolg hiervan kan onverwacht en ongewenst gedrag van de LEDs optreden. Dit kan wor-
den voorkomen door een 10 of 12 Volt Zener diode over de uitgang van het regelsysteem te plaatsen.

INTRODUCTION
The CLS MTD 44 generates 3 output voltages (10V, 12V, 24V) and 3 different current settings (350mA,
700mA, 1050mA). Easy adjustable through dipswitch settings. For the DIM-input can be used: a standard 1-
10V controller (range 0-100%), a 100K potentiometer (range 0-100%), or a pulse switch (range 3-100%). A
short
pulse switches the LEDs on or off. The CLS MTD44 has fourfold protection: Thermal; short circuit; over voltage
andopen circuit.
Disorganized system when using pulse function
When parallel connecting a pulse switch on several drivers it can occur that the pulse length is exactly too
short or too long. On this critical border it can be that the drivers are not working in unison. It can be reset
without disconnecting the mains power.
Reset procedure:
• By long pressing the pulse switch the drivers always turn on, independently of the initial state.
• Give a short pulse and all the drivers are now off.
• By long pressing again all drivers turn on and ramp up in unison. We recommend pulse operation mainly
for fixtures in which each driver is regulated independently. Complete synchronous regulation is only
possible with a master-slave system where the master processes the pulse. We did not equip our drivers
with such a system.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• The CLS MTD44 must be installed by qualified electricians only!
• Switch off the power supply before installation, also when making any change in the secondary circuit.
• WATCH OUT: Check if the LED units to be connected are current or voltage type! If incorrectly connected,
they can be damaged!
• The CLS MTD44 is intended for indoor use only!
• Never connect more load than 20W at 230V (15W at 110V). If you do, the LEDs will flicker while dimming!
• The maximum sec. wire length is 10mtr (at max. Power).
• The CLS MTD44 is intended for indoor use only.
• The outputs and 1-10 Volt input are SELV and may never be combined with the mains-cables.
• Pulse operation only recommended for a single driver.
Unexpected behaviour when using 1-10V controller system
When controlling the driver with 1-10 Volt system it can occur, the 1-10 Volt controller delivers (or allows) a
spike that higher is than 12 volts. This spike triggers the driver in to ‘pulse switch mode’. Resulting in unex-
pected and unintended behavior of the LEDs. In case of symptoms like these, it is sufficient to clamp the out-
put of the control system with a 10 or 12 volts zener diode. (cathode to the positive.)
