INSTALLATIONPRECAUTIONS:
1.Makesuretoconnectthe SV-8100.Wtothe correctvoltage.Failuretodosomayresultin
damagetotheunitoranyothercomponentshooked uptoit.
2.Donothide theTransmitterorReceivernexttoanythick metalplatesorwirelooms. Thismay
causestronginterferencewiththe wireless signal.
3.MounttheTransmitterandReceiverinawaysothereisminimalvibration.Excessive
vibrationmaycauseinterference.
WIRING:
1.ChooseaconvenientplacetomounttheTransmitterandReceiverfortheunit. Behindthe
trunkpanelsand underthedashboard,areusuallysuitablelocations.
2.Connectthe Redwireon the Transmitterand Receiverto+12VReverseLight,andthe Black
wireofbothunitstoChassisGround.
3.Connectthe YellowRCAvideocableofthe Transmittertothe RCAVideoOutputofyour
camera.
4.ConnecttheYellowRCAvideocableoftheReceivertotheRCAVideoInputofyourmonitor.
5.The +12Vpowerplugon theTransmitterandreceivercanbeusedtopluginPowerand
Ground foryourcameraandmonitor. NOTE: Somecamerasandmonitorswill nothavethis
type ofplug for+12Vand Ground.Inthiscaseyoucansimplyhardwire+12Vand Ground for
yourcameraand monitoranddisregardthisplug.
NOTE: Makesureall RCAcablesandPowerPlugsaresecuredtightlyandwrappedinElectrical
Tapetoprevent shortcircuits.
