DESCRIPTION
The CyBe 3Dconcrete printing equipment is an improved version of the successful series CyBe 3Dconcrete printing
equipment built according to the latest state of technology and safety regulations. It can be used for trouble-free
3Dconcrete printing of all ready-mixed dry mortars - in especially CyBe MORTAR.
Its solid and clear construction, its service and user-friendly arrangement of all aggregates as well as its high reliability
are essential characteristics of the CyBe 3Dconcrete printing equipment.
The standard mixing and conveying capacity of approx. 170 l/hour. This can be changed according to the required
amount of wet mortar by using different pumps .
The CyBe MIXER 3Dp 1.0 has an easy to operate slide gate between the dry mortar hopper and the mixing tube. This
slide gate is installed in the mortar hopper. Thus the mixing tube can be swung out and with the slide gate closed; no
material is running out of the dry mortar hopper.
The CyBe MIXER 3Dp 1.0 can be fed manually with material in bags - or with a pneumatic conveying unit with
material from silos, this is not included
.
The feeding hood for pneumatic feeding is connected dust tight with eccentric locks to; the upper rim of the dry
mortar hopper. Drilling holes to fix the hood clamps is no longer necessary.
When opening the slide gate dry material is transported segregation-free with a conveying screw from the dry mortar
hopper to the mixing chamber where it is mixed with water, so that a homogeneous wet mortar is produced.
The necessary water amount can be adjusted with high accuracy, so that the quality of the mortar remains stable
during the entire working process.
The screw pump installed underneath the mixing tube transports the wet mortar through the hose line to the 3Dp
nozzle where the mortar is printed.
The electric control of the CyBe 3Dconcrete printing equipment is equipped with a restart protection, that means
when the machine was switched off in case of power cut or water shortage, it has to be re-started by pressing the
green key button "I".
The parts of the electric control are installed in a dust and waterproof control box which is mounted in a
user-friendly height at the mixing pump, so that all switches and electric connections can be reached easily.
The automatic sense of rotation ensures correct sense of rotation of the driving motors of the CyBe MIXER 3Dp 1.0.
With an additional switch, it is possible to run the pump motor backwards for a short while, e. g. to reduce pressure
in mortar hose.
The machine frame of the CyBe MIXER 3Dp 1.0 is equipped with 4 big swiveling wheels (two with brakes) which
enable an easy transport even in small rooms and a safe installation of the machine.
The tools for cleaning and manual turning are installed at the machine frame and are therefore always available
when needed.
The CyBe MIXER 3Dp 1.0 can easily and quickly be taken apart and reassembled without tools for the transport from
floor to floor.

8

WORK BREAKS
1.) Short Work Breaks
In case of short work breaks which are not longer than the setting time of the mortar (up to approx. 20 min.), e. g. to
transport the machine from one room to another, only stop the machine by remote control.
Turn off main power switch and close the slide gate to avoid water running into the dry mortar hopper.
Note:
Take care that the spray gun is laid down with the mortar nozzle downwards during work breaks as otherwise mortar
pushing from behind would block the air nozzle.
2.) Long Work Breaks and End of Work
In case of long work breaks which exceed the setting time of the mortar, e. g. at the end of spraying work, it is
necessary to clean the mixing chamber and the mortar hoses thoroughly as follows:
2.1) Switch off the conveying screw motor and close the slide gate.
The remaining material in the mixing chamber and in the hose should be sprayed until the mortar consistency is too
fluid.
2.2) Switch off the screw pump motor with key "0" of the screw pump motor and turn the compressor off as
well.
2.3) Take the mixing shaft out off the mixing tube and replace it by the cleaning device.
2.4) By starting the screw pump motor several times shortly, the cleaning scraper is working its way
downwards mixing chamber. During this process the remaining mortar in the mixing chamber is removed
and pumped into the mortar hose,
2.5) Observe the mortar pressure gauge and ensure that the mortar hose is free from pressure. Disconnect
the mortar hose carefully from the pump outlet (turn face away, wear protective goggles!!).
2.6) Clean and dry the mixing shaft and replace it against the cleaning scraper. A wet mixing shaft sticks
together with dry mortar and causes faults when starting the machine.
2.7) Disconnect the rubber mortar nozzle from the spray gun and clean it thoroughly with water. Connect the
hose cleaning adapter to the mortar hose and insert a sponge ball. Then connect the mortar hose to the
cleaning connection. The sponge ball is pressed through the hose by water. The sponge ball is held back
at the air nozzle in the spray gun.
2.8) After having closed the cleaning connection, disconnect the spray gun from the mortar hose and the
mortar hose from the cleaning connection.
Note:
To avoid dirt coming into the hoses, connect the hose ends after winding up the hoses. This procedure will avoid
faults caused by dirt.
2.9) After having pulled out the air nozzle from the spray gun, the sponge ball can be removed. Clean the
air nozzle with water.
Clean the spray gun with water. Check that the place for the mortar nozzle is absolutely clean and
that the mortar nozzle cannot be removed from the spray gun by mortar pressure.
2.10) During longer work breaks or at the end of work, especially in case of temperatures below zero
remove the water from the water dosing armature. Open both water outlet valves underneath the
compact armature. Additionally the water armature is blown through with air. Therefore, connect
9

the compressor to the water intake at the machine, disconnect the water hose from the mixing tube,
open the water outlet valves and press the water flow key, so that the armature can be blown
through. The compressor is turned on with the main power switch.
Note:
If you drain the water armature all year round, temperatures below zero will not cause any bad surprise.
2.11) Especially when working with gypsum-plaster, it is necessary to clean the pump outlet at least once a
day. Otherwise mortar sticks at the pump outlet which causes an increased operating pressure and
thus an increased wear of the pump parts.
The pump outlet can easily be disconnected from the mixing tube by opening the two tension screws,
now the pan can be cleaned thoroughly.
2.12) Cleaning of the dry mortar hopper is only necessary when using different kinds of dry mortar or
when preparing the machine for a long standstill.
3.) Preparation for a Long Standstill:
Should the CyBe MIXER 3Dp 1.0 be prepared for a longer standstill, e. g. during winter season, we recommend
taking out the pump screw from the screw jacket in addition to the cleaning procedure mentioned under point
2.
This procedure avoids distortion of the inner screw jacket and possible adhesion of the purnp screw to the screw
jacket.
10

MAINTENANCE AND CARE
Ensure that machine cannot be started unexpectedly during all maintenance and repair work (disconnect main
power supply!).
The CyBe MIXER 3Dp 1.0 has been constructed almost maintenance-free. For a trouble-free operation mixing
chamber, mixing shaft, conveying screw, mortar hopper and vent hole have always to be free from hardened
mortar residuals.
Never grease or moisten the red bronze bearing for conveying screw. Exchange it, when necessary.
The control box of the electric control has to be dust-free and dry inside. If necessary, clean control box with a
vacuum cleaner, but disconnect main power supply first. Cleaning by compressed air is not recommended as
the dust will get into the switch contacts which could cause destruction of the contacts.
The gear motors are greased for their life-time. Should grease leak out of the gear motors, the gear box have to
be refilled with ENERGREASE or a similar grease. Take into consideration that indicated filling amounts are not
exceeded.
Clean the insert sieve at the water intake of the machine daily before starting work and clean the sieve of the
pressure reduction once a week.
Note:
When mounting-the sieve cup take care that O-ring is in correct position.
Grease the air nozzle slightly after cleaning, so that it can be moved easily inside of the spray gun.
Disconnect the electric plug-in connections from time to time and grease their contacts slightly. This preserves
easy-going of the plug-in connections and avoids burning of the contacts.
Dismount and clean the filter discs at the suction side of the membrane compressor and on the opposite side in
case of indoor plastering at least 2 times a week and in case of outdoor plastering every fortnight. Take care
that the filters are placed with the smooth coarse filter side to the outside and with the hard fine filter side to
the inside when reinstalling.
MORTAR HOSES
The right choice and use of mortar hoses has considerable effect on the wear of the pump parts. To guarantee
trouble-free operation of the screw pump, observe the following rules:
1.) Only use high-pressure proof and reinforced mortar hoses - with a diameter of 25mm and approved for
an operating pressure of at least 40 bars - with at works installed couplings!!!
2.) Avoid narrowing of hose cross-section (e. g. by sharp bending).
3.) Clean and intact couplings reduce the danger of blockages!
4.) It is compulsory to moisten the mortar hoses before operation by connecting the hose to the cleaning
water valve. Drain the water by lifting the hose.
5.) Add more water than normally necessary to the mortar at the beginning of the operation. Check the
mortar consistency at the pump outlet and readjust to the correct consistency.
6.) After having adjusted to the right consistency, connect mortar hose to the pump outlet.
7.) Never connect 2 hoses to extend length.
11

UNLIKELY OCCASION OF ERROR &
TROUBLESHOOTING
In most of the cases faults at the CyBe MIXER 3Dp 1.0 can be corrected easily. When correcting faults, observe
carefully the following instructions:
1.) Disconnect main power supply before opening the control box!
2.) Switch off main power supply switch or disconnect main power supply when working at the moving parts
of the machine!
3.) Only trained service staff is allowed to do repairs at the electric control and the armatures!
