This operating manual includes the initial adjustment instructions
after installation and routine maintenance instructions of the
windows. The operation of the window should be checked and
adjusted to ensure a smooth operation and the operation ease can
be increased by adjusting the fittings as prescribed below. The
force needed for locking and unlocking of the window is defined
according to ASTM standard E2068-00.
1. SASH OPERATION
Unlock sash by flipping up locking handle to 180 degree (Figure 1).
Unfold the operator handle and rotate it converting a linear motion to
operator arm for pushing sash outward in a desired position. To close
the sash, leave the locking handle in the open position, and rotate the
operator handle in reverse direction providing linear motion to operator
arm for pulling sash inward until the sash fully close. Once the sash is in
close tight position, Fold the operator handle and flip the locking handle
downward all the way to lock.
2. LOCKING POINT ADJUSTMENT
To adjust frontward or reverse for compression (see Figure 2), insert
7/16'' open end wrench to locking point. Rotate the wrench to make the
indicator point downward sign for more compression (see Figure 3).
Rotate downward sign indicator if sash is too tight.

3. Hinge adjustment
Option 1: To adjust sash sideways (see figure 4), insert 7/64'' allen key to
bottom or top hinge at key hole and turn to the desired sash position (see
figure 5). This will provide -0.078''/+0.078'' horizontal adjustment.
Option 2: To adjust sash sideways (see figure 4), insert 7/16'' open end
wrench to bottom or top hinge under arm close to nut & and twist to pry
off to the desired sash position (see figure 7). Do not adjust nut more than
1/4 turn max each direction. This will provide -0.078''/+0.078'' horizontal
adjustment.

4. CLEANING
Remove any visible residue on the window frame and sashes. Use
Vacuum cleaner to pickup loose debris. Inspect and clean all weep holes
to ensure proper drainage. Use lukewarm water and a damp cloth. Start
from the top, working your way to the bottom of the window. First clean
on horizontal direction, then in vertical direction. Cloth must be frequently
rinsed and clean. Use soft sponge or squeegee and scrub gently to
remove tough dirt while applying water to the surface. Use a mild
detergent to remove other tough stains. Dry with clean cloth.
Never use liquid grease removers, paint removers, chlorine bleach, acid,
abrasive cleaners and any other harsh chemicals. Never use abrasive
pads to clean finished surfaces. Do not use excessive abrasive rubbing
to remove stubborn stains for it may damage finished surfaces. Do not
clean on sun-heated surfaces, only in shaded areas, or areas not
exposed to sunlight. Do not use razor sharp blades to clean glass. Do
not leave masking tapes, for when sun-baked, it will be permanently
attached and impossible to remove without damaging the surface.
