1. FIND A SUITABLE LOCATION
If you don’t have an AV rack, pick an ideal location where
the Media Player can be installed – away from heat or wet
areas and close to your AV and network infrastructure.
2. CONNECT AUDIO
Plug the 3.5mm to 2RCA cables into the 3.5mm ports
( ) for each active zone. Connect the other end to your
venue's audio distribution.
3. CONNECT VIDEO
Plug the mini DisplayPort adaptor cable into the V1
port ( ). Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the
mini DisplayPort adaptor, and the other end to your
video distribution setup.
Utilise the HDMI to Video Scan Converter if required for
your venue AV distribution.
4. NETWORK & ROUTER
Using Router Connection: Plug the Ethernet cable from
your network source into the blue client Network / WAN
port at the back of the Wi-Fi Router. With the second
Ethernet cable, connect the Router to the LAN port ( ).
Using Direct Connection: Plug the Ethernet cable from
your network source into the LAN port ( ).
Using Wi-Fi Connection: This method of connection
should be discussed with Nightlife prior to setup. Screw
the provided Wi-Fi antennas to the Media Player (as
seen below). The Wi-Fi connection should establish
once you power on your Media Player in Step 5.
5. CONNECT POWER
Plug the supplied Media Player power supply into the
power socket ( ) and connect the other end to a power
source. Turn on the Media Player by icking the rocker
switch to the ON (I) position ( ) and then pressing the
power button on the front of the Media Player ( ).
6. CHECK PLAYBACK
After waiting a few minutes for the system to boot up,
check your TVs to ensure visuals are playing on your
screens, and listen to ensure your music is playing and
in sync with the visuals.
7. DOWNLOAD MANAGE MY NIGHTLIFE
Download the Manage My Nightlife app from the app
store. Open the app on your phone, sign in with your
credentials, check in to your music zone and ensure
you can hear the music playing.
Once you’ve completed these steps, give us a call to
continue onboarding with Nightlife.
